hey, great video, thanks for sharing this information. i have the same machine and i repaired some others drills already, but with this one i am having a bit of a struggle. the drill works fine so far only when it is set to the hammer function it makes so ugly noises at higher revolution speeds. it sounds like some gearteeth slipping over or something like that. but with the gearpart open, i can't see any damage. do you have any tipps or suggestions? i would really appreciate your help. thanks!! tom
Hey, just read about your issue, i am experiencing the exactly same problem. Stripped the machine but cannot visualize any issues. It‘s also been running very short operating Hours.. maybe you can share your Fix with me if you managed to fix it?
Hi! I have this kind of drill and it's stop working. I don't know if the switch is the problem because when i try to press the switch the light is turning on. But the unit is not woring or rotating. Do you think you can help me what is the problem this? Thanks. Hope you answet.
My hr2470 works on chisel mode. When hammer drill or drill is selected the chuck rotates, but you can't drill in to material as the chuck stops rotating. Is this worth opening to repair and what parts might be broken
It's worth openingvto check maybe slring ring that hold spring on cylinder is loose and spring can't press clutch gear. You, need to check swash bearing wirh gear and cylinder gear...
So I've opened it up and the culprit was the housing bearing (41 - BALL BEARING 606ZZ). The housing looks to have had a bit of wear, where the bearing sits. As it's an old drill and ain't looking to buy to many parts. Can I get away with filling the area with epoxy resin
Thank you. The video helped to get further.
Thanks man, very helpful 👍👍👍👍👍
You should degrease the mechanical parts before doing the dismantling. It will look s clean and tidy.
