Hello Everyone! We're finally Italian citizens!!! We are so so excited to share this video with you all. It's been an amazing journey! In this video, we pick up our passports and we have our citizenship ceremony. The ceremony isn't something necessary to become an Italian, it is just something that the company that we went with set up for us. It is something that they are known for. I am working on being recognized as an Italian citizen through ancestry and it is just so warm and beautiful how they welcomed you into the Italian family with so many gifts and love. So genuine and loving. What an honor you both must feel, hopefully I will be able to join you all as an Italian soon!

Congratulations. I was surprised to see Joe speaking in English. I though he would be fluent in Italian. For some reason I thought he spoke to you all in Italian sometimes and that everyone had a basic knowledge of the language.

Thank you!! My dad does speak (for the most part) fluent Sicilian, which is different than Italian. The mayor and the other officials were speaking formal Italian and he didn't want to be informal when speaking the Sicilian that he knew. As for my siblings, they all know the basics of the Italian language.
