I've definitely gotta dig deeper into Public Enemy! I had no idea they were even still around, let alone as prolific as they have been! Eddie mentioned a riff on the song "Yesterday Man" and I had to check it out. That riff is a sample of one of my favorite bands of all time, the almighty CLUTCH! The song/riff they sampled is called "Animal Farm" from Clutch's 1995 self-titled record. I'd be eternally grateful if one day you fellas cranked and ranked Clutch! Tim Sult is a riff god and they're without a doubt one of the most underrated rock bands of the past 30 years!
I agree with all of these bottom half selections being bottom half. However, one I would move down would be Yo! Bumrush the Show... it was too raw and not enough bangers for me.... But Muse Sick, Greatest Misses, and a few others I would have down this low. Based on what is listed here, I can't wait to see how the top half ends. IMO, It Takes a Nation and Fear of a Black Planet are top 2 in whatever order or a tie LOL. I'm a fan of He Got Game. Apocalypse '91 was pretty strong. The album "featuring Paris" was pretty solid.
yay another episode to listen to while I am bored at work
