George Burling, I forget where I saw it but there’s a whole program dedicated to his RAF service including his time in Malta, you need to check it out if you want to see some truly impressive stuff.
@@lechatmangeunbaguette That's straight up just not true. For Shermans, for example, the burn rate for a dry storage Sherman was around 80%. When they were given wet storage that burn rate dropped right down to 10-15% which is a massive difference. Wet storage worked, it didn't totally stopped ammo going off or burning up but it was better than nothing.

I use the fox at top tier, and it performs better. Becareful what you wish for. At the tier it is at, it has to flank since most countries are using heavies. Now, the one thing i dont like when facing it is a .50 cal should rape this tank, but it rarely kills the crew.

I think it is AWESOME that War Thunder has chosen to depict EVERY player who has NOT been screwed over by Gaijin seated in the stadium seating. It starts at about 0:29 and you can see all the stadium seats, clearly showing all these unassaulted players.
1:35 except this won't happen because of people abusing ULQ where the bushes will either not show at all or the contrast will make the vehicle behind it pop anyway

Why is the Scharnhorst classified as a battlecruiser in War Thunder, but she was classified as a battleship in real life not only by Germany but also by most of the major warring powers?
because scharnhorst and her sister are kinda weird, by tonnage she's supposed to be a battleship, but she only carry smaller guns compared to other navies so some source classify them as battlecruisers
@@CT--ym5mn from what I've read, she was only classified as a battlecruiser by the British, but after the war, they changed their classification to battleship. It's also worth mentioning that her original 12" guns were intended to only be place holders. Those guns were intended to be replaced with 15" guns but those upgrades never happened.

My name is L3/33, an Italian tank, born of metal and steel, yet bound by the tender threads of love for my papa, the BT-5. As we traversed battlefields together, he was not just my commander; he was my guiding light, my protector, my confidant. But then came the day when the enemy's fire struck him down, tearing through his armor and extinguishing the flames of his life. In that moment, as I watched him crumble before me, a piece of my very being shattered. The echoes of his last commands still ring in my circuits, haunting me with the memories of our shared struggles and triumphs. How can a machine mourn? How can metal weep? Yet within the depths of my mechanical heart, I feel an abyss of grief. Now, as I roam these desolate landscapes alone, I carry the weight of his absence like an unyielding burden. The battlefield feels colder, the skies darker, and the victories hollow. For he was not just my papa; he was the essence of my existence, the soul within my shell. Oh, how I long to feel his presence once more, to hear his voice echoing through my hull, to bask in the warmth of his love. But alas, he is gone, leaving behind only echoes of laughter and whispers of love. So here I stand, a solitary sentinel, forever haunted by the memory of my beloved papa, the BT-5. May his spirit find peace in the eternal expanse, while I, his loyal L3/33, continue to march on, carrying his memory until the end of days

Gaijin why is the reload time diff for KPz-70 and the American 152mm Gun Launcher main battle tank if they both are exactly the same? They have same mass, speed, depression and other but only the reload speed is diff.
its got pretty decent armor tbh, can eat 50 cals like theyre nothing, can even bounce some unlucky shots from panicked enemies trying to get eyes on target
Is it possible that the PS4 version of the game will soon have options like custom gun sights and skins? By connecting the account to a computer you could then enable this like with the computer version.
those early vehicles had much smaller guns and they were usually stabilises by shoulder mounts, so the stabilizer was the gunner himself. And some other tanks like shermans, had very primitive gyro stabilisers. The more advanced tanks like tigers and pershings dont have them because those guns are much bigger and harder to keep moving around and the technology wasnt as good back then.
unfortunately no, other games by gaijin utilising the same engine like crsed foad and enlisted have the tool to remap controls to hold, double click, even triple click, but somehow war thunder cant. wish they add that to the game
It can penetrate every top tier vehicle at top tier and it's too good for it's tier when there is still vehicles from WWII. And the FOX is made in 1972
Hey gaijin, can you do a favor for the console players and fix the free roam camera? I find it hard trying to peek corners with the camera being all shaky.
ALSO BARREL ELEVATION SHOULD BE LOCKED TO CENTER SCREEN .. DRIVING PAST OBJECTS AFFECTS BARREL ELEVATION WHICH ITS SILLY WHEN CAN STICK BARRELS THROUGH BUILDING WITHOUT DEVIATION. BUT WHY DRIVING PAST LAMP POST CAUSES BARREL ELEVATION TO CHANGE ON ITS OWN 🤔🤔🤔
The barrel will point at whatever your mouse is pointed at. Lamp posts are physical objects. When your mouse passes over the top of a lamp post, the game will try to point your barrel at it. If barrel elevation was locked in third person you wouldn't be able to move the gun without being in gunner view. Typing in all caps really shows the quality of the idea here.
@@jeremy4303 TALKING ABOUT QUALITY OF IDEA .. DID YOU NOTICE THE COMPARISON THAT CAN STICK BARREL THROUGH BUILDING WITHOUT DEVIATION BUT CANT DRIVE PAST A LAMP POST BECAUSE IT WILL MESS UP ALLIGNMENT 🤯🤯🤯

gaijin will wet ammo storage be added for tanks
glad i'm here for the 400th episode
Some shermans have it its the ones with W in their name
@@rubybaron6392yeah, but I don't think it's modeled or has an effect
Wet storage didn't really work just act as armor
@@lechatmangeunbaguette That's straight up just not true. For Shermans, for example, the burn rate for a dry storage Sherman was around 80%. When they were given wet storage that burn rate dropped right down to 10-15% which is a massive difference.
Wet storage worked, it didn't totally stopped ammo going off or burning up but it was better than nothing.
@@sameiimo1734 I thought he meant that’s how it work in the game. Which it probably is, as Sherman wet ammonia stowage are still exploding
Wow, the 400th episode already? Where does the time go? Congratulations on this milestone, Gaijin! Here's to another 400, and then some! 🍻
Also, terrific episode, as always. I especially loved today's Pages of History segment, and the new radar sensor feature for replays is a god send. 👍

At 7.0 yet somehow type 87 RCVs are 7.7 and 9.0. but I guess england had to get a decent tank for once.
Btr has less pen, is slower and bigger and is 7.3. fox should be 7.7
Fox should be 8.3 so WWII tanks so see it ffs

I use the fox at top tier, and it performs better. Becareful what you wish for. At the tier it is at, it has to flank since most countries are using heavies. Now, the one thing i dont like when facing it is a .50 cal should rape this tank, but it rarely kills the crew.

Because it's Gaijin ig
because scharnhorst and her sister are kinda weird, by tonnage she's supposed to be a battleship, but she only carry smaller guns compared to other navies so some source classify them as battlecruisers
@@CT--ym5mn from what I've read, she was only classified as a battlecruiser by the British, but after the war, they changed their classification to battleship.

1 where are the ricochets (I’m not talking about RPU, when the game oppresses the player from a ricocheting projectile from a cardboard car)
2 show footage of a tank barrel going through a car, tank, building
3 Is it possible in reality that a tank’s cannon shoots up into the sky when leaving behind a building?
4 show footage of WWII tanks cutting along the beach (Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juneau, Sword) I saw footage of stuck equipment
Conclusion: the gamers are ignorant or this is not a game, but just a screen for collecting secret data
3:04 so basically the WoT EBR treatment 😂
Q: what is the best battleship aa included.
Week 16
nice choise of colors in replays 👍👍👍👍
Can you do one on the P61C-1
Gaijin why is the reload time diff for KPz-70 and the American 152mm Gun Launcher main battle tank if they both are exactly the same? They have same mass, speed, depression and other but only the reload speed is diff.
Hey Gaijin , why does the Bristol Beaufighter's right landing gear fold into the engine in cockpit view only. It's so weird.
Will we ever see the fv433 abbot in game
Fun how they show the very few times that the fox doesn’t one shot a tank
Bro that Italian pilot should have asked the spitfire to go on MGE server 😂
guys, april fools is near
The Fox is a wonderful vehicle, they should really buff high caliber APDS more.
There are any tutorial on how to use radar and missiles on PS4/5 for controller players?
The 1000th episode can be expected on October 30, 2033 if i did my math right
speaking of light tanks you should totally add the panzer 2 luchs
there is already a pz2 in the game, it think its the middle tank line
Tarantola was a great pilot...his nickname? Banana.
11:15
That doesn’t work half the time as every other patch seems to break that feature.
Actually the Fox is always my primary target.
7:44, sensor view
Your welcome
400 congrats gajijn
Where can I get the "dai banana!" decal 7:02
The most balanced vehicle in game be like
Question: Wich German Mig-29 is the best? Thanks!
Whenever I drive a Japanese tank, I get destroyed by this Fox.
Q: what are the 2-3 holes in the vertical wing on the Su-27?
Fox needs to be at least 7.7, my argument is based upon the AML-90 being 7.7
Greetings dear Shooting Range. I have a question.
Are there any other colors of afterburner's flame besides orange and on which factors it depends?
Q: are we gonna get more trainer aircraft like the T-38, Yak-130 or maybe even an L-39?
The Fox is basically a TIE Fighter:
Fast
No Armor
Pew Pew Gun
And theres always a swarm of them
its got pretty decent armor tbh, can eat 50 cals like theyre nothing, can even bounce some unlucky shots from panicked enemies trying to get eyes on target
Sensor view is suspiciously familiar with "SUM Ping"
Q: will the consolidated B32 dominator ever be added?
Q: week 5 of asking this question. how do I send in replays on MacBook??
Why do only aircraft have a test drive mission editor?
Are we gonna see more helicopters?? And more options for playing the helicopters ? 🚁
I wonder if we will ever see WW1 planes and tanks? Just because it could be added
Add the Finnish BMP-2MD and Folland Gnat to the game.
Not again !
@alexandreaudard4309 it won't be as op as the rat...... I mean fox
Triathlon for top tier IFV's?
Q : is there a graphic setting make Ground Enemy in CAS Appear a littel bet far Cuz always AA take me and i cant see it example A10a BR 10.3 ?
¿When will the MiG 25 and MiG 31 be introduced to the game?
Will we ever see the b24j we see so many variants of the b17 where’s the love for the b24😢
Is it possible that the PS4 version of the game will soon have options like custom gun sights and skins? By connecting the account to a computer you could then enable this like with the computer version.
31 seconds ago, greetings fellow gaijin trapped
Q: What keybindings would you recommend for someone using a Logitech X56 HOTAS?
how do you use As.34s effectively? they seem to miss the ship rather consistently for me.
Anyone here hoping to see what Gaijin is cooking for April Fools like me?
Yes im excited!
How come that early WW2 tanks have stabilisers (like the pz2, B1 or some shermans) but later ones like Pz 4 to 6, pershings etc. don't have any
those early vehicles had much smaller guns and they were usually stabilises by shoulder mounts, so the stabilizer was the gunner himself. And some other tanks like shermans, had very primitive gyro stabilisers. The more advanced tanks like tigers and pershings dont have them because those guns are much bigger and harder to keep moving around and the technology wasnt as good back then.
Do u guys think the ariete(plane) will ever be on discount?
Still waiting for the CF-100 to ever be added to the game. Hope someday?
the F-15A can carry up to 12 AAM but why only 8 in the game??
Is there gonna be a April Fools event or for once a missed year
Will the f105 get flares?
Q: is there a way to set up different controls for pressing and holding a button
. ofc bruh
unfortunately no, other games by gaijin utilising the same engine like crsed foad and enlisted have the tool to remap controls to hold, double click, even triple click, but somehow war thunder cant. wish they add that to the game
@@goatx5556 how
For some reason i cant only fire 3 out of 4 air to air missles in the F9F, please fix.
can we breed the fox?
when are we going to see more moderne french battleship (like dunkerque or richelieu ?)
Put FOX at top tier🙏🏻
Why?
It can penetrate every top tier vehicle at top tier and it's too good for it's tier when there is still vehicles from WWII. And the FOX is made in 1972
@@Mates106sk you got poittn
@@Mates106sk Not gonna lie, but I think it should be moved up to Because it doesn't really make sense to be fighting ww2 tanks
@@Treefvcker fr
Can we get some new brushes?
i know now how much farmers hate foxes in real life.
It’s probably out of your control but is there a way console(Xbox, PlayStation) could save replays?
I can’t wait for 2024 April fools!
Please keep the football event permanent
Hey gaijin, can you do a favor for the console players and fix the free roam camera? I find it hard trying to peek corners with the camera being all shaky.
Where did you get the Beurling Spitfire skin?
Hummm... clever? I think is destroyer of worlds is more apropriate.
How to get the Sturmtiger? Can you get it in gold?
Day 5 of Q: Will you ever add the me 262 a-2a/u2 variant?
ALSO BARREL ELEVATION SHOULD BE LOCKED TO CENTER SCREEN ..
DRIVING PAST OBJECTS AFFECTS BARREL ELEVATION WHICH ITS SILLY WHEN CAN STICK BARRELS THROUGH BUILDING WITHOUT DEVIATION.
BUT WHY DRIVING PAST LAMP POST CAUSES BARREL ELEVATION TO CHANGE ON ITS OWN
🤔🤔🤔
The barrel will point at whatever your mouse is pointed at. Lamp posts are physical objects. When your mouse passes over the top of a lamp post, the game will try to point your barrel at it. If barrel elevation was locked in third person you wouldn't be able to move the gun without being in gunner view. Typing in all caps really shows the quality of the idea here.
@@jeremy4303 TALKING ABOUT QUALITY OF IDEA .. DID YOU NOTICE THE COMPARISON THAT CAN STICK BARREL THROUGH BUILDING WITHOUT DEVIATION
BUT CANT DRIVE PAST A LAMP POST BECAUSE IT WILL MESS UP ALLIGNMENT
🤯🤯🤯
Where is sale gaijin?
8.0-9.0 Fox pls
F-18 super-hornet vs fox
