I love that you addressed this. My weight has fluctuated a lot and I have noticed first hand that fat people are often not treated with credibility. It is also important to dress up a little and look nice. Clothes that flatter our body are very important.
I believe appearance is everything that's if you want to get results in life.

Thanks for talking about this. I prayed about what a healthy view of my external appearance/things would be. I felt God impressing that with the gifting's he gives us- also comes responsibility. He gave me a car & it's my responsibility to take care of it, keep regular maintenance, keep it clean & running. The same with me, I was gifted an able body & it's my responsibility to take care of it, exercising, eating healthy. I'm feeling more permission to spend time & effort on my appearance & it's a different view for me :)
I can agree on the emphasis, but let me clarify, some angles here: the way someone dresses interprets how they are thinking, for that season of their life. A person's confidence is shown by how they communicate to others, no matter what they appear in. God Bless

I tend to agree with this. Sometimes you're more focused on achieving a goal that may not be consistent with spending hours on your appearance daily. Just like students, etc.
I really found you by coincidence. Maybe it is a ''God-incidence" but I can that you are by far one the best life coaches I have met on YT. I have been listening to whole lot of your videos and they are so good and so inspiring.My daughter now is also a subscriber and I have sent your channel to a whole of my friends here on YT. I just saw a Tom Ford Doc on here. He said something interesting. He says when he feels depressed he likes to put on a nice outfit because it helps him feel good about himself. Then he said, when people feel good about themselves, they change their belief in themselves. I think about that next time I see a price tag.

I'm a person who love beauty since I was young, I've dreamed to be a singer, actress working on TV, and since I've acne, I tend to believe that it destroys my dreams, I feel so insecure in my own skin and it's hard to not think about it :( I don't even look people in the eyes when I talk to them, I seem to focus too much on my flaws, it does effect your success if you wish to work in the areas that require beauty

I have always looked elegant and put together. Well, THAT didn't get me a job 😉😁, but I agree. People are unconsciously attracted to health, cleanness, wealth, success. I think it is encoded in our genes, we seek survival and growth. Also animals... they chose the best partner for themselves.

I'm so glad to find ur you tube channel. This has been something I have been trying to understand for so long now. I know our true measure is on the inside as God says. So I have a real hard time finding a reason to look my best. This helps but I have a long way to go. Any suggestions of any other of ur videos or anyone's or books?
Kimbers 123 if I can offer you or anyone an answer to looking your best: your mirror is your best friend. Take time to go through your closet and create 3 piles. To keep and maybe alter to improve, to give away and to through out. A full mirror will help. A good mirror one that is not distorted. Keep the core pieces and purchase pieces that are needed bit by bit. No need to spend a lot of $. Just like Terri she will go to TJMax. Mark throw aways with a hidden safety pin until you replaced that item then toss or give away. Toss anything that lost its shape, color or appeal or doesn't fit who you are today.
