    One would agree it’s impossible to say no to an opportunity like the S&P ETFs. However, mixing in some other assets is how to do it in reality. The market has been great, I’m surfing the AI wave into the next few decades

      Love it! Keep it simple, buy things you understand, take some risk but don’t try to shoot the lights out.

      Great advice here. I just hit ~$1m in stock profits from finding inefficiently priced small cap companies to buy :)

      New to investing, have done lots of research, wondering if you had/have an advisor when starting out. I am struggling to decide what to invest in with a fair capital. I am sticking to buy limits. However, getting tired of checking my phone everyday. I have cash to deploy but not sure whether to dollar-cost-average. Or go bullish on stocks I believe in. Any advice from anyone would be much appreciated.

      Investing in AI trading has been a game-changer for me! I was skeptical at first, but once I saw the results, I was amazed. The AI algorithm has consistently outperformed my own trading decisions, and I've seen a significant increase in my profits. But it's not just about the money - it's about the freedom and peace of mind that comes with knowing my investments are being managed by a cutting-edge technology.
      I used to spend hours analyzing charts and news, trying to make sense of the markets. But now, I can focus on what matters most to me, while the AI takes care of my trading. I've gained more time, reduced my stress levels, and achieved financial stability.
      I'm so grateful for this technology, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're hesitant, I understand, but trust me, it's worth exploring. AI trading has truly changed my life, and I'm confident it can do the same for you!"

      Could you imagine if we had these stock platforms on our cellphone. All growing up I just did or took what my work offered for retirement, but now young kids can get started right away..I thought I had to pay a brokerage a ton of money to do this for me...We just didn't have it this easy...We would be Billionaires if we had this in the 80s..lol

    2:14 hello Steve! Thank you for all the valuable information. If I’m investing in my companies 401k with match would you suggest I also open a Roth IRA? I’m over 50, so I’m interested in investing maximum amount but I don’t have 30 yrs. If I only have about 15 yrs does that mean should have 500,000?

    • @Onurtime
      @Onurtime 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, once you've maxed out the 401k, max out your Roth IRA next, keep income limits in mind. Once you've maxed those, find a HYSA you like or lock some funds in high yield CDs.

    • @CalltoLeap
      @CalltoLeap  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Monica! It depends on your risk tolerance. Some people will invest the lump sum all at once because they don't mind the volatility of the markets in the long term. Some people may like to invest little by little (dollar cost average) because they want to average in the price as the markets fluctuate.

    I have been using betterment for my Roth IRA - my understanding is that they automatically buy assests and my only responsibility is my monthly contribution. Is that correct? Sorry, I'm a bit confused about whether or not I am using this account correctly. Hope you can clarify. Thanks!

    Can you talk about investing in dividend etf like schd?

    • @CaedenV
      @CaedenV 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally like schd, but it depends on your goals. S&p is generally going to grow more and faster. But if you are retiring soon, then converting to dividends will help you earn more cash flow without needing to sell off underlying assets.
      Personally, all of my retirement accounts are in s&p, or cap style funds because they have low costs and grow fast, and I'm not anywhere near retirement yet. My brokerage acct though is all dividend based, because I might use it for cash flow if times get tough, so it is a sort of 3rd household income for us... Not a large one, but better than nothing. But because it is a normal brokerage, I do need to pay taxes on that income whether I reinvest it or use it, so come tax season I need to be mindful of that.
      Lota to consider though, and depends on your goals and plans.

    If the price of SPY goes up 10 percent by year on average, 500 dollars won't be enough to get a share in 30 years. As I know, Roth IRA has limits on yearly contributions so how will that work in the future?

    • @CalltoLeap
      @CalltoLeap  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great point! Roth IRA contribution limits should increase over time. Also, as the price of a share gets higher, it may have a split in the future. The whole idea here is to contribute and invest around $500 a month, and slowly work up from there. If you don't have enough to buy one whole share this month, you can save up to buy a share when you do have enough. My goal is to keep things simple for beginners by giving them a goal of just buying around 1 share every 1 month. Hope this helps!

    Hi Steve, could there be an error in your ebook and money cheat sheet link"? The link isn't working for me. I have a question as well. I'm 47 and need to get started. I like the idea of a Roth but some years I make more than 161 and others less than 161. Therefore, could it make sense to have both an Individual and Roth for the years I make less than 161? Also, sort of curious how I should go about figuring when to purchase assets. Meaning, could purchasing 12 shares of SPY (for example) once a year after knowing my income for that year create less wealth or is okay to use the monthly auto invest in a Roth and somehow correct it after knowing what I made that year? Thanks in advance, very happy to have come across your teachings!

    • @CalltoLeap
      @CalltoLeap  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn't work that way since this is based on an exponential function. However, you can invest in two assets a month and have double in 30 years. Does that make sense?

      A lot of these funds have overlapping components (ex. MSFT, AAPL, COST, AMZN, GOOGL). You just want to see how much of an emphasis you want within different companies or sectors in the market.

      Yes, time in the market is better than timing the market.
      Do it all at once. Or $5k a week for 6 weeks. But get it all in. And then make regular contributions even if its just $100/month.

    Hello Steve, first of all, I really like your videos and they are very easy to understand. I do have a question though, why is it not a good idea to split up the money into a couple more ETFs? Is it a better idea when you are not putting all the eggs in one basket? Though like you said, they are essentially the same, but some returns are slightly higher than the others. I split my roth ira monthly buy in SCHD, VOO and QQQ, can you please help me to understand better? Thank you very much in advance!
