- Let's get this clear. In order to be a better rally lead in war of wonders, you'd have to understand the basic dynamics between formations in Lords Mobile. Understanding that inf/rng/cav phalanx does not counter rng/cav/inf phalanx is the first step towards your journey to a respected rally lead.

I think you're actually gonna teach me on how to become a rally lead. My stats aren't the best but I've heard that the correct comps can win against higher stats. So I hope that your videos will help me achieve that ^^

Awesome content as always! By the way, im kind of a F2P and the only familiars I could afford are pact 3 stacking familiars and gryphon. Im not into war of wonders since im extremelly weak, but i am the main lead in my guild for dragon arena. Most of our oponents (90%+) dont have pact 5 and are not strong (probably less than 400-500% atk since most of them lost to me) and they use pact 3 too. So i was thinking that since pact 3 give us most of our attack if i see a player with gryphon and trickstar that uses ranged phalanx (assuming both of us use 111) probably infantry phalanx with gemming gremlim is not a bad option, because most of our attack stats will come from our frontlines plus i would get the damage mitigation and extra damage from counter. Havent tested myself to corroborate my theory though, but i was just wondering if it made sense
That's possible assuming the opponent has cav atk the lowest in mix stats. However, you'd probably need inf shield as well because the enemy cav will do a lot of damage when buffed by gryphon.

Once in a live stream Worthy Prince told me to use ranged wedge and anti scout when i go offline without a shield and since then I've never been burned.

I going to give my 2 cents on this topic. When you go mono type troop you lose against the counter phalanx for obvious reasons. However, in mix your single troops type constitute a certain % of the whole comp. In the example of inf phalanx vs range phalanx, in the first 10 sec both sides delivered the same damage because one side have inf countering rng, the other side have CAV countering inf. As both fronts are reducing there are less inf hitting less rng while the Cavs are intact, therefore inf damage reduces in % while CAV damage on inf is still intact. It will results in more damage inflicted by the rng phalanx side as time advances. When I say to the other ralliers in my guild that to win in 848 vs 848 you must use the countered phalanx they are always surprised because it seems counterintuitive, but that's exactly how it works in mixed comp. Obviously the stats, familiars and hero comp may alter this mechanism. For example the front line can be whipped out. However, it depends on how much time it takes to be destroyed. For instance, if the rng side has a lot of hp, the front line can be destroyed around 30/35 sec of battle, leaving the Cavs being hit by the opponent Cavs and rng, but with so few seconds left, they would not turn the results in favor of the inf phal side. Conversely, if the rng side has very few hp and the Frontline get destroyed soon (let say within the first 20 secs), the Cavs would be targeted by enemy rng and Cavs and this would turn the result in favor of the inf side. This is why you also need hp in your stats. People are still looking at hp as a superfluous stat compared to attack, however they are very important, especially in mix comp. The problem is that people looks at the stats as they do the same thing, however hp has a different function from attack: one allow your troop to take more damage before die the other inflict more damage to your opponent.
Very insightful and I agree with everything. And post-frontline dynamics of formations are what I'm gonna start discussing when people get a better grasp on the basic dynamics.

Not only am I trying to learn the ins and outs of wonder fighting but teach my guild at the same time and having a tool like this we can go over together would really help for visuals and also because we are newer kingdom so our wonder fights are with 2 million reinforcements compared to the 4 million in the models.

I have a question.
So, ranged phal counters inf phalanx.
Cav phal sorf of counter ranged phalanx.
Inf phalanx counter cav phalanx.
But what about heroes?
In one of your videos you said that for using specific type of troops as a frontline you need to use 2 heroes for that troop type.
So, if you use 122 comp, then wouldnt that mean you cant use inf phal?
The rule in this video in general one and the heroes are a few of the many exceptions that you should be aware of individually on top of the general rule. That said, the rule in this video holds regardless of heroes. Heroes come to matter usually when your formation and the opponent formation is the same. It depends on the combination of formation between you and your opponent.
You can certainly use inf phal with 122 heroes when it's appropriate as long as there's no change in the retargeting compared to other hero comp, but it's just that the damage inf can do would be a bit less.

The squad attack what heroes do, does it work like pact5?
Meaning, they will deal the same dmg with or without a counterboost?
I know that the stats and the size of squad affects its, but I dont know if counter boost too or not.
@@xmarcusx3988 hero Squad atk works just like normal attack that a squad does. It's just the damage is double the normal squad atk. So it's under the influence of counter stats and normal relationship among troop types.
And yes I'm currently very busy and cannot log in very often.
What about inf in range planix where they will attack?
inf attacks the squads in the opposing frontline directly in front of them, specifically, the squads at both ends.
