- In a rhythm from two years the stationary engine fans from Germany meets Unterwellenborn for the biggest stationary engine rally in Germany.
The exhibitors comes from the Nederlands, France,Switzerland and Germany and present her engines from the 1880s up to the late 1960s years.
You can see the engines powers up some saws, pumps and generators.

My goodness that last engine needed new rings and valve grinding. Barely enough compression but she still runs. Good show though some really nice engines. Saw no slide valves with external fire ignition. Those are tricky would like to have one.

Ich meine, mich zu erinnern, dass vor einiger Zeit eine Kehrmaschine mit Güldner Motor zum Verkauf stand, weiß jemand, ob das die im Video zu sehende Maschine ist?
Sehr schönes Video. Wirklich tolle Bilder. An diesen Standmotoren sieht man wenigstens noch was, im Gegensatz zu den Traktoren, die zwar auch nicht uninteressant sind, aber aufgrund von Verkleidungen eben nicht solche mechanischen Details präsentieren können. Ich bin zwar recht firm in Nutzfahrzeugdieselmotoren, aber das beschränkt hauptsächlich auf CR-Motoren sowie ein wenig auf Reiheneinspritz- und VP-Technik. Leider nimmt man bei diesen Motoren nur noch den Riementrieb und den Lüfter wirklich zur Kenntnis. Der Rest ist ein verkapselter Block.

It means it is the largest 'convention' of stationary engines, not that it has the largest engine.
Where they always that hard get engines always at hard to start or was it that hard to get the horse and buggy out and that was simpler that's just seems like such a job just to get it started good old days I guess

Mir würden die Treffen besser gefallen wenn mehr Motoren mit Schalldämpfern ausgerüstet wären. Offene Rohre klingen oft an Benzinern schrecklich. In einem anderen Video übertönt ein sehr alter Vergasermotor durch unvortelhaften Funkenschutz alle nebenstehenden. Original hin und her, ich hätte kein problem so einen Motor mit Schalldämpfer zu versehen. Schliesslich würde ich so ein schönes Stück auch gern zuhause im Garten laufenlassen können ohne die Nachbarn zu nerven. Mein Traum wäre es so einen alten Diesel wie um 1:49 rum mit Generator zu versehen und zu nutzen, da wird leise wichtig.
