Great video! I think I’ve watched it three times. Also, thank you for sparking my enjoyment for Heroes 2. I started recording my own play through of Faction Wars. I looked up demon caves. You have a chance for a better reward if you beat the master, but there's a 30% he just kills you outright.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this in previous points, but Boots of the Nomad don't stack with each other. However and curiously… Boots of the Nomad _do_ stack with the Traveler's Boots, if you happen to have found those. Combine that with Expert Logistics and a max speed unit stack, and you've got, like… 30 movement points.
*08/28 Edit:* I checked my document. The maximum amount of movement points a hero can have in _Heroes II_ is 37.
- Ultra Fast units incur no movement penalty, giving 15 base movement points.
(This also applies to having *no* units - which is impossible in _FHeroes2,_ sadly.)
- Expert Logistics give a +30% bonus for +4.5 (rounded down to +4) movement points.
- Traveler's Boots, True Compass, and Nomad Boots give stacking bonuses of +3, +5, and +6, respectively.
- The Stables (expansion only) gives a week-long +4 bonus.
This is more movement than _Heroes III_ (33) due to how Artifacts work, and more than _Heroes I_ (29) since there's neither Stables nor Hero Skills in that game. Kinda fun, huh?
Though in Heroes 3, you could get a logistics specialist hero for some truly absurd movement.

Loved this video! You are the top reason I have gotten back into the Heroes series. Quick question how are you achieving true full screen in fheroes2?
You can press F4 or switch the mode in graphics settings.
@@fheroes2 so the f4 button us active, i am in full screen but I have the black borders on the left and right. Now merited I use my samsung tv 3840x2160 as my monitor but I have tested nearly every graphic aspect ratio and there is always the left and right bars.
@@abcrazy9you should select any 16:9 resolution. Like 1920x1080 or 1280x768. If you don't have any of them you should try to add such custom resolution to your OS.
Do try tight formation sometimes, with archers on 4th slot and champions on 1st slot it gives you option to wall in archers before enemy can react. Also, sorcy could be rly good with that summon earth elemental spell, given how shes ultimate knowledge hero, thats a waves of of elementals that can be used to weaken enemy main heroes. plus she can retreat to safety even if true stacks are dead and elementals are still alive.
Hi! Nice walkthrough! Sorry If I mentioned it before, but it seems that you're playing in stretched mode, but the cursor is not, being too small comparing to the game UI. To fix it you should use "Software cursor" mode, which could be selected in .cfg file in the engine folder. Devices with multiple monitors also tend to work nicer with this mode, because it doesn't change your OS resolution. Have you tried it before?
Just found it! Very timely as I just upgraded to a 4K monitor and the cursor got even tinier. Thanks!
