    This is amazing. Great sculpt and skills. So I purchased a iPad yesterday. I started sculpting. I am coming from a ZBrush ( 12 years) and Cintiq background. I have to say, I love it all But, I cant get over the drawing down on a table, and my neck soreness after a few hours. or hold the iPad up on my belly. on in front of me. Lol. I am use to drawing forward, on a flat. in font view way. like a painter on an easel...Hmmm. I feel like its amazing but, I think I may have to go back to ZBrush and the Cintiq. not sure if I can get into this.
    I also have had a herniated disc. in the neck aria. and I think being on a computer with head tilted down for years, had alot to do with it. I ended up raising my Cintiq higher and always eye level and things are good. Any thoughts on this.
    As much as I love the portability. Im not traveling all that much and not sure how often I'll sculpt deeply outside. I invested $2800 into the ipad and dont feel its worth it. for that reason alone. I do like the iPad. Well, Im confused on what to do. I have 14 days to decide.

    • @eric3dee
      @eric3dee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair enough- I can see how it could be tricky figuring out the right posture/positioning. For me it was the opposite in the sense that I am not bound to my desk. I like to recline, prop up a few pillows and settle in with the iPad. More like working in a sketchbook I suppose rather than an easel. It makes me wonder what other pro-level iPad artists do (like Kyle Lambert!)

    • @BrianLife
      @BrianLife 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @eric3dee well, the more in nomad, jaw drop blown away! Love the trim brushes! Wow. I’m on my bed now for the past hour. Not bad. It does kill the battery in like 1 hour of sculpting. Hmm. But I should break. Reminder. Stretch. Hmmm. I see harnesses out there. Like, around ribs, neck and all . Or even chest props to sit it on. Interesting. I’m on the fence now. It’s quite amazing. To jump from procreate to nomad and back! Could you paint bump or normal textures in PROCREATE, ?..not yet but I can see it soon. Since it does display them.

    I don't think so that you want to learned other people, you only want to show you skill to other people, that is not right, thanks for nothing.

      Sorry you feel that way. I am trying to improve my demonstration skills with each video. Some are certainly more in depth than others. The aim of this sort of video isn't to go step by step but rather to give insight into my workflows as best I know how.

    That's very cool. Is it obj? Can the 3d model be processed in zbrush?

    • @eric3dee
      @eric3dee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah- you can export from Nomad to OBJ or GLB. I do GLB so it retains vertex color, lights and other info. But you can definitely pull this into Zbrush.
