For further adventures, just know lenoir, as well as a lot of the communities in the region are not walkable. If you look up the town you’re visiting make sure to research the local greenways. Typically they’re not on the radar of visitors, but they essentially serve as the major walkable pathways rather than city sidewalks like more urban areas. In lenoir the greenway will take you anywhere in town. Just be wary, lots of homeless rely on those walk ways. They’re not typically dangerous but you never know for certain.
