Good luck to those in Camarillo, Santa Paula, and other affected areas. Air quality has improved drastically over the past hour in Oxnard/Hueneme now that the winds have died down a bit.
As a former wildland firefighter I've been on these types of fires. The brush is the high winds are the problem, more clearing of brush around home's not 100 feet 1000 feet or more. Low rain fall this time of year. Big fires sometimes brings rain. Sorry for those who lost their homes.
Because we live in a third world country. At least it is what my European friends say when they come to visit. lol. They are shocked to see all these lines above ground.
How is it that every single time there is wind there is a huge fire? Are these fires being set on purpose? More insurance companies will be canceling policy's while others will be getting big price increases
@anniehills3580 i find this hard to believe when 20 or 30 years ago this never happened. Now in the past 5 to 10 years is a years it happens all the time in multiple place. I worked in the utility industry for 39 years and until lately this is a normal occurrence.
@@henrykaiser8809 we were evacuated for the Marshall fire in Boulder County, CO. Been in this house 43 years! We were one of only a few houses that did not have damage. I dont understand it, either, but seems the only thing that has changed over the last few decades is our climate. IDK
God please help save the lives of all involved. Please keep firefighters safe. Fire is unforgiving. Many prayers to all.
Thank you to our firefighters, emergency workers and kindly neighbors 🙏

What Jurisdiction?
Why is the media ignoring the fact the Camarillo Gris has NO WATER !!!! Fire hydrants are DRY . Whose fault is this !?!
Local leaders PD and Fire dispute this claim.
Why are the wires above ground? These companies make tons of money

So glad you live in Burbank but so bummed you’re commenting dumb things
Lot of Homeless in burbank
You realize 99% of Southern Calif, could be impacted by a wildland fire.
Where are all those tight knit communities?
🙏🙏🙏

The trolls are real l osers here 😂
Ventura county fire really got their butt kicked
They happened to be highly respected in the world of wildland fire fighting. Because not all wildland Firefighters carry the same skill set.
Channel 7 copter counted at least 83 homes burned down.
If true that is horrible.
That is terrible.
Thank the environmental groups and the 9th district Court of appeals😢😢😢
Why?
What parts of Moorpark are affected?
The Biggest Little Farm? Are they ok?
Did the electric company start this one?
Are they bringing in the jail team???
Moorpark?
In the meantime 3 Power Plants serving these areas have been SHUT DOWN!!!!! with 3 more scheduled to be Permanently closed..
Hi I'm mark Brown
NEWSOMES FAULT
why?
Not a fan of him, but is he responsible for the fires currently in other states ?
Blah blah blah
Same as DeSantis on the Hurricanes in Florida
Yup. High wind controlled by humans. Sound argument. Keep yapping.
Sounds like usual suspects?
sad

When it is hot with little humidity, an electric static spark can start a fire, then winds😢 spread it so fast!😢

@@henrykaiser8809 which country ?
@maxsmith695 the L.A., Ventura and San Bernardino areas in Commifornia
Clean out your dead brush. I guess your climate change policies not to clean it out are the consequences.
It’s obvious you’ve never been anywhere near here
@@weskelly4538 Doubt they've travelled out of their own county.
Throw f'n NEWSOM IN JAIL. HE IS THE WORST, WORST GOVERNOR OF ALL.
Then why do you keep voting him into office?
Not that I care for him (Newsom) but what does he have to do with the fire
Go yap politics on a post that’s about politics.
Firefighters appreciate him.
