Yep… 2nd listen and this is a great performance! That solar sounds ace, especially paired with the Cosmos… a very good hypnotic and future vibes for me. Excellent 👌
Nice one. Just a suggestion re - filter packing in. Maybe you could use the filter FX cartridge as a 'standby ' while, hopefully, Elta sort out this issue for you ? From a fellow '42 user / messer a-bouter.
What a lovely piece, also interesting signal flow, your only using mono out for the wet channel? so does everything end up in the nightsky? Added to my playlist, thanks.
Thanks for watching! We had to get creative during this performance due to some unexpected issues with SOLAR’s filters. Over the weekend, the right channel started self-oscillating at an awful pitch, even with the resonance only halfway up. Eventually, the filter stopped working altogether. Because of this, we had no filter in the wet channel & decided not to connect the right side at all. Most of the sound you hear comes from the touch keys with signals going to voices 4 + 5 & some unfiltered layers mixed in for the mono wet out. The only part that doesn't go to the NightSky is the last bass drone on hold (voice 6) at 4:49. We've reached out to Arseny for help & will be sending the unit in for repair soon.
@@amsin_amsin_amsin wow, sorry to hear that, I guess solar 42 is going back to elta for servicing. I just got mine last week, I have the F version, they moved the dry out to voices 4 and 5 area as a 3.5mm jack, not sure why they did that, also lots of other changes, hey they are really nice guys, you might even just get a swap to F version, u are still in 1 year warranty + the content you are making is pure gold for them.
Maybe the 3.5 jack is for easy modular integration & further processing. We wish that’s the case ~ wouldn't mind at all have the newest revision of the instrument but let’s see what happens! Just had an idea for the next video using other types of filter chains on the wet out. That might be our weekend exploration before we send it back to repair.
Very nice, thank you!
NIIIIICE!
gorgeous! I love ambient like this that has a tangential melody. Definitely following your bandcamp.
Thank you, Kevin! We usually try to record a live improv jam twice a month so keep tuned 😉🌟
Que Maravilla lo que hacéis! Unos sonidos, Una música que me deja sin palabras! Sólo Sentir y Disfrutar...
Owwww excellent to see this ready for tonight’s playlist! 👌💎
This is wonderful! ❤
I watched this through several times, I find it fascinating - your choice of instruments and signal flow are interesting. Curious to hear more
Hi Mike! Thank you so much for your support. We will definitely put out more jams & released material. Glad to have you around & follow our journey!
Love this, love that low note. The Solar42 is a beast=^.^=

Lovely stuff. Still waiting for mine. You are wetting my appetite even more. ❤
Good luck, Lester. It can sometimes be overwhelming to make music in a new way but it’s also very rewarding!
@@amsin_amsin_amsin keep doing what you do. 🙌
Reminds me of Arrival! So in love with this one
