I actually know someone who came home on leave to an empty house. His parents apologized but he is such a disagreeable person I secretly wondered if it was on purpose…LOL!

An uncle had this happened to him but it was truly a misunderstanding. He was in his twenties, had two jobs, and was also very social. He knew they were moving but not the exact date. He went to work, then to a party and when he returned home, the house was empty and he realized that his family had moved that day. He had a rough idea of the new address, looked around and found his dad´s car. This was back in the seventies, so there was no locked door. He just went right in and found his new room. 😀

If the mother had a problem, why didn't she talk to Alexis? But instead, she decided to ghost her own daughter. Then it seemed the only reason why Alexis was contacted was because the mother thought people would be on her side and found out that she was so wrong.

The entitlement of her mother is unbelievable and sad. She is a very toxic and HURTFUL woman, she messed around and found out.
It was nice the daughter bought a penthouse, with out her mother knowing about it, all she does is put her daughter down. The best revenge is to be successful and let them regret all the negative comments and opinions.

If OP had a penthouse, why did she have to go to the parents' home?🤔

Her parents' house was her home, the penthouse was her escape room.

It's also possible that OP just had a vague hunch something like this could happen.

Alexis' mother Marie and the rest of the family are the type of people who would put people down until reality hits them in the face and then realize that maybe they should have not committed such wrong actions and said hurtful words and took more interest in the person's life. Alexis did the right thing by cutting ties with her family and her mother. Maybe that will teach her a fine lesson ask to never believe or degrade your daughter's achievements and to embrace them even when they're on the come up so that when the success is made you can be right there benefiting. To Marie, did she honestly think that by moving away that her daughter would not already be successful and already independent so much in fact that she has a penthouse and a well-paying job and making moves without her approval ? Did she? Did you honestly think people would be on her side for her actions? In her mind she thought so but in reality, the extended family and friends completely abandoned Marie and her family for what they had done. Just listen to how it all backfired :9:32-9:48. Marie this is all your fault if you were in love with your daughter and been there doing her low times and encourage her and support her you wouldn't have gotten ties cut from her

Something is wrong with Op, you're ready to trust and build bridges with your sister, but where was she (just like her mom) when Op tried to reach out to her, she sent all her calls to voice mail, and didn't reach out until Op became successful. Just like her mom did. Op must be a little slow.

Alexis forgave her sister but not their mom when her sister, mom, and brother were all in on the same plan and the only reason they were reaching out to Alexis was only because Alexis became successful. That doesn’t make any sense. Alexis is kinda dumb.

Op's mom moved without telling Op,but Op also moved without telling her mom she had her own penthouse. I say it's even, and Op had her own place before the mom. Sounds like they both had issues, not just the mom.
