The guy that plays Nacho kills this role. He really is the 1st Jessie Pinkman in some ways. I hope Hollywood sees what is doing and gives him some major/leading roles. I know I can't wait to see him as Scorpion in the Spiderman films.

This wasn't easy for Nacho. No one wants to go to jail. But in a way it was a win-win situation. If he succeeds then he earns Lalos respect, which helps with Gus. If he gets caught then he's out of the game, which gets him off the hook.

I love how lalo tries to "fake" stop him from getting the drugs and then watches on like its entertainment... even tho shows some admiration at the end; this scene shows his calousness. He didnt expect anyone to grab the drugs, but he wasnt going to stop anyone trying...
I think he sees something from himself in Nacho, i mean by now we know that Lalo is a man of action, the climbing up into the ceiling, jumping down on cars etc. Nacho doing the same kinda stunts here. I think deep down Lalo really appreciate people that take action.

When I watch Dalton portray Lalo, I imagine him in a Western as the anti-hero. Imagine! Him playing El Hombre sin Nombre, in the vein of Clint Eastwood, but with more humor.
I love how despite how bad these people are, killing others for personal gains, hurting and causing suffering to the world, they have one redemable thing. The love for familly and family bonds. Nacho does what he does not for money or fame, but to save his father. His love for his dad makes him risk everything so that he can gain Lalo's trust and please Gus who earlier this episode threatened to have his dad killed One of the reasons breaking bad and saul is so good, is because the villains aren't cartoonishly evil characters, but actually relatable human beings, showing that any of us can become bad if given into temptation of wealth and power
This is one of the few times it seems Lalo shares a genuine, honest admiration for another character in the series, in a clear way, when he calls Nacho a badass for retrieving the dope. In almost all of Lalo’ scenes, his charm always seems so deceitful, whether the characters are aware of his intentions or not. I think at this point Nacho was doing this for his father and on Gus’s orders. Regardless, this is a great example of how Nacho climbs the ladder in route to his next chapter of betrayal to the Salamanca family. Great scene
Can we all just appreciate nacho's facial expressions? I understand that it was how it was supposed to be, less dialogue more expressions and he does this on point! Especially when his face is all glistening with sweat due to all the tension and Parkour he did before entering the car. Same at the end of season 5 where he tries to give the gunners a way in by lighting a pan on fire. You can feel the tension build up right on his face!
That's an aspect that I really enjoy about Nacho. He's very quiet. Even in scenes in which he's talking to someone else, he tends to say more with less. He's similar to Mike in that way, albeit that Mike more often maintains a gruff, confident demeanor whereas Nacho is more tightly wound.

Also, I disagree about every moment counting, there’s a lot of moments in season 1 and 2 where people just sit in silence lmao plus, the moments that are ‘unnecessary’ in BCS are usually light hearted in some way and make us feel even more for the characters (particularly Jimmy/Kim)
@@edhiepitz better call saul may be more well "executed" in a way (more consistent quality cinematography from season 1 to now, in breaking bad due to the budget was worse in the first few seasons in this regard; bts is better written in a way as well, the characters get more time to develop, breaking bad was slightly more fast paced) but breaking bad will always be the better show for one very simple reason: the concept. showing the caring family man highschool teacher become an impulsive violent figure in the drug world is way more captivating than anything going on in better call saul. it has nothing to do with the execution, bts far exceded our expectations in how good it was going to be, but by default it could never be better than the original show

Nacho should've gotten caught on purpose. He spends a couple of months in prison and his father is safe. After that he could move somewhere else and live a new life with all that money he made

He will be locked up for a couple of months (he will influence the duration of his incarceration with the amount of the not reported money )in another time zone where Gus and the Salamancas have no jurisdiction. Lalo and Gus, are smart enough to know that if they kill his dad for no reason, then Nacho will cooperate with the government and Hanks employer. When Nacho gets out, he will be able to get a fresh start as long as he doesnt return to Mexico and New Mexico.
What's funny is when I first started watching this show, I only saw Vaas. But now, he does such a great job as Nacho that I forget he was in Far Cry 3.
From his days playing Voss I knew Micheal Mando is a phenomenal actor and he is destined for great roles I hope after this he gets the roles that would propel him to roles that can put his great acting to use
It's a cliche comparison, but this scene felt very GTA-esque. I'm just imagining it a few years before the events of GTA V, Franklin in Nacho's position and Lamar in Lalo's position.
If Nacho got caught, he'd probably go to prison (maybe Saul would get him out, maybe not). He'd be free from the Fring-Salamanca War and his father would be safe for a few years.
The guys in the back are really scared and serious for Nacho while Lalo is joking, laughing and enjoying the show (he well knows Nacho is gonna pull it off)

Nacho should've gotten caught on purpose. He spends a couple of months in prison and his father is safe. After that he could move somewhere else and live a new life with all that money he made

@@Reshme77 he intentionally commits tax evasion in another state by buying real estate and not reporting every revenue and gives the IRS an anonymous tip about himself so gets on their radar. He will be locked up for a couple of months (he will influence the duration of his incarceration with the amount of the not reported money )in another time zone where Gus and the Salamancas have no jurisdiction. Lalo and Gus, are smart enough to know that if they kill his dad for no reason, then Nacho will cooperate with the government and Hanks employer. When Nacho gets out, he will be able to get a fresh start as long as he doesnt return to Mexico and New Mexico.

It's a cliche comparison, but this scene felt very GTA-esque.
I'm just imagining it a few years before the events of GTA V, Franklin in Nacho's position and Lamar in Lalo's position.

Nachos acting makes every scene where there’s a close counter super intense.
If Nacho got caught, he'd probably go to prison (maybe Saul would get him out, maybe not). He'd be free from the Fring-Salamanca War and his father would be safe for a few years.
More likely Gus would see no more use in him and have him killed as a loose end.

Never understood why Nacho did this. It was a handful of small bags,maybe grams. Not really a big deal. I used to keep a 7 chopped up to 20s in my watch box back in the day. U can get fourteen 20s out of a 7. I wouldn't risk it.
