Excellent video. I’m an American, Bonatti was one of the greatest to ever do it. Truly inspirational in his ethics as well.

I am currently reading Bonnati's book, The Mountains Of My Life, translated into English by Australian doctor, Robert Marshall. I'm an Australian. Bonnati is a hero, I am enthralled by his achievements. I truly love this man.
He is definately one of the greatest mountaineers of all time, if not THE GREATEST, and a wonderful, courageous, inspirational, beautiful man, so incredibly handsome too (I have a special love for Italy, Italians, Walter certainly was a very charming and good looking fellow 😊💕)
Thank you for this wonderful video about this truly great man. Enjoyed it very much 🙏

I've read many books about K2. Walter Bonatti was robbed of his glory. I found it as one of the saddest stories in mountaineering history as it led to a lot of controversy. Exploration is supposed to build bonds and make others better, but due to the golden age of Himalayan mountaineering it was nothing but a race. However, I loved how Walter found new ways to explore. He was still finding new routes that was eventually named after him, as well as many other first ascents. I felt that his accomplishment of Gasherbrum IV was by far in much better style than K2, as it was more dangerous and challenging. He never gave up, and continued to excel in what he loved to do.

Thank you very much for your comment! Bonatti is certainly a great mountaineer but an even greater model of cultural entrepreneurship and intellectual audacity. Even through his dignity has been restored, his human journey went much beyond his mountaineering feats. Thanks again and I'm glad you enjoyed the episode!

He’s so strong! I found out about him from hearing about the Mount Blanc tragedy. I want his book so bad. Maybe when I can afford it! RIP Walter Bonatti. At least he’s reunited with his best friend, Andrea Oggioni.

This is the third or fourth time watching it and i'll keep doing it. The metaphors used to describe entrepreneurship from a philosophical point of view are truly inspiring Luca. Many thanks for this episode. If you don't mind I'd like to use it as an inspiration for my PhD dissertation introduction.
