People who hate it have serious issues hate is a very very strong word that should be reserved for things that actually matter, this movie was a bad Terminator movie, a strong action movie and a sad one because it literally is Arnold’s last goodbye.
This is a homage to Arnold's final outing as the Terminator. It shows the how potentially deadly his character is, but also how potentially good he is to us. In both ways, his character has stoke our hearts for 30+ years and we will remember this in the end of his days. Goodbye, My Old Friend. For Arnold.
So this means that Arnold will never return, I mean makes sense because he was the last T800 but even if they make a sequel you cannot have a terminator movie without Arnold maybe even a cameo
I don't think it's his final outing though, no one has stated that, not even Arnie. But apparently he had to do heart surgery or something around the time of filming this, so it could unofficially end up being his last Terminator film
in every terminator moment there is the moment we need to say goodbye to the T800.. The music that goes along side it is pretty much always the best part of the movie soundtrack.. Genisys had a great soundtrack and also a good goodbye moment..but this one id say after T2 this one takes the cake now... more so because u realize that this was..the last time we will see arnie as the terminator..no official new has been brought out..but he damm well said it in the movie..this time..he wont be back.. so while listening to this song..Give thanks to arnie..and his amazing performance..
Maybe he will be in Terminator Resistance in future dlc :) The game actually turned out to be very good ! Don't listen to the bullshit mainstream critiques. Watch GmanLives review for example.
that's not necessarily true for a few reasons -in T3 John said he had died in T2, but Arnie said truthfully when John said "what, you just come off of assembly lines" he replied "yes" which explains how he has appeared in many timelines and dates -most of the time they don't say they're doing a sequel until a bit later. Seeming this terminator was about as much of a flop as genisys, if they're going to do a sequel, it'll be a bit later when they say that -saw an article where Cameron rightfully said 'it's just not terminator without arnie,' meaning, if he can, he will bring him back somehow. Arnie has been in every one of the terminators, except in T4 he was CGI only but saying that, I also read that Arnie said he might not be able to do another one, because he has likely got too old now, and during the filming of this one, I think had to get some sort of heart surgery? He was emotional at the end of this scene, as he thought this might very well be the last time he gets to play the terminator as well due to health and ageing, and its one of his favourite roles
Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The terminator, would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die, to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.
I cried when he said "For John". Thank You Arnold for being the most iconic character in one of our favorite movie franchises. In my book, he'll always be back.

Been a terminator fan for over 20 years and this one deserves respect
Do you think Sarah forgave Carl? She seemed pretty sad looking down at burning remains and she said something like, “We not machines.” To the Rev9
5:54 The part where he starts burning and his final line:
"For John"
I really want to see a sequel of this bcause this is the real succesor of T2!
i love this music at 5:12 it seemed to me that this was arnold to say goodbye to being part of the terminator franchise for so long, you'll always be back.
5:59 When I play the game The Last of Us Part 2 after killing Abby’s friends I say to myself. For Joel!
Too bad they didn't even give you the choice to kill Abby.
Arnold (T-800)
The best terminator ever
And my favorite terminator of all movies
👍
"I'll be back"
IT WAS AWESOME AND SAD SOUNDTRACK THIRD BEST SCORE IN TERMINATOR FRANCHISE
i love this movie!!!!
I love how they build the Terminator theme up and up but never finish with the crescendo because they know it would set everyone off 😭
5:31 a bit of terminator music there
He attack
He protect
But the saddest of all is
.
.
.
He won't be back.
Idc what everyone says I enjoyed this movie!
Same here! God, it was amazing
Compared to the other crappy sequels, this one did T2 justice.
@@Jalebi_waala you can say that again! It did all of the characters justice. Including John and I wasn't mad.
@@kimberlygaugh4085 agreed, it was a good story but i kind of feel like it should of been sarah conners story more than Dani's. I wanted to see more of sarah connors emotional journey through the years after losing her son. But the "for john" part got me bad, it was that emotional connection that i felt since i watched T2.
@@Jalebi_waala totally get what you mean about Sarah but they were in a tough position since they had to set up Dani, Grace, Sarah, Carl, etc. But I agree that we could've had more emotional moments with Sarah. For John and the beginning scene got me good. Also, when she talks about the lack of a photograph.
I liked this movie and I disregard all the negative critics.
I really don’t understand like why do people hate this movie like it’s a hell spawn that shit off a bridge over a freeway, and to the point that they just self decanonize this movie from the lore(like that’s gonna work)
@@studior2962 Because dark fate didn't bring anything new. It was all the same we saw in T1 and T2 with faces and names changes and few plot holes. Bad movie and disrespectful to Sarah Connor character (she never felt as a womb for her son :/), disrespectful to T-800 (seriously? Joking terminator? Having family? They could get anything more lame, couldn't they?) and disrespectful for story of T1 and T2 because events from these two movies just doesn't matter. In dark fate John Connor doesn't matter, destroying Cyberdyne in T2 doesn't matter, Kyle's mission and sacrifice in T1 doesn't matter because they didn't achieve anything.
And because all of those dark fate is terrible and very lazy written movie. Action is good, but Terminator was never only about action.
Olagfigh Jee it’s almost like it’s a Terminator movie or something
@@studior2962 Nope. T1 and T2 are different and have different stories. It will be waste of time to point it out for you, but maybe someday you will see it
I cried when I watched this scene, I cried as if I didn't have these 28 years and I'm an eight-year-old boy who watches the T2 final scene and cries and cries and cries ...
For Arnold and his multiple T-800 performances
As much as many people loved arnold it is a shame to see him go to robotic heaven
Unfortunately he "will not be back."
R.i.p 1984 - 2021
:'( goodbye Arnold.
Decided to The Terminator Franchise 1984-2019
Goodbye Arnold no matter what timeline your in your still the terminator we all know and love and you have completed your mission
6:58 breaks my heart :((
Rest In Peace uncle bob and carl you were human to me ✌🏻
At 5:32 that part always reminds me of the picture the T-800 letting go and falling into the silo chamber to kill the Rev-9. A machine that had more humanity than a human.
6:00 is the best part.
For John....

Great movie!
