weird to watch without commentary. cars sound nice but hard to know what's happening without commentary unexpected good quality for 2012 compared to other old race uploads on youtube
I remember this race was livestreamed for free to everyone who wanted it in 2012 - the stream had a few audio issues and hadn't been deinterlaced from the 1080i signal for the web stream but it got me into sportscars properly!
Super Sebring is allegedly dead, IMS is looking like the next spot for WEC in the US but it would be nice for them to turn it into a combined race again. not sure how 86 cars would fair on this track tho
the WEC wasn't around before 2012, this is its first official season. actually this is its first official race. Anything else came from series' like the ELMS or ALMS (American Le Mans Series) which have archived races on its channel
@@seawolf9616 no the LeMans Endurance Series were until 2011 before the FIA and ACO came together to make the WEC. And before the LMES, there was the LMS.

You don’t get to see Joey Hand hunt down the Ferrari that ran him off the road trying to pass on the last lap, epic final, check out the alms 2012 Sebring race and go to the last 3 minutes it’s worth it
"Most motorsports everybody has the same thing but we're going the other way" Aged well considering how many types of cars were in the prototypes last year. 5 different cars for both classes or something?
