You're looking fairly healthy and lively, I'm happy to see that. I think that this video has the best camera angle yet, and I like the room!

Exactly the info and comparisons I needed! Thanks for this in depth review of the Nano, I got my questions answered I hadn’t from elsewhere. I’ll be looking to purchase this in the next few weeks here.

If you buy the Nano using the APOS link under the video, you can help my TH-cam channel grow.

The edition xs is cheaper than the sundara currently. For that type of value...
Also, how do you compare this to xtc openbacks (1 or 2)? I have the closed backs, but i love how open my sundaras are and looking for something that sound just as open, but better.
I recently got a pair of Sash Tres. Sound is great but doesnt sound as open/ airy as sundara. Driving off of atom 2 dac/amp

I have the JM Audio XTC2 open back. With out a doubt it is better than the Nano, but it is twice the price.

Ty. Would you say it has a wider/ taller soundstage (the xtc)? I'm looking for something that compares to sundara in stage and sparkle (upgraded obiously), but don't care (too much) on price. With all the killer deals hifiman has, I'm just not sure where the best value lies.

@@FlacomanXD The XTC two has a very large soundstage, but a little less treble energy than the Sundara.
If you are looking for an upgrade to the Sundara, the Nano would probably be a good choice.
If money is not an issue, jump all the way up to the Arya Organic $1150.00. It would be a huge step up from the Sundara.

@@theheadphoneexperience-wil2250 thanks again brother. So, to clarify for my taste, you'd recommend the Arya Organic over the xtc2?

      @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@FlacomanXD If you like Hifiman treble, I would go with the Organic. If you want even more bass and a more tame treble, the XTC2 is great. They both have a very large soundstage.
The XTC2 has the most bass, but even the Organic has a lot more bass than the Sundara. The Nano is about half way in between the Sundara and Organic.

Why you can't just admit that you need the best amp and dac you can afford even it is double the money of your headphones becouse it is a big big difference if you suddenly hear your favorite headphones in their full glory, so please stay consistent
To illustrate this I so much hated the treble of Arya Organic on the last year Hifi show in Helsinki, they were driven by Chord Hugo and feamale voices were just horror, but this year was Pass Labs amp and I loved Organic so much , so it's not about wats it's about the amp magic which costs money

I agree that amps and dacs can make a difference, but they make a bigger difference with some headphones than others.

Now that the Nano is down to $419, it makes the choice even harder between this and the Edition XS or Aria Stealth.

Actually extremely easy. Buy the Ananda Nano. Upgrade earpads to ZMF Hifiman+ Subs Perforated earpads. Upgrade the headband by adding a ZMF Co-Pilot pad. Use Oratorys EQ. And watch yourself have your mind blown. Even a non EQd Arya Organic doesn't compete. The slam you get, the musicality and pure emjoyment of the Nano simply wipes the floor with the Arya Organic. No comp. The earpads improve staging, improve slam, improve dynamics, tame the treble yet gives more air. They add a thickness to the sound making the Nano sound more musical and lush. It's truly a massive upgrade. Add in Oratorys EQ, the bass slam is just insane. A non EQd Arya Organic will stage slightly larger and have slighytly more detail. But won't come close with dynamics, bass slam and overall musicality. In comparison. The Arya Organic sounds dead and flat.

@@wrinkleneckbass It depends what you're really looking for. The Arya Stealth is a great headphone. If you really want that little extra bit of staging and detail. Ok go for the Arya. But if you want something musical, highly engaging and fun to listen. Something that slams ans rumbles hard. Truly a musical headphone. The Ananda Nano with the ZMF earpads and Oratorys EQ is extremely hard to beat :)
