Todd you crack me up talking about how you don't want a light reel and that Hyper Mag is Lew's lightest reel, lol... You ain't wrong it is a Slick looking reel.... I have fished the original Tourney Pro"s for a decade plus and don't see a reason to buy new, they just work.
my hybrid hunter is so jacked it barely has any paint left on it and i still crack em' with it, its always tied on. The hybrid hunter is an incredible bait i use this exact setup except for the reel i use a super duty 300. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love a few of the new patterns! Thank you Strike King and appreciate the video Todd. Glad you guys continue to update the color selection on baits that have been around a minute. I know color isn’t the end all be all but up here in Northern IL. the bluegill patters work well. It’s a confidence bait for me love throwing it. How you feel about the new green pumpkin black blue color? Think they calling it no brainer which is also awesome.
I want to ask for your advice i fish from the bank and a 7'6 is going to be too long for me i would be hitting trees and every thing what size rod would you go with
The rod I've kind of settled on is the 7'4" Falcon Cara heavy cover jig rod... it's listed as a heavy fast but it's definitely on the lighter side and a bit more moderate in my opinion. I've tried several of Falcon's cranking rods, but it's hard to put enough heat on them to get them out or keep them from wadding you up in the grass. Great video as always keepem coming man!!!
Great color! I’ve especially been enjoying that Ghost Herring and Muh Knee shad colors lately. That Clearwater minnow is a champ over there in the strip pits on Dardenelle back home. They’re all great colors though honestly.
Over the years, going all the way to back to when it was the bubba, I've tried a handful of rods and the best I've found is the Loomis 904mbr.
Need more of these videos
