I was in Myeongdong last year and was disappointed by the lack of traditional korean food I saw. I did try out a bunch of stuff from there but my favorite would have to be the simple and humble tteokokki and fish cakes. Egg bread was a delight to taste too! I suggest for those of you who want the real traditional korean street food, Myeongdong street night market isnt the place for you.

A decent market, but pretty touristy and SUPER overpriced compared to more local versions. That cheese corndog is half that price in my hood. Still worth checking out though, I'd say!

The street foods in Myeong-Dong look quite old and unhygienic with rip-off price. Plus, they don't show price nor do they accept credit cards. I wonder if they pay their due tax. Because of the smell, left right and centre, I wouldn't bother going out to Myeong-Dong.
