Tate Ray I got highlights and it’s not scary at all but I think first you should try just dying the ends rather than dying your whole head first to see if it’s the right decision
@@user-sw2rh5ht3e she had complete virgin hair.. it's not as bad as you'd think cause you're used to seeing already dead/ dyed/bleached hair transformations.. not saying I could sense the fact that when they first bleached it, something seemed wrong.... and it probably was damage cause the multiple bleaches so I'll shut up lmaooo
Why is no one else amazed that the salon did this all in one session??? Her dark hair got SUPER light in one go! And then they just toned out the brass! I NEED THIS PLEASE!!!
There are a number of bleaching products these days that can take even Asian black hair to yellow in one application. BUT, (1) it requires longer application time (above an hour to lighten that much, which is edited out in this clip), (2) the chemical is super strong, and (3) the long ends simply won't lighten as quickly as the mid-shafts (that's why the stylist chopped off that much length and had to bleach off-scalp twice). You are basically sacrificing hair integrity for the speed. I mean, look at 3:57 and 4:19. The bleach FRIED the sh** out of that hair, which had some grey but decently healthy overall. Yes, blow drying with $500 worth of leave-in conditioner and styling products will get that pile of hay looking like human hair again, but the structure is permanently damaged. Don't get me wrong, though. The color result is awesome. It just shouldn't blow anyone's mind when that second round of lightening could've used a foiling/sectioning technique or a milder solution (lower peroxide volume since the cuticles were already open) to minimize breakage and frizz.
Actually they did do a good color job just the cut and style was not for her age i am sure that she went home and used a lot of products to make it look like she came out of the sea
exactly! I think she should have just dyed it or choped it first. Not both at the same time. Even you need time to adjust to a change especially if you are used to see the same view for a long time.
I went through a HUGE hair transformation a few months ago. I hated when I walked out the salon and cried the whole ride home. Took me two days of living with it to fall in love. Her reaction was that. Great dye color, but she just have to get use to the huge difference.
@Haha Haha are you a bot or something?! Because you are making absolutely NO SENSE! I just wrote MY OPINION! What the hell did it ever "scrutinize" what detail?!!? Go pick some other comment to reply gibberish to!
I don't think she's actually happy. There was something about her response that didn't seem genuine. I think she's like me after a bad haircut and just smiling through the doubt. "I did this to myself, now I have to own it" I'm sure she'll eventually love it though. She looks beautiful either way. But her natural hair was definitely healthier.
I thought it looked more that they had done multiple takes before, because she was acting like she'd seen it before! It felt off because maybe she was faking the suprise
I think she's in shock. To go from a reddish brown to bright blonde is a lot. I'm sure she'll become accustomed to it though, especially because it actually looks somewhat natural for her features.
**COMPLICATIONS ** I think it’s because we think a certain way about someone who obviously spends such an excessive amount of time and money on their appearance. Some people think it’s nice, attractive, impressive. Many other people consider it shallow, vain and a little pathetic. This girl definitely suits the blonde much better than the dark brown though. It really opened her face up.
She looks amazing. The blonde hair did wonders for her complexion and the shorter hair let that beautiful face shine through instead of hiding it. Can’t wait to get my hair dyed
Well we dont know that, i mean its shocking for some people to have dark hair and to see yourself with blonde hair like that, shes just getting used to it and trying to process the dramatic change of the colour. maybe she does hate it idk, but i wouldnt jump to that conclusion.
Oh god why would someone start with roots? Any time applying lightener you have to start w zone 2 in the hair. If it’s at the root you can get MAJOR breakage if you accidentally over process that part by doing the line of demarcation.
Munchkin not really. When you use very low volumes for the peroxide and don't use heat, it's perfectly fine. Also notice they did the second aplication on wet hair. That lowers the volumes even more
Munchkin No! THAT'S what you're told so you pay more money. If your hair is healthy and can handle it, do it! My friend who is a hair dresser used to change colors every two weeks. Condition, condition, condition! You don't like it? You can always cut it off! Hair always grows back. Good luck.
Mishele Clipper I'm sorry but that's just simply not true. If the hair is virgin it can lift much more and get the color you want (more than likely) in one sitting. This is because the lightner doesn't have to penetrate the previous artificial colors you might have in your hair. If the hair is virgin, the lightner simply has to penetrate your natural hues. It's not a trick to charge you more money. A colorist that cares will tell you it requires multiple processes because they don't want to do things that your hair can't handle. I hope this helps.
I'd love to see an update/follow up on this :) has she kept it blonde? how is the health of her hair now? how is she looking after it? has life changed with platinum hair?
Colleen C. Just Make sure to get the right hair stylist! The woman in the video did it the careful and correct way! Make sure you get a great one as well :3

seriously her outfit in the second photo was on point
I'd literally wear that exact outfit and I'm in my teens.
I think she went home and then cried.
But honestly it looks so so good on her, the cut, the color, everything😍
Misty Mistix i just think it was a shock, a drastic change makes ppl be shocked and surprised sometimes and she just needs to get used to it
I cried so much the first time I color my hair but now 8 years later I only love my hair blonde

She looks soooo good blonde AND brunette! Great job to the stylist!
Angelita the stylist hands down did such a great color job. She took the brassy tones out so well.
Her hair is shot! Trust me. That kind of lift in one visit is NOT recommended.

I like it brown

SHE HAD VIRGIN HAIR.. so therefore it obviously will take it in one go.
That "I love it" was so fake 😂 along with that smile.

Blonde makes her look older but in a good way. Like a 28 CEO at a major company, that wears expensive sunglasses and is a total badass.
Ela Zorec yeah she looks like a badass woman, instead of a badass girl!

I just don’t understand why people who have never dyed their hair decide to do the most drastic thing for their first time
Why dye it when you dont even see result. I also never dyed my hair and I wouldnt dye it for highlight or something simple like that.
Preference I guess. Some people want to jump off the deep end and that's fine.
A few subtle highlights wouldn’t make for an interesting video.
