KALI Academy: What is the struvite effect?

Efficient nitrogen and phosphorus use places a demanding challenge on farmers. One important approach is the additional application of magnesium sulfate as part of combined drill placement. The application of magnesium and sulphur can be applied in one step by using a mixture of ESTA® Kieserit gran. and DAP which can lead to struvite formation. Struvite ensures optimum growth for maize plants from the outset.
