Here's my thoughts. 1) Yes, of course sub-groups of each ethnicity fetishize about BBC, so they specifically target Brothas. 2) Most respectable girls come from "good" families that are often looking to date/marry the equivalent of their father, their life-long male role model (hence dating focus on same ethnic background). 3) Generally, an attractive white guy is perceived as a better "catch" than an attractive black guy (or any other race really) because in virtually every society in the world, whites are (as a sub-group) a higher socioeconomic class than blacks. (disclosure: I'm a Black American who has traveled over 70 countries last 25 yrs)

Auston, it's good to see you learning and growing. I remember living in Korea for many years and how many average/bummy white men cleaned up with Korean girls. They didn't even attempt to speak the language or learn the culture. I was a black man, in shape, well dressed, hygenie on point, and I could speak some Korean. I noticed that waitresses treating my white friends better when we'd go out to eat together. I could pull girls but I had to work harder and I never got the baddest ones by Korean standards. I have talked to countless amounts of nationalities. The parents raise their daughters to date within their race. The phenomenon you highlighted does happen. However, that's not the reason why people globally have a reverence for whiteness. At the end of the day, it is a byproduct of the fact that the Industrial Revolution took place in England instead of Nigeria or India. White countries achieved a level of wealth that no other people had ever achieved in the history of mankind. This wealth allowed them to colonize other people's lands and minds and dominate the global narrative through cinema, music, and literature. A subset of Asian countries (South Korea, Japan, China, Singapore) have achieved measurable economic success and are thus starting to improve their image globally and escape from white supremacy. However, we as black people have not made similar strides. Look at the USA, for example-the more black people living in a given neighborhood, the more dangerous, low income, and undesirable it is, even to other black people. The same can be said about every other country that has a sizable black minority (Chocó in Colombia, the Northeast in Brazil, the coast in Ecuador, etc.). There isn't a single country in the world that is both black and rich-South Africa comes the closest, but something like 85% of the country's wealth is held by whites. The only way for black people to rise out of these stereotypes is to focus on improving ourselves and our communities.

This has to be the realest video I’ve seen by Auston. I gotta co-sign this all the way. Most of these guys on TY are lying about foreign women loving black men like that. This especially true here in Thailand. You will NEVER see a beautiful Thai woman and I’m talking about one that was born and raised in Thailand and that isn’t a pro with a black man. They have access to the top tier Thai men and colorism is a thing here like a mofo. They will deal with an Aston Kutcher white boy all day though. In Europe, it’s a little different. You can pull very attractive women and they aren’t niche/outliers because there is a greater concentration of black men there. Especially in the South of Germany or in Sweden. As a black man, I have witnessed some of the same treatment you described during my travels to Colombia and Mexico over the past 10 years, so let me share my perspective. Colombia is about 20% black, while Brazil has an even higher percentage, around 70%. The rest of the population is a multi-generational mix of predominantly mestizos and a minority of triguenos (a combination of all three races). The dating pecking order in these countries is evident and existed long before our arrival, as you alluded to in your comments about the genocidal and racially selective immigration policies of Argentina’s past. Racial bias in Latin America is passed down through generations, originating from the Spanish conquerors. To the best of my knowledge, Latin black history and African history (ancient Egypt, Mali, Songhi) is not taught as extensively as in American universities. There are no professors getting recognition there like John Henry Clarke or Yosef Ben-Jochannan here. Brazil has had some civil rights successes, but not on the same level as the U.S., where anti-discrimination laws were often enforced. In Colombia, some Afro-Latino civil rights leaders have have to treed lightly or they will be deleted. However, in my experience, our white counterparts don’t need to do this to get a high level of attention. It is what it is. Auston, it's good to see you learning and growing. I remember living in Korea for many years and how many average/bummy white men cleaned up with Korean girls. They didn't even attempt to speak the language or learn the culture. I was a black man, in shape, well dressed, hygenie on point, and I could speak some Korean. I noticed that waitresses treating my white friends better when we'd go out to eat together. I could pull girls but I had to work harder and I never got the baddest ones by Korean standards. A subset of Asian countries (South Korea, Japan, China, Singapore) have achieved measurable economic success and are thus starting to improve their image globally and escape from white supremacy. However, we as black people have not made similar strides. Look at the USA, for example-the more black people living in a given neighborhood, the more dangerous, low income, and undesirable it is, even to other black people. The same can be said about every other country that has a sizable black minority (Chocó in Colombia, the Northeast in Brazil, the coast in Ecuador, etc.). There isn't a single country in the world that is both black and rich-South Africa comes the closest, but something like 85% of the country's wealth is held by whites.
The only way for black people to rise out of these stereotypes is to focus on improving ourselves and our communities.

In Europe, it’s a little different. You can pull very attractive women and they aren’t niche/outliers because there is a greater concentration of black men there. I watched the video “It’s Over: White Guys Get the Best Woman” and "Most Women Aren’t Attracted to Black Men." As a black man, I have witnessed some of the same treatment you described during my travels to Colombia and Mexico over the past 10 years, so let me share my perspective.
Colombia is about 20% black, while Brazil has an even higher percentage, around 70%. The rest of the population is a multi-generational mix of predominantly mestizos and a minority of triguenos (a combination of all three races). The dating pecking order in these countries is evident and existed long before our arrival, as you alluded to in your comments about the genocidal and racially selective immigration policies of Argentina’s past. Racial bias in Latin America is passed down through generations, originating from the Spanish conquerors.
To the best of my knowledge, Latin black history and African history (ancient Egypt, Mali, Songhi) is not taught as extensively as in American universities. There are no professors getting recognition there like John Henry Clarke or Yosef Ben-Jochannan here. Brazil has had some civil rights successes, but not on the same level as the U.S., where anti-discrimination laws were often enforced. In Colombia, some Afro-Latino civil rights leaders have have to treed lightly or they will be deleted.
In my opinion, another element of discrimination in Latin America comes from the ratio of blacks compared to other races and the selective importation of American movies (another topic). Latin American countries with fewer blacks, like Mexico, seem more receptive to interacting with Black Americans than those in Central and South America. I’ve been stopped many times at tourist sites in Mexico where locals asked where I was from and then included me in a selfie. This has never happened to me in Colombia. While this example is not related to dating, it’s a start.
I agree that improving personal appearance enhances the attractiveness of Black men in Latin America. However, in my experience, our white counterparts don’t need to do this to get a high level of attention. It is what it is.
