Давайте ещё раз послушаем это место, он здесь на одном дыхании берёт супер высокую ноту и поёт дальше не меняя дыхания...ВАУ! Не знаю сколько секунд это длилось, но это было неимоверно долго! При этом это были не только высокие ноты и красивые пассажи нот, это всё страшно трудно вот так потрясающе исполнить! ВАУ! Нет слов! ...Прекрасно! ВАУ! Потрясающе!.. Теперь я понимаю почему вы так массово и настойчиво просили меня проанализировать его! Димаш феноменальный не только технически, умеющий абсолютно контролировать свой голосовой инструмент. Точно также он координирует своё дыхание, вибрато, резонанс и всевозможные комбинации разных элементов. Мне нравится, что он, имея экстраординарные природные данные и вокальную технику, подкрепленные конечно талантом, не хочет быть просто жонглером. Как настоящий музыкант он демонстрирует глубочайшую выразительность, музыкальный интеллект, да, его ум позволяет ему совершать уникальные вещи, поэтому я могу назвать его великий Димаш! Thank you for such an intelligent reaction to our wonderful Dimash, he is university trained to degree level in Classical Opera, also pop and Jazz vocals, and a Masters in Composition. He has had vocal lessons since the age of 5 and ongoing, he is 25 years old, but 24 in this video. He is also a multi instrumentalist. He was offered a place at the Astana opera in his native Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path in contemporary, folk and neo classical styles. behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the
same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart
attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash
revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental
Arab technique, is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist!

I'm not a voice coach but my observations were just like the voice coach!!! What blows me away is how Dimash can change his range, mid verse, beginning, anywhere!! That last part, he didn't take a breath for about one minute!!! Who does that!!! That's incredible!!!! Nobody else is as good, no, as GREAT as Dimashi!!! Bravo Dimash!!

Dimash is unlike any other singer I have ever heard. He effortlessly moves within genres and octaves in his songs, but more importantly, he always sings from his heart. He is humble and hardworking, always striving to perfect and evolve for his audience. Each of his songs leave you with something different. Oh yes 😊 He has many songs in Italian 😊❤ He loves the Italian music and language (and adores Pavarotti and Bocelli). For Ogni Pietra I absolutely recommend the fan cam version (of his performance at his Arnau concert), all voice teachers prefer that one 😊 HD close-up of his face, so you can really see his embouchure (and you can listen to it without any post production). Other songs of him in Italian: Passione, Ti Amo Cosí (with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian), Ulisse (duet with Aida Garifullina), Confessa, Il Dolce Suono, Giamaica, Brucia la Terra, hmm and "Question of Honor" is partly in Italian 😊 and he sang a medley including O Sole Mio. Wonderful review. I love Dimash. He has the voice of an angel and looks like of a Greek God yet he has not allowed it to go to his head.

I'm not sure which I enjoyed more, hearing Dimash sing again or your Italian. Such a beautiful language! I'm not a singer, for the sake of anyone or anything with ears, but I notice all the little things in a performance and really enjoy when vocal coaches point them out and explain what exactly is going on. By the way your English pronunciation when you sing is amazing. I could not distinguish you from an English speaker. Dimash is worth listening to, and no matter how many other people have reacted to him his fans always want more reactions! This young man has a very interesting history and has been taking voice lessons since he was 5 years old. that is 20 years! This is most probably the most in-depth technical analysis of Dimash I have ever seen. Thank you soo much! You are such a professional and also very likeable at the same time. I really enjoyed this a lot. And I'm extremely impressed that you were able to explain how he does those Eastern style fast onsets (Dimash's father was asked about it once and according to him it's an ethnic Yacutian riff (but Dimash did it faster than usual)), and that you could even demonstrate it yourself! most voice teachers didn't know how it is exactly done, and no one was able to demonstrate it in the video. Thank you sooo much for your excellent analysis. Please also analyze Dimash's SOS (link in the comments), it's his most popular song, and this is also his first performance on Singer, the Chinese talent show he became internationally known with 3 years ago when he was 22.

I believe his signature piece is "SOS" but this piece has the very special vocal effect which is amazing as well. His name Ku day ber gen off. This is the usual sound heard when he is announced.

When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤
That’s a cool experience you shared. I’m about a week into Dimash, and he’s just crazy. It’s not something I would play without watching, if that makes sense. Dimash empezo a estudiar musica desde los 5, en ese video, tenia 22 ahora tiene 25. canta en 9 idiomas, toca 7 instrumentos, es de Kasajistan. su rango vocal es de 6 octavas . Me encanta tu analisis. saludos desde Mexico ❤❤❤❤

In quel punto da te citato, trattiene il respiro per 22 secondi, cosa che ci ha lasciati tutti basiti.. 😳
Se permetti ti racconto una storia molto bella:
a fine estate stavo guardando alcuni video di bravi imitatori musicali finché casualmente sono incappato in Dimash: bene, io ho cantato per anni polifonia barocca e rinascimentale, lirica e jazz e perciò ho sviluppato uno spirito molto critico nei confronti della musica. Appena sentito Dimash, sono rimasto sconvolto ed è diventato come una droga.. Questo ragazzo ha un'estensione di 6 ottave più una nota: da C2 (baritono registro) a D8 (registro fischio) che non è neppure presente sulla tastiera del pianoforte..
Bellissima la tua analisi così dettagliata di ogni singola parte del brano: ne ho viste centinaia di reazioni da parte di vocal coaches di tutto il mondo ma la tua mi risulta esser la migliore: complimenti 👏👏👏

Bravo Roberto. You are the first that I have heard to identify and name that asian warbling sound that is so fresh and unique to some ears. The original Sinful Passion was performed by A Studio (the gentlemen that accompanied Dimash in this performance). Dimash has recently released Ogni Pietra, a song written and composed for him by Russian composer Igor Krutoy. Ogni Pietra highlights Dimash's classical training.
Dimash has been in vocal and musical training since the age of 5, so 20 years. He sings in 12 different languages, plays 7 different instruments, composes and writes songs. I've been following him for almost 3 years and he just keeps getting better.

even though i had to read it in english, yours is the most accurate and interesting assessment of dimash's skillset and prowess using it. usually voice teachers are too gobsmacked to say more than wow, which of course you too said, but correctly among other things, noted the origins of that glottal stop technique. i have heard it called throat singing. i can't wait to see you reaction to some of his more ambitious works.

Poi ti consiglio vivamente di farti una carrellata di ascolti dei tanti brani di questo ragazzo che sembra un alieno. Resterai sicuramente a bocca aperta!
Ci sono diverse cover in cui trasforma degli splendidi brani in capolavori assoluti, interpretando meglio dei cantanti originali e tu questo sai che non è facile quando l'orecchio dell'ascoltatore è ormai abituato ad associare un timbro.
Io in 57 anni non ho mai sentito nulla del genere! 6 ottave di copertura con controllo assoluto, tenore, baritono, soprano, pop, opera, rock, potenza, sensibilità, emozionalità, presenza scenica, questo ragazzo non ha limiti. Sta facendo impazzire i vocale coach di tutto il mondo.

Que bueno que te pidieron esta reacción porque te permitió conocer a Dimash Kudaibergen, quien efectivamente, no nació ayer como cantante; él lleva estudiando canto lírico y varios instrumentos de manera profesional desde hace 20 años (tiene 25 años); sinembargo, decidió no quedarse en la ópera y se orientó hacia el canto contemporáneo; las traducciones de entrevistas en kazajo y ruso dicen que es crossover, neoclásico. Pero creo que has hecho la mejor reacción a Dimash, porque tú si eres especialista en esa técnica de fusión pop, ópera, música tradicional, es decir: Mezcla.
Posdata: DK está haciendo su Doctorado en su país, y creo que tiene mucho que ver con la cátedra que impartes en la IVA. Creo que es un grande, sólo le falta difusión...

Thanks Roberto for all your input and analysis Dimash knows every technique in the book and more. He has great genetics both parents are award winning vocalists.. We would love to here more analysis on Dimash and his vocal acrobatics. Every song he performs is different he becomes the character and after 5 seconds the song ends he becomes the Humble Shy guy again :)

Grazie per questo bellissimo ed estremamente competente video su Dimash Kudaibergen. Unico! sono d'accordo con lei, anche il riferimento a Demetrio Stratos è più che giusto, certo gli Area erano avanguardia pura quindi si faceva più fatica a godere della tecnica vocale di Stratos, non parliamo poi dei suoi lavori solisti in cui esplorava il suono della voce umana solo per amore dell' arte e della ricerca musicale da vero antropologo musicale quale è stato. Ascolto musica da 40 anni, vocalisti soprattutto E. Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Barbra Streisand, Maria Mckee, ma anche il canto bifonale di Sainkho Namtchylack o quello gutturrale e splendido di Angelique Kidjo, e ancora Cesaria Evora, Gino Vannelli, Bobby McFerrin, Manhattan Trasfer, Take6 etc etc ma NESSUNO, secondo il mio orecchio, ha le qualità straordinarie di questo fenomenale cantante. Temo solo che la sua bravura possa far paura ad artisti ed impresari in occidente dato che tra lui e tutti gli altri ci sono svariati anni luce di qualità musicale...
