KJ, along with the Clash, also the Jam, are my best teenage memories and I feel privileged to have had this music in my life. I had to edit this to include the Jam. In my 20’s however, Fugazi blew my head off! Thankfully the head reattached itself and I’m OK now, thanks for asking 😂
I wish I'd heard this version back when I first encountered the band back in 1983. 18-year-old me would have fucking loved this song. 56-year-old me still does.
I turn 56 on Wednesday. Brit from the eighties is amazed at how prescient kj were lyrically. New cold war, I am the virus, eighties... Jaz definitely has some inside information 😂😀☮️
What a fucking sound that bass makes. It still gets me that Youth was only nineteen when this was released (Big Paul was the eldest in the band at the grand old age of 21).
I need to hear this daily. I love what you did with Fred. We're still dancing for the big show, just outside the door. The music with images have a perfect chilling exhilaration.
As I have said...and others...This version is in our opinion..the better version. I like the album version...but its slower. This is more where KJ were going...more raw power..more frenzy..more energetic....more The Wait style. Pylon speed. Wouldnt this be the original version...since it came out before the album version? I'll take the original! A rockin song needs to rock. Not a million miles an hour...but this is a good rockin speed. But in the end...we all love both versions..lol
You did really a good job in chosing, rallenting, linking the 'moving pictures' with the music of this fabulous track (only got the LP, IMHO the single is more "punk", the LP version, more "metal"). How marvellous was the Post-Punk/Hard Wave style ? And "Follow the Leaders","Madness", from the 2nd KJ album? Then critics pretend to crown U2 as the best 1980s "ROCK" band...
keep coming back. This is THE version! Original! Came first! Too bad. Its rockin and dark and powerful. Stomping and marching! Driving! Not too slow.....just mmmm right! They should play it like this!
Killing humans is no joke; is a crime HATE VERBOTTEN WE REMEMBER NEVER AGAIN every time i find something unacceptable in the present this video helps explain well what kind of mistakes were made in the passed not to repeat them.. HATE VERBOTTEN
A lot of people have commented, on my news feed THIS VIDEO IS RACIST & UPSEPPTING TOWARDS CERTAIN PEOPLE.. I reply IT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW! AS IT DID THEN... ! If the folk don't like the video.... ... WHY FUCKING WATCH IT!??? LAUGH? I NEARLY BOUGHT THE VIDEO! 🤣🤡🤡🤡🎵
Agree - the dalek-style singing and sheer aggression of the album version seem more powerful and disturbing than the slightly sneery delivery here. Plus the coughing and retching are a bonus.
RIP, Geordie. KJ forever.
Sadly, this song remains as relevant as ever.

King Missle moments... 😊😮
My youth is coming back to me. Remembering how you were never gonna be another brick in the wall. And here we are all survivors and old
Coleman is one of the most raw people in the music industry. Like him or hate him, he kicks global arse.
..arse ~ haha
@@anylewynde5173 Old English, mate. Like the American "ass".
Like him or hate him ... either way h doesn't care very much.
just getting to know this band and gosh, I love them already. great stuff.
I envy you for your youth (supposedly ;)) and pity you for not having been able to see them live in the 80s. Great stuff indeed, enjoy.

The Mad Capsule Markets one is pretty grand.
Killing joke at their best. I prefer this version to the album version
Me too, prefer the Peel sessions version even more
Who’s here from 2024. Still relevant after all these years.
LAUGH?...he made his own Video ! (A damn good one at that )...thank you very much.

Great tune but flip it over and you have their greatest.
David Usher Qatar
PSSYCHE...With some 'Big Paul' Ferguson vocals .....or was it 'pig Youth' ?
@@andchat6241 It is indeed Paul who does the " Look At The Controler...." bit
Fantastic bass on Pssyche.
@@Problembeing I think with Youth they could have a great Funk-Dub sound ,eg 'Change', 'Tension, 'Primitive' etc
I havent heard this raw, almost breathless song for years......
Art in motion. I'm fucking bold - over by this musical masterpiece.

Went to see these the day Chas & Di got married can't remember the year but they were f***ig awesome. ... still are.
Amazing! This is for me better than album version.
It's the single version with "Psyche" b- side UNTOUCHABLE!😉
Killing humans is no joke; is a crime

WE REMEMBER NEVER AGAIN

HATE VERBOTTEN
love the video to this
Why did he suddenly go nuts at the bar? What move is that from. Looking for the wholw scene.
Best of the best . Got the album .
Going to see them in a small club tonight. Awesome! (single version is far better, btw. I still have it somewhere)
You've done a fantastic job on this video. Fred Astaire meets "Triumph of the Will" and more!
...plus hot commie chicks with AKs and support hose
Best version and great job with video
Cheers
Cracking video !!
Who'd have thought that Fred Astaire would have been a fan of the Joke?
He couldn't wait to get on a Kj picture cover....now wheres that broken clock ?

No worries,you just doing wonderful,
brilliant visuals = love it
2022 song
Killing it!!
remember this cnd trafalger square 1980
I would love to know what effect youth has on his bass on this song it just sounds so raw and brilliant way way better version than the album version
RIP Geordie 🔥
brilliant video
I would love to know what effect pedal Youth is using on this and Psyche.Or is it just the nasty sound of his sunburnt Rick
Beautiful
As others have said, the LP version is more superior. Still, a great song.
there they are. all going to the mall . fun times
Superb energy, superb!!!!!
The world keeps turning and nothing really changes apparently.
Another great tune
I guess the chorus might sound a little better in this version, but overall I'll definitely take the album version over this.
absolutely agree

The album version has the edge for me but only just. This version is just fine.
A WARDANCE!
sounds lightweight against the album version, colmans vocals have more menace and the white noise add something on the album
Magic 1980😋
I know the song since 1980 but the video is new for me,never to old to learn something new.
Cheer~~~a ceremonial dance performed before a battle or to celebrate victory.😅
Good stuff but imo album version better
Super !!!
Great song, great vid....too young to remember the Fred Astaire original.
Nirvana - Turnaround, wtf, looks like Kurt copied this.Just like he did with Eighties when he made Come As You Are.
Turnaround is a Devo cover, not a Nirvana original. Get your facts straight.
TheFuckingVicious You're right.Never heard the Devo song before.
They're both great, in my opinion
TheFuckingVicious Nothing wrong with borrowing from great music. War Dance and Flowers of Romance also have similarities.
Great tune used to play it at discos when I was a lad
Brilliant stuff.
Brilliant song
I love to see beautiful Asian women in uniform
Fight the techies! Free SF
for your pleasure WARDANCE , play VERY LOUD
The album version was the first time I ever heard this song and I like that version better than this-still a good song by
killing joke though....
Great version,bit new wave
Hubieran puesto a don Ramón tirando el sombrero en el coro 🤣👍
part of my sonic youth & hating everything they didnt agree with!!
I know this song for 40 years (LP version) but this video is new to me...so never to old to discover something new.
sounds like man should Surrender by pailhead
I love a woman in uniform 😂
Hey.....hot Asian chicks with AK's and support hose!

Goodbye cruel world
This great song was made 40 years, but it is still goodbye cruel world. It did not get any better.
