i got the 13 back when it released and I am still totally happy with it! It works great and still manages to feel like a new phone somehow. Like every time I use it, I am having a good experience. The only thing I noticed a slight change in is battery life, but that is simply to be expected. Nevertheless, I can still use the 13 for a whole day of university / work with hours of watching videos / studying / using maps etc. and still have 30-40% left after a 13~14h day.
Still, I am probably going to get the 16 next year! (I really want a plus and a 120hz display at this point) But even that might feel almost unnecessary considering how great the phone still works tbh haha

Same, 13 is still a beast after 2 years. I am considering upgrading the 15 plus though just because I want that bigger screen and the battery life is a monster, but only if I can sell the 13 for a good price. Was going to wait till 16 but might move earlier.

Yeah I’m in the same boat, got the 13 shortly after it came out and done ~need~ an upgrade but want the hell out of the pro models with the 120hz display. Battery is good enough and it’s really something I only want, not need, but I do have some justifications:
1. I need more storage, 128gb is good but I’d like to not worry about it and have to remove my photos and videos as I am now.
2. USB’c makes simplifies things.
3. Extra battery life as stated earlier
4. Better cameras
5. Bigger screen
I know nobody needs to read this I’m kind of just listing it out for myself lol, and now that I look at it, I really do not need an upgrade, just my ass thinking with my emotions again.

it really depend if you multi task more than 2-3 app at a time constantly changing 6gb ram is noticable but if not then there literary no differences

I have the iphone 8 and upgrading to the 13 soon. I find that my phone works fine, my dad owned it for about 4 years and I have had this phone for about a year. I find that phones can last longer than your saying. The only thing is the battery life will become shorter overtime but that's the only problem. The 15 may have a longer lifespan but it's the same as the 13, just some minor differences. It's just the fact that the new phones from apple are getting more and more expensive. (like the iphone 15 is almost 2000$ for me.)

as another ip 8 users for 5 years now. Except from my poor usage, it really hold up really damn good. I could stretch for another year and get a discounted ip 15, but really considering ip15 (mostly for USB-C and longer software support for me.
I miss the days where there were huge differences in upgrades like 4s to 5, 5s to 6

my reason to upgrade from 13 to 15 was the modem. often problems with Wifi Call and bad connection. Today i compared both and ....... 15 had worse test results
Phones should get updates for at least 5 years. But the phone will last much longer than that. I have an iPhone 6 that still does basic phone stuff.

Hardly any difference in the performance between both phones. What matters is the battery life for both.

up to you, no major difference between them. if ur 13 is working well with no issues, why not save money and keep it? u can save that money for the future when ur 13 breaks etc.

that notch makes the 13 look terrible otherwise they are the same phone. They should have given dynamic island to every iphone from 13 series. The samsung S series also took time to peak but note 20U was way ahead of its time in terms of design.

To be honest iPhone 13 is the better buying phone.. the only difference is features which the only two I care about is the frosted back & Dynamic Island … not worth the upgrade to me though
