What an Intro! Shocked and worried about such a comment then the part of the journey putting it into context. Absolutely brilliant editing. You seek out all the hidden historical jems. Great viewing.
Thanks, Clive. I've made a few changes to my editing, which not only saves me time, but this helps keep the video more focused on the history. Part two of this video coming soon.
I am also a huge Beatles fan Alice and as an American woman it was a thrill for me to be exactly where you are right now many, many years ago. Always enjoy your wonderful videos.
Oh Billy Fury, I remember him. Yes I am that old 🤣🤣! I guess many will always link London with the Beatles, and for me- Downing Street. I've always wanted to see ad experience London. It's not on Leen's hit list so I will have to be creative to ultimately get there. You've been an amazing guide during this tour. I'm always so impressed with your preparation for these city walks. Loveld being one of your tourist clients. Have a great weekend. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Alice hehe the dog fur coat 😄 Great to see around this part of London, we so love it here though but have only been a few times. So this is the video I've been waiting for, you told me about the Abbey road studios you had visited, sooo interesting, didn't know Edward Elgar recorded here, as well as the Beatles. Loved that you ate a big Beatles fan and got to do the famous walk in the crossing :) That was a really informative tour 👍~ Anna
Hi Alice, Being a bit of a Beatles fan too, this was super interesting Alice - with much else in it too, including Billy Fury, no less! Well done for finding those graves too! Great video. Take care, Paul
When I used to drive for mint mini coaches in Fulham then kilburn park we used to pick up from the American school of London, around the corner from abbey road studio's.plus sir Paul McCartney who is the richest pop Star in the world lives in st John's wood.you probably walked passed his big house not far from the studios.i met him at the royal Albert hall.when I was the driver for the African harmony group Ladysmith black mambazo.i took them to the Albert hall for the Linda McCartney cancer concert and had a VIP ticket as I was there driver/minder the after party was held. At the Portman club . Portman Square. funnily enough when I was using the urinal in the toilet I was having a laugh with the very nice black guy who was the security for the venue.i said wouldn't it be funny if George Micheal was in here . next thing I know a cough came from behind a cubicle door.it did not take me long to get out of there.lol when I was walking up the stairs who shall walk out of the mens toilet only George himself.lol Paul McCartney came and shock my hand for looking after Ladysmith black mambazo very well. I said never a problem.he was a gentleman.and patted me on the shoulder. I was sitting on the same table as Eddie izzard and god rest her soul Sinead o Connor too.she was very friendly and sweet.
