It’s not the worst performance, but that second goal that went 5 hole was just embarassing. So much momentum lost on such a weak shot. I don’t think it’s the biggest deal in the world that the game was lost, but it’s these little losses on loose pucks, open nets, and should-be-saves that have fans frustrated.

Watch the goal from Barclay Goodrow 2 nights ago, Sharks v Bruins, for a classic example. Also while 97 is chilling, play unit2 of the power play! Unit1 is temporarily broken.

Brown and Janmark are so difficult to watch this year. Just zero finishing ability. Bouchard is not nearly physical enough to be good defensively. Just plays so soft and the 2nd goal proved that he's not capable to protecting the front of the net
We technically can't trade or move Jeff Skinner without his approval but we can scratch him for the rest of the games up to the trade deadline and basically tell him if you don't accept a trade to where ever then you'll never see the ice again this year. With Skinner's numbers this year he should want a chance to stay relevant going into his next contract. Try to move him, even to Chicago and throw in draft picks, and get a guy like Jason Dickinson. It's in Jeff's own best interest to move on and try to show his value on the ice with a fresh start elsewhere. Would at least keep him on the radar rather than sitting out the rest of the season in Edmonton.

We know Nuge isn't a generational talent. Not every draft has Crosbys and McDavids in it. But he's a good player, solid defensively, and far from the problem with the Oilers. Pointing the finger at Nuge is pretty insane yeah so I can understand people disagreeing with your takes.
I would only be open to trading Bouchard if we got a deal too good to refuse. A young defensemen of equal or better value and a second line tier winger in exchange. It would have to be an old-fashioned Glenn Sather fleecing type of deal to let him go.

Skinner is nothing more than a good backup, he will never be a solid starter, his stats don't lie, he is almost the worst starter in the league
