DrTonyTonyChopper Hmm, in that case, which one would you recommend? I can do without the VOB, but which model looks best in your opinion? I'm not too much into the painting part of assembling these delicious things.
I wouldn't know which one looks better either because I don't own the regular release :( I would recommend you go with the regular version in that case. No VOB on it, also cheap and easier to find.
Where is part 2 of the vid? I just bought this thinking it was pre assembled, Ive never built one of these before and have no idea where to start. Do you have assembly videos? Also you are lucky that your parts became prepainted mine are all grey they arent pearl white like yours. I guess they have different versions and the newer versions werent painted
You might have the normal version of the kit without the V.O.B booster then, because all the parts in this one are pearl white. The only way to build this is following the assembly instructions included in the box, and unfortunately I don't have assembly videos either :( Kotobukiya kits are difficult even for experienced modelers, so I recommend building a Bandai model kit before this to get your feet wet.
Nope I got the complete one with VOB set. Its really odd Im seeing other videos out there on the market from Kotobukiya and they are all pearl white. I wonder if mine was a dud off the assembly line or if I had bad luck and got an older version from production where it was grey, the black pieces are fine its just all the white pieces they are grey not painted at all. Im so bummed about it now looks so much better now I have to find vids on how to cut the pieces nicely and how to paint them. Ive done kits before but they were pre painted
So, is the only difference between this one and the normal one the decals and the VOB?
The coating on this one is pearl also some parts are re-coloured. This version gives you both options though.

When cutting the armor off the gates are the marks that are left hard on the eyes or do they do a good job of hiding them?
There is discoloration with the nub mark areas, but they aren't that overly noticeable. You need to be looking for them to see them.
bought the indivial one and all the parts are what you can mix with other armored core kit
anyone know where I can get more tubing for the VOB?
Hi i want to see you review noblesse oblige next time
I'll try to get my hands on one :)
