however, his movement, utility usage, and the FACT that he's afraid of taking duels because he has 0 confidence in his aim/fragging ability makes me believe that i wouldn't see any plays that make him look like a god TO ME, at least.

@@zachariemdn CT they have to make the hard choices you just hold your site. T you gotta push sites and take tgge risks. CT is easier for most since you just hold angles rather than push into a site.
@@zachariemdn Im MG 2 so i can work as an intermediary lol, he said that when he gets agresive peeks and kills enemys, he later gets too agressive and then is not that good, you want to be agressive on CT side, but you have to know when is worth it to take the risk, cuz either you will destroy them or die with little impact.

I think this was from a week where I played only inferno and only this position. And after the week I watched like 20 launders demos on Inferno and learned something. Especially from electronic and XANTARES.
Had some discussion with my team and we implemented some more aggressive plays on apartments to find information to rotate more effectively.
Bro, massive props to you for sharing the demo. I struggle in similar ways when playing pit and I learned a lot from this video.
@@flipper__ honestly: watch the launders demos reviews of electronic on inferno, taught me more than anything in the past 4 months. If you were to watch any more recent demo where I play this position - you will find a lot of differences.

@@Veptis I'd love to see it too. I rarely ever play inferno, lol. Been trying to play a bit more on it recently, but I'm mostly a die hard vertigo/mirage player lol. Got to dmg, had a few bad games, and stuck back in mge for over 3 months now lol.
I could tell you watched the Launders video because you were playing just like Electronic. VOO pointed out some differencs that is a good nuance to how Electronic plays it.
I actually played pit the same way after watching Launders videos and studying Electronic's games myself but of course he is a pro with lots of small details that's hard to replicate.

It's even worse because there is usually always that one guy on own team that starts complaining about low kills/ADR and it just destroys morale completely.

@@t.etelber8230 are you sure? Those type of people pay no attention to their own gameplay and just nitpick on everyone else as they think they are the best player on the match. Plus I don't think anyone realises how badly hearing "you're trash" etc, affects someone's mentality.
@@morejaeru I usually play like shit for the first ten rounds and then someone says I should delete the game and then I destroy everyone and we win so it kinda helps actually
@@morejaeru If they have the highest kpr, kda, etc then chances are, they are the best. They are being held down by shit teammates so although it's bad to flame, it's understandable. And fyi, the higher up you go, the more toxic people are. Until you reach pros, or players 3k+ elo competing in teams etc. Feel like 19/20 faceit 10s are toxic including me.
Trying to help other player's spots is something I do way too often and my teammates make the same mistake as well. Great stuff.
I started using the pit spots you talked about, working great, combined with a popflash on the Balcony door towards short, it is really fun.
he's really lacking confidence, If you put time and effort into practicing and giving your time into the game you need to be confident in yourself that you'll do what you have practiced. Sure there are times where it's rough but you can't let that get the better of you
I don't think he necessarily lacks confidence. I just think he felt uncomfortable in the position he played. It looks more like he knew the map, but wasn't experienced in the specific spot. As mentioned, he lacks creativity in terms of rotation, off angle spots, changing position, baiting utility with pit smoke. He played like a book with 2 recipes. 1 page stand on balcony and 2nd page in pit. That's why the T's had easy entry on him everytime. I think he has the skills and potential for higher lvl/rank as the knows fundamental and basic CS. Props to Vipitus btw.
3:26 electronic plays the same angle as the LEM quite often and stays pit early just like the LEM. His modern games have him switching angles of course but the left side pit angle is one of electronics favorites which he plays with an AUG a lot.

12:30 so true! Once you lose confidence in a game you're screwed. I try to just tell myself I have thousands of hours in the game and take a deep breath. Being 0-11 in a half hurts hard not to fall off a cliff.
Also, S1mple has had horrible half's of csgo before so that is comforting haha

Definitely! Confidence is the key! I'll practice before playing ranked games, if I don't not feel confident I don't jump into ranked games. I'd rather play poorly on casual than ranked games

at 2:17 that nade was actually useful, if he had switched position after throwing it, instead of repeaking the same angle, if he instead had gone to the pit window, he could have held like 3 different angles, and would never be caught slipping.
CT is all about getting in your opponents head, playing a different spot everytime someone pushes and pushing them if you see an oppurtunity or you dont have much to lose, it forces them to waste time clearing angles/waiting for pushes
ct inferno exactly is about beeing passive agressive or you lose :D
its a preaty easy fix for the positioning (early drop pit, not being in aps for longer/not getting info), but for confidence well that will probably take time. (this is what i got from seeing him play and hearing voo)

One thing to know in pit is you only need to watch entry way into the side if you play scare. They can't go behind you without be exposed to everyone from side to long and they cant clear pit first without molly it.

My strat for when i am doing really bad is play with an smg or shotgun for one round to get me a kill and get my mood up a bit, not something you can do often because you need a close angle to smg or shotgun but it helps your mood quite a lot
I do this sometimes as well, it kinda helps imo because you have to play a bit more aggressive with those to get something done, so on Mirage that often means I drop underpass and pop myself into an engagement there, or aps generally on Inferno.

hey voo, you talk about holding an angle a bit after peeking to catch someone potentially peek unpeeking, but wont that just lose you peekers advantage when they peek into youy while you are holding for a sec?
I play really often on german discord with other random person and most of the time they say "play passiv" or Camp on side.
But if i dont peek for Informationen we cant know what the enemies want do.
And if they rush us my mates always say stay more passive(if im on side)

i believe an easy fix to confidence isues is to use skins your favorite pro uses like using an ak-47 asiimov makes me feel like FURIOUSSS so i play better when i use one

you can sense the fear in his movement, in his peeks...
if anything shouldn't a horrible scoreline make you be willing to take more risks to try and have some form of impact or at least switch up your position? (my perception of that situation there)
That's what I do. I am not getting kills playing passively so let me play hyper aggressive and try get info and maybe catch them off guard and get some kills. Those kills boost my confidence and I can get back into the game.
Hi I'm good with awp and rifles but I'm scared to peek now I don't know when it actually started for example ( I used to peek mid and win 95% of duel's) now I just hold passive angles I don't know how to get my confidence back😣
Go onto 1v1 servers. It is a good way to practice duels. Now that there is now possibility of elo loss just aggressively peak everything until you get better at it. Worked for me. I played alot of 1v1s because my friends were bored of cs and I didn't feel like solo q ing. Now my playstlye is very aggressive because of all the aggressive aim duels I took in 1v1 servers
Peeking is really complicated because you need to know how to play that specific angle you're peeking into. Every angle is different. Some angles, you should expect or atleast know there's a possiblity of an awper (like peeking Ct from banana car in inferno). Others, you know there is probably not an awper.
This means the type of peeking you do will be different. You can crab walk peek(just crouch the whole time and peek) close angles and kill rifles but only in specific angles. And then some angles, you should just never peek at all. Then there are angles that you know are extremely hard to peek into, but 1 flash makes it into a really easy peek.
It's hard to explain everything but basically, just think about how the enemy will play the angle you are peeking into (if he is there) and counteract that. Like don't dry peek window mirage with a shit spawn for example. Everyone knows this example but doesn't apply this logic to other angles.
Also he has been straight up playing against a team with a wallhacker.

what if the Ts rush out every round and going through/smoking out mollies and stuff? once in a while there are games when this happens and as a ct it feels like you cant do anything about it (e.g. rushing out a main on train, rushing out mid on cache etc.). when i try to molly it they smoke it out instantly, when i convince my team to nadestack we get flashed into oblivion...
How do we punish this brain dead, dumb way of playing counter strike? it gets really tiring to see how the game rewards this playstyle, can you pls make a video about this voo?
if they're rushing you every round in the way you describe it, make sure your early mollies are accompanied by HE grenades, and if they're smoking mollies off then spam chokepoints (in addition to HE grenades).
@@aaaakun the thing is when im done throwing my molly and begin equipping my HE grenade, they come out during that small timing-window (most of the time with a flash, so i cant even throw my HE most of the time). the method described by you works a decent amount of the time (as it should), but sometimes there is that extra layer of stupidity (which is even more frustrating to lose to)

@@loljunmin1704 If you're already lined up for the molly, you should be able to throw a nade as well. You could also get a teammate to throw a counter flash just generally up and behind both of you so that at worst, everyone's blind. If they're consistently rushing through smoked mollies, spraying the smoke isn't a bad idea. You might also find it helpful to stack a site if this is happening a lot, at worst you guess wrong and have a ton of guys available for retake.

The opening commentary on his play is missing a lot. He played the pit position like, ironically, electronic does in modern times I.e. just staying in pit and holding the angle.
The smoke he threw was an attempted one way smoke.
Not defending the LEMs play but the commentaty kinda make it seems like random with no thought. Even the "panicky" comment was a bit leading. Not really true but gives more weight for the video.
I admit electronic's play was perfect in his positioning and the LEM's was umm not. But let's not make the LEM look like an idiot haha.

I'm a level 9 faceit player (close to 10 but solo queue is hard) and I was playing at 3am last week high as fuck and tired, played very poorly and we lost the map. One kid on my team wouldn't stop typing his shit talk calling me a fake 9...too broke for a mic I guess. Tried to explain everyone has bad games. Fast forward to 3 days later, he's on the other team and I remembered him. Dropped 45 frags and made sure to tilt this guy every round by talking shit in global chat. Love a good karma story
