One of the coolest looking rc planes out there. CG is critical on this as it is nose heavy with battery, maybe add a small bit of weight to back of it.
Suggested to anyone who wants to run v tail, get kit. The tail is set for ele only. The t harness is bound inside tail. I ripped mine out, then ran screwdriver through to run separate ch.
Oh yeah Don, me too. But I wonder about flying characteristics of this bird. But we will see that soon. Stay well my friend and greetings from Slovenia, Robert
yes I know what you mean.It looks like it should not fly,but I hope it does fly ok.Gosh Robert, you and Capt.Blaz have a lot of maidens to do.I am looking forward to that!Cheers,Don

Another mysterious but great plane you have for us. Good luck with the assembly and I can't wait to see the maiden. I know it's going to look fantastic in the air.
In 1992 a crew brought a nitro powered ducted fan F117 to my club in Southern California and filmed footage for the Movie Interceptor. It was AWESOME and Ive wanted a ducted fan bird ever since.

Very nice scale model! hope it flies well. A friend of mine owned a very expensive A-10 from LX (Lanxiang), looked beautiful but was a great misery qualitatively. Very poor quality EDF, servos, landing gear and also the service of Lanxiang were very disappointing. But it might just be that this F117 is trouble-free ... I hope so. Good luck with the maiden!
Thanks Louis. I really hope so and I hope for good flight with low flybys. Oh yeah... And there is no other way. We must try this bird no matter what. If there will be problems we will show it all. Cheers, Robert

Actually, it was probably October 1990 or 1991. It was the last airshow I went to with my late father as he passed on in August, 1992.
The Serbs downed one in 1999. You can bet that the wreckage was soon analyzed by both the Russians and Chinese. Anything they didn't already know, they soon did after the forensics. Same thing happened with the U-2 shoot down in 1960.
