Broly's hair being blue is in fact because of the power dampener headband Paragus has him wearing, it effectively makes Broly's basic Super Saiyan transformation "incomplete".

Was it actually ever confirmed in the movies? I feel like this is one of those things I always assumed through context and just thought was right. Basically headcanon before I knew what headcanon was. But I guess if it's never explained outright, it leaves the writers' the ability to change things. I'm sure the writers for the second movie when designing Broly's base Super Saiyan form were going for that, since Legendary had the golden hair when fully unleashed. However, I actually kind of see it as the writers for the first movie thinking the blue hair and the Legendary forms as being the same, and once Broly powered through the headband, his Super Saiyan form "completed". Basically like Broly only has one transformation, and it just looks different when affected by the headband.

If you watch Broly's transformation into the Legendary Super Saiyan form in the first film, right before he transforms out of his Super Saiyan form, the headband shatters, and his hair turns from blue to yellow as his power is no longer limited. It's a little hard to see with all of the effects going on though.
I had a funny thought that this was Broly tapping into SSGSS before Super even existed 😂

There is a reason that Vegeta always holds that arm when he's injured. If you look at his regular fighting stance, he always keeps one arm forward in front of him to help block blows. It's this arm that he grabs when he's inured because it takes the brunt of the attacks he receives.
Yeah and this is supported by the fact that Vegeta lost his original body when sacrificing himself to stop Buu. His new body didn't have any previous injuries so he was essentially restored to full health.

@@str8rippi There’s a limit to that though. Saiyans don’t just restore immediately from a fight or have enhanced healing. Example being Goku staying in the Hospital while Bulma, Krillin and Gohan went to Namek. He heals like a normal human would which doesn’t necessarily mean saiyans could heal nerve damage. Vegeta having his body essentially be destroyed and recreated in perfect condition destroys the idea that his injuries from Saiyan/Namek saga carried over.

SSj Broly's hair was blue colored in the first movie because of Paragus's mind control device. Once it broke, his SSj hair was the proper golden/green tint. Always loved this detail in BT3!

Here's a unique part about Janemba's transformation in BT3. While some of the transformations increase your health, most of them didn't. Janemba is the only exception among those two factors as he's the only character in the series where in when he transformed instead of getting back some of his health, his health gradually decrease. Tho it can't kill him it's still a unique part of his transformation that others don't have.

@@thehomiedan6378 that is I'm not sure why, It's been a long time since I watched the z reborn movie but I guess it must be some of the little details that came from the movie tho I'm not sure.
@@thehomiedan6378 Two reasons. First one is because Super Janemba is a 3 health bar character, while regular, fat nemba is a 4 bar one. Therefore the game adjusts accordingly due to some weird balancing.
Second one is very simple. Super Janemba was triggeredb y ssj3 Goku kicking his ass and literally caving Janemba's head into his body.
Scouter characters having better detection is pretty funny since it basically works the opposite in the actual show/manga. Scouters were phased out since they were unreliable compared to ki sensing.
People can hide their ki tho and scouters probably have detection methods as well

Yup specially when vegetas brother thiught goku was weak af when actually he was'nt showing his ki not hiding but just not flexing it
It makes sense still though. It never said the scouter characters were better or more effective. But it makes sense a scanner would detect something much faster than your senses. They just suck when it comes to finding out actual power levels
Unlike scouters, it's also possible to locate ki across the entire universe and even further if it's strong enough. If I remember correctly, Mr. Popo also taught Goku how to sense energy and thus react way better to their movements instead of relying on his senses. That made the fight against the Androids a lot harder probably.

You are right. Broly's Super Saiyan hair is naturally yellow, however, due to the power dampener, it somehow turned blue

@@FazeRustyNuts it's a power dampener, it stops him from using his full power, but it can't contain everything so he's kinda stuck in-between base form and Super Saiyan which makes his hair blue
The load screen with the Saibamen can actually be altered by rotating the stick. The faster you rotate them the faster they spawn. Two players can contribute and the red Saibamen I think might be more of a personal achievement than anything.

If you play any Vegeta character and spam the ki blast button he'll fire 10 of them. Most other character will only fire about 6-8. It's of course a nod to how ki spam heavy Vegeta is, I'm not sure if it's in Tenkaichi 1 and 2, but definitely in 3.

Little secret from Tenkaichi 3, Babidy's ultimate can be buffed if you use his grab first, the same applies if you use Spopovich ultimate and then switch to Babidy, his ultimate will be buffed as well

The Saibaman thing. If I remember correctly, you can speed it up by rotating both of the joysticks. You could get a red without having a super scuffed disc.
You can also double the speed if you have a second controller plugged in doing it too.

If you have an original ps2 and open the disc tray without resetting the system, you can get stuck on that loading screen and play the minigame for as long as you want

The infinite world COMPLETELY caught me off guard. I played that game for years and wondered would if something happened if i stayed on the loading screen long enough. And after 9 years, IT WAS THAT? Truly shocked.
In the Budokai 3 story mode, when you use the energy sense on the next battle you'll see the opponent's energy. If you do this on an android fight there won't be any visible energy.

Since you brought up Final Bout, Pan has a semi-glitched attack combination that does STUPID amounts of damage if you can land it. I think her Down + Punch attack is the one that launches a _very_ short range ki force, and while its damage isn't all that impressive on its own, you can actually cancel that move mid-animation into her Down-Quarter Circle-Forward + Punch (I THINK, but it's the one special where she throws a lot of quick punches), and the ki force can/will REMAIN active in frames dealing further damage... Like, a LOT of damage, probably the most in the game if you're lucky with the setup.
On a similar vein, Piccolo and Gohan had an aerial kick barrage move that dealt respectable damage if it landed. Should be noted however that blocking opponents might take just as much damage, if not MORE sometimes.
All three of these characters made quick work of Great Ape Baby with those moves if you could get that close to him.
The reason de-fusion is in Tag Team but not in 3 is probably because Tag Team came out 3 years later. Either they decided to add it to Tag Team to add a bit more lore accuracy to the game, or maybe it was always a planned feature in 3 that they never got around to for some reason.

Here is something I noticed about the Tri-beam in the Tenkaichi games. From tenkaichi 2 and onwards Tien’s Tri-beam will shoot out a shape at the opponent. But in Tenkaichi 1 the Tri-beam is different. In Tenkaichi 1 the Tri-beam is an actual beam that Tien shoots and you can even beam clash with it. So in Tenkaichi 1 they made the Tri-beam similar to when Tien used it against Buu.

The color difference on broly’s ssj is indeed a reference to the mind control device and power damping. I always admired these little details in the series. They could have easily ignored features like scouter detection and stuff like that.
Even modern DBZ games don't have this kind of attention to detail.
I spent an insane amount of time in Tenkaichi Tag Team, and I'm so excited to see it get the attention it deserves! It's genuinely one of the best handheld DBZ games, I implore everyone to try it out!

"Usunoro" is just something in the line of "You slow walker". Gohan was just taunting Buu, who couldn't follow his movement, and Piccolo and the kids were astonished with Gohan's speed and power.

I'm pretty sure the timer in ttt is because of online play and the tag mechanic. You can play with friends and when you fuse with a friend, the one who initiated the fusion assumes control of it, so there's a timer in order not to keep your friend waiting I guess.

Here's a little Easter egg in Budokai 2 in the first part of the Android saga Dr gero will make Goku fight 5 saibermen each of them have different colors pink red yellow blue and the normal green Dr gero calls them his bio warriors which could be reference to the DBZ movie world strongest. The blue is a reference 3 bio warriors which are literally saibamen but dark blue and other 3 ( I forgot they're names) the pink one can freeze people the green one can electrocute and yellow is immune to damage because attacks would just bounce off him. there no red bio warrior unfortunately. I could be wrong about this but I just was interesting to bring up
Not sure if you've talked about these ones yet, but here some pretty interesting ones:
1. In the PAL version of BT3, chiatzou has a really easy to perform infinite, which is just continuously using his dash kicks.
2. Trunks has special dialogue with Turles. It's kind of random but cool.

In terms of the Red Saibaman, it could be a Gundam reference. The green ones share the same colour scheme as the grunt suits in the first series, and the red one symbolizes one of the more important characters who uses a red suit which many believe makes him 3x faster
7:05 speaking of Budokai title screens, there’s a 4th screen for once you’ve beaten the game (or unlocked everyone, can’t remember) and it’s every playable character but chibi
The reason why Broly's hair was blue in the SSJ form in the first movie was because of the band that restricted his full transformations into LSSJ in the second movie Broly (as a Saiyan) can adopt to his powers so he can control his LSSJ and turn normal SSJ (which is green not yellow in Broly's Case).

In the fighterz arcade mode, if you hold the tag button on the vs screen, you can change your first character. It gives a sound indication when it activates.
Your theory about why Broly’s hair is different is exactly correct.
Fun fact, in the first Broly movie his hair looks more and more like a normal super saiyan the longer the movie goes on.
Of course it’s that weird blue when he first goes Super Saiyan but even when he first goes Legendary Super Saiyan it still has a sickly green tint to it showing the mind control device had some kind of lingering effect.
By the end of his fight against the Z Fighters when Broly and Goku charge up for that last punch you can see Broly’s hair is almost a pure bright yellow like a normal super saiyan with no tint of green showing he’s completely overcome the mind control device’s effects on his power.
That’s right, the Broly that was slaughtering all the Z Fighters in his LSSJ state was likely not even at his full power to begin with.
I always thought that too. I thought the reason why Broly's Super Saiyan form is green instead of blue in his second color was that he wasn't wearing the headband.

I'm pretty sure the fusion having limit in Tag Team has to do with the fact that you can play with other 3 people allowing for 2v2, and only one person ia able to control the fusion.
And fights don't last 5 minutes on Tenkaichi 3, but considering that Tag Team has the Senzu Bean system allowing each team to have up to 2 senzu beans (filling the all the health) it would get pretty boring for the other person to just watch the other play against the othe two
Man, I didn't have a PSP, but I would have loved to see a last Tenkaichi squeeze on PS2, maybe a Tenkaichi Tag Team port (since a lot of PSP games received PS2 ports) or a Infinite World style refinement of Tenkaichi with that 2v2 gameplay style of Tag Team.
Hopefully they implement at least 2v2 to the new Tenkaichi.
I mean, I have never played with a friend to test how fusion actually works online :^), but the potara fusion still lasts forever

Lol. I loved the differences in Ki sensing in the BT games. Androids locked on fast and couldn't be sensed. Used to play hide and seek with my friends and cousins this way. Yajirobe also had a move that forced his opponent to lock off and he had a move that lowered his ki, so if you had low enough ki your opponents couldn't find you easily.
On Budokai for psp
If you trigger the transformation commands while the screen loads you will start the fight transformed and the character will do the intro just like that.

I’ve had both the Korin animation and saibaman animation happen to me when getting stuck on a loading screen and this is the first time I’ve ever seen it referenced anywhere that’s nice to get some clarity on those lol
I always thought piccolo being shocked was cause they thought gohan was died and goku was going to show up
I actually encountered the "korin rain" in the loading screen for infinite world as a kid, cuz I actually had a really scratched game CD, it was a really fun easter egg but it usually meant for me that I have to take out the CD and re-insert it hoping it would work this time
That wind blowing and the empty landscape beyond the arena is so nostalgic for some reason even though I have no memory of this game or anything like it 🤔

fun thing about Infinite World; it has one of the fastest currency methods out of any video game, during the Majin Buu saga, there's a mission where you play as Android 18 against Hercule, the point is to lose the match like in the anime, but if you set it to the hardest difficulty, HE gets more aggressive, so as soon as the round starts, back all the way up to the edge of the World Tournament Stage, and he should knock you off within seconds, insanely easy zeni farm
