9:56 - Couldn't you just have PBD and won? The right rearguard has resist if my memory doesn't fail me so it wouldn't be able to be picked as a target. If SBD was the optimal play can someone please explain it to me??
He could reach at max 41k Guard (+ Gurguit's GB2 maybe). With cards counting as 2 sacrifices like Charon or Arsur, it would've been easy to reach such a number. You could even use Kahedin to get 5k more.
For that GP G1 and G3 that get power for each unit played on the board it has the unite keyword. Doesn't that mean that you have to drop 2 units on the board before you start getting power? I thought you have to meet the requirement first.
I am pretty sure that gold paladin Gerrie the stand trigger counter charge skill is only activated at the end of turn I think there is a slight misplay there

my bad, ive been researching whether going second or first alters a game with good players. you mis played on your drag driver tho. not only could you have used luards skill after the stride skill, but you could have put those units into the third row and hit good numbers as well still. then instead of retiring your grade 2 you could have retired your grade 1 and gotten in a full 3 attacks.

Well I was worried that maybe the shal pal deck wasn't as strong as I thought it was because up until the Dragdriver turn CPro had made just about every move I would have made and played perfectly, which really worried me that if this deck can't even beat G-golds then it isn't as good as I'd hoped but CPro, I love you man but you misplayed the hell out of that driver turn. Weyei only had 4 cards in hand, all you needed to do was go for a full assault and you would have de_stroyed him. Call out the two you call with driver skill but put abyssal behind your vanguard and Knies into its own column, then use the on-Stride to call out two more G1s, one behind Grosne and another in front of Knies, ideally you would call out another Knies to each of these columns but it's late game and I'll assume you have only one left and the other card you call out could be like a perfect guard or something. So, the PG to the column with grandpa, and two Knies together in one column, one of which has +7k from Dragdriver. One column is now 25k, your center in 26k, and grandpa column is 27k. With what I think is 2 10ks and 2 5ks in hand plus 1 intercept, weyei would have needed you to bank on not getting even a single trigger and would be left defenseless, also you would have had another shuffle and more deck thinning to get those trigs. Obviously gurguits GB2 exists to help with the guarding but my scenario gave you a much more powerful fighting chance, and Knies would have gotten you another refill draw.
With some techs as the Diablo support (Charon, Hoel and Kahedin mainly), the deck can become very consistent and easily beat G-Gold. Also, the turn during which he strode into Dragdriver, I would've rather used Spectral because he could at max block 1 attack.
Noah El Well, the turns you stride into a Diablo, it gives good cards to use; especially since Luard's stride skill does pretty much the same thing as Vortimer. Luard is better though he needs as CB as you can call G0 and isn't limited to specific strides. Also, Dragdriver needs Soul as well as Spectral and Swordbreaker (if ever played), which is a good reason to run the Kahedin/Hoel engine. Imo, when Luard's next support will be released, there will most likely be a card helping to fill the Soul so that this engine won't be relevant anymore.

it doesnt work even a little bit, Diablo is it;s own deck.
