I am 70. Saw all the greats, Hendrix, Beatles, Stones...you name it and in between as well. I encountered this song only yesterday in a random FB post of dancers. Immediately looked up who they were. The freshest, real and incredibly talented group I have heard in years. My hips hurt from dancing.
Tbf they were already the most popular rock band in Italy and even won Sanremo a couple months ago, which is the biggest music festival in Italy and the oldest in Europe. I think it was inevitable for them to blow up with Eurovision cause they are just too talented and charismatic. Damiano in particular is a natural born world star.

Drummer kills it. And what I love about their album(s), is they record their songs pretty old-school in the studio. Real drums, recorded with microphones, instead of programmed grooves and triggered drum sounds. Like in the good old days.
This is a really good remake of the song. For those who may not know this was originally done by Frankie Valli and the four seasons back in 1967. If you get a chance listen to the difference, I think you will appreciate both. Great job I love it.
Madcon also did a version 10 years before maneskin. Everyone did a fabulous job, because the song itself stands the test of time and can be identified with every generation.

But these people performed wonderfully and looking at their genuine and innocent happiness at the end, waving at the crowd with genuine happiness and humility, just melted my heart.
