You must read Pwll Du Remembered by Heather Holt. You’ll understand why the beach is so special. Quarrying and trading with North Devon. I helped to extend one of the houses behind you. The Beaufort Arms and the Ship Inn. The two houses behind you. Both originally pubs to serve the boatmen. In my time there were huge numbers of mackerel. Sometimes three on each spinner. German submarines would surface here to recharge batteries and get fresh water. 👍
Thanks Tim, I enjoyed reading your comment, I always appreciate the local history and I'll look out for that read by Heather Holt. I'm hoping to go back later in the year so that I can take it all in. When I'm filming I'm usually doing five things at once and so I can't always fully appreciate where I am. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍
You're welcome Luke, glad you enjoyed it. Stunning mark in fairness and after 5pm, I had the beach to myself, mad! Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍
What a great place you found it looked peaceful & beautiful plus what a great night's fishing what a great bloke you are your videos are awesome only thing I don't fancy walking home in them woods on my own thanks Gareth Gareth
Thank you Michael. Yes it's a stunning part of the world, it really is, well worth a visit if you get the chance. Ha yes, those woods were a killer, uphill all the day! Cheers bud, enjoy the weekend 👍
You're welcome Andy, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Lovely place in fairness and I'm hoping to give it another go later this winter. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Thank you Paul. I've always wanted to try Pwll Du and thankfully I got around to doing it! Lovely place in fairness, just nice being there. Have a good weekend 👍
You're welcome Richie. Yes the doggies were out in force that evening ha, they certainly kept the rod tips busy! Stunning mark, it really is. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Honestly you have completely got me totally addicted to fishing again got all the gear I mean no idea😂😂 just bought a 103 big fish kayak never been so happy and not to embarrass you it’s all been down to you and your above excellent videos. Thank you so much. Mike
Glad to hear that you're back fishing again Mike, I'm sure you'll have many enjoyable sessions! I wouldn't worry, I still don't know what I'm doing after 38 years of fishing 😂. Thanks bud, nice of you to say 👍
Thank you Darren. This mark is a little gem and I've wanted to fish it for years, I'll hopefully give it another bash later this winter. Cheers as always, take care 👍
I'm.good thanks Carl, hope all is good with you. Yes it's a beautiful place, great for a nice easy session and I think it has lots of potential. Cheers mate, enjoy the weekend 👍
Another amazing video mate, don’t be gone to long mate we all be waiting for your next one 👍🏻 Thanks again for bashing out the videos lately mate they are excellent with brilliant scenery and fishing content.
Thanks Thomas, appreciated as always bud. Haha don't worry, I won't be gone for long, just need to recharge the batteries. Thank you very much for the PayPal donation, much appreciated...I shall put that towards some bait and fuel! Take it easy, enjoy the weekend 👍
Just returned home to France after a trip over to Wales and just catching up on your last two vids Gareth , Yet again two lovely video's with great commentary and some lovely fish caught , looks like the beach down in Swansea the fish were jumping out at you , You must have felt shattered after that session, On another note I visited my home town of Pontypool when I was over and was saddened to see the state of it, and Cwmbran shocked me to see people living in tents in Asda underground car park , sad state of affairs , luckily we have you to brighten up our weekend with those lovely vids, Keep up the good work Gareth, look forward to the next one, Cheers.
Hope you enjoyed your trip Philip. Yes I'm also Pontypool born and bred and still live here, although it's gone to the dogs now, nothing like it used to be and lots of the locals are moving away as it's becoming too intimidating, very sad. Yes Pwll Du is a stunning beach and the fish certainly kept me busy ha, I'll hopefully give it another go before the end of the year, will see what's about then. Che🤣ers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍
Hi Gareth. Nice to see you on my patch. Fished the Gower for many an hour! Did you see what I did there ha ha. Nice to see you have such a good return for your efforts. You must have travelled a good while from home . Come back to See us on the Gower any time. Really enjoyed the vid….thanks again 👍
Haha very good Ronald, very good! Yes it was a nice session in fairness and what a lovely spot, I'm definitely going to give it another go. It's approximately 1hr 40 mins from home, quite a trek but I don't mind every now and then. Thank you as always, I appreciate it 👍
Thank you Steve, appreciated as always. Lovely mark in fairness, I think it has potential and I'll go back later in the year. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍
Thank you Carl, I'm glad I finally gave this mark a go, it's beautiful. All good thanks bud, hope all is well with you and yours. Have a good weekend 👍
It certainly is Ed, a truly beautiful part of the world and the beach is a fairly easy mark to fish. I'm hoping to give it another go later in the year. Thank you, have a good weekend 👍
Recently found your vids Gareth, outstanding mate, not fished for years but am going to start again for the same reasons you do, cracking vids keep um coming.
Thanks mate, I appreciate it. Great to hear that you're getting back into your fishing, nice one. Yes that's it, I just enjoy spending some time next to the water and the fish are just a bonus. Cheers for watching, take it easy 👍
Thank you Carl. I'm not quite sure how I managed to film this one, I was moving back every five minutes with that tide ha! Cheers bud, have a good weekend 👍
Thank you Matt, much appreciated. Beautiful place and I'm glad that I finally gave it a go. Ha yes, I was a little tired at the end, long day. Have a good weekend 👍
Thank you Del. Ha yes, the doggies usually save the day don't they, or the Congers ha! Lovely mark and I can't wait to go back. Cheers bud, take it easy 👍
What a cracking session that was Gareth, loads of bites and plenty of fish on the bank. Such a great looking venue and you captured some beautiful scenery. No congers this time my friend 😊 Tight lines, take care and thankyou for another great video my friend 👍😊
Thank you Peter, it was certainly action packed ha, the doggies were out in force! A stunning place and it was a pleasure being there, I'm definitely going to give it another go, probably off the rocks next to Bantam Bay. No doubt the congers will be back very soon ha! Cheers as always, take care 👍
The Mumble's Marlin has saved many a blank! Great stuff once again Gareth, and what a really pretty beach. I've spent many nights fishing high tides there in the past, bathed in the light of my trusty old Tilley lamp. The walk there is much more fun than the one back!
Haha yes, the Mumbles Marlin is ever present! Thank you, it was a lovely evening in fairness, calm and still with only the sound of the water. Sounds like you have some good memories of fishing there yourself, cracking spot isn't it! Cheers as always bud, have a good weekend 👍
Yes it's a beautiful mark Richard and I think it has potential, I'll probably fish it a little bit differently next time. Thank you, appreciated as always bud 👍
That looks a cracking place to fish Gareth. As you say, fishing isn't like it used to be due to greedy super trawlers. Anything I catch nowadays, like you, I am greatful for. On a lighter note, I see you left Colin the conger at home sleeping. His services to save the blank wasnt required 😂😂. Until the next one. Enjoy your break.
Thanks Andy, it was a lovely session in fairness, what a stunning place, I can't wait to go back. Yes I gave Colin the Conger the night off, I thought he deserved a rest but he'll be with me on the next session I'm sure!! Cheers bud, have a good weekend 👍
Great vlog, have a great break..... Funny true story, in 1991 bait digging at Hillhead, Hampshire... 3 am.... Headlamp, fork, etc... 2 policemen walked up to me... What are you doing, I'm bait digging... Ah yes but why now... Which I said,,,,, it's a lot easier with the tide out... Posh houses on the front saw a light on the beach and phoned the police 😂😂😂😂🇫🇷🇫🇷
Ha, that is a funny story Albert, very good indeed, talk about wasted police time! The posh folk often wonder why us anglers are out at strange times, I've been asked similar questions in the past but thankfully, no police so far 😂. Hope all is good with you, thanks for watching 👍
Thank you Nathan, it was an enjoyable evening in fairness, especially when the wind dropped down to nothing. Lovely place and I can't wait to go back. You too mate, enjoy 👍
Smashed it out the park yet again Gareth. Great little session my kind of fishing . Enjoy your little break in the shepherd's hut u deserve it. That was a stunning beach by the way
Thank you Gary, appreciated as always. Yes it's a beautiful place and it was a pleasure being there, the fish were a bonus. The shepherds hut was really nice, small but cosy and the wood stove gave off some nice heat. Have a good weekend 👍
Thanks Anthony, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Filming this one was tricky as I was constantly moving up the beach but I didn't mind as it's such a beautiful location, just nice being there. I'll try to remember to give you a glimpse of the rigs. There's also some diagrams of the rigs I use in an old video from a couple of years ago - Fishing on the River Usk Mouth. The diagrams appear 2:44 into the video, hopefully you'll find them useful. Cheers as always, take it easy 👍
❤Great session you enjoy making it we defo enjoy watching. You say about the super trawlers I see a program were a Scottish trawler took 1300 tonnes of mackerel to Norway that has got to make a big dent in stock
Thanks John. Yes I think I saw the same documentary as you, disgusting isn't it. They say it's sustainable but it's anything but, shocking really and quite disgraceful. Cheers bud, hope you're feeling better 👍
I'm good thanks Tone, hope you're well mate. Ha yes, they certainly did keep me busy that evening, must have been hundreds out there! Lovely place in fairness and I'll look forward to going back. Cheers mate, see you out there 👍
Once again a cracking video Gareth, Blimey you were kept busy, a fish a chuck and a few doubles and a treble 😳 wow Nice part of the world down on the Gower, I was there for a week earlier on in the year but the weather certainly didn’t play ball, Thanks for sharing it with us all Ps you should have gone to farm foods 🦐 lol
Haha thanks Nigel, I probably had 30 or more fish that evening, it was instant action every cast, it was enjoyable to be fair. Ah yes I remember you saying that you were down there when the weather was bad, hopefully you can give it another go at some point. I did go to Farmfoods for the prawns but they said that you bought them all, unbelievable!! Cheers bud, enjoy the weekend 👍
Cracking session Gareth with stunning scenery too. The Gower is a beautiful part of the world. I didn't know Wales has the equivalent of a Blackpool too. I have been wracking my brain all morning trying to do the maths to try and understand what happened with the 3 fish on 2 hooks haha. Have a great weekend. Hope you made the most of your days off work!!
Thank you for the donation David, much appreciated...this will go towards some new batteries for my camera. Yes the Gower is stunning and it never gets too busy, that's a great bonus! Ha I haven't worked it out either, one of life's mysteries and I doubt I'll ever see it again! I did thanks, I chopped up more wood for this winter and I made a load of rigs. Hope all is good with you, have a nice weekend 👍
Good to see you catching and looks a superb place. I had my first session of the Autumn on the Humber last week but no Cod for me but no blank and had 3 good Flounder
Nice one Gareth, nice to see you down near my part of the world. Plenty of woofers to keep you busy, plus whiting and huss . Fishing my local beach tomorrow. (Cefn sidan). Hopefully some bass. Another great video. All the best from south west Wales 👍
Thanks bud. It was a nice evening in fairness, such a picturesque place. Good luck down at Cefn Sidan tomorrow, I'm sure there will be a few Bass about! I've not fished it for years, I must give it another go. Cheers for watching and tight lines 👍🐟
Another great video Gareth, well done with the 3 fish on 2 hooks 🤣🤣, looking forward to your next outing, if you need a break, take it, at the end of the day your health is most important, take care buddy til next time 😊😊
Thank you Derrick, what a lovely place, I can't wait to go back. Ha yes, I couldn't believe it when I caught those three fish on the two hooks, it made me chuckle! Yes I'll take a week or two out, making fishing videos is intense and sometimes you have to leave it alone for a bit. Cheers bud, take care 👍
Thank you Carl. First time I fished at this place, it really was beautiful and I'll hopefully give it another go before the end of the year. Cheers for watching, I appreciate it 👍
Gareth thanks for taking me back there! we used to camp out on the east side where the river flows, we did try make a vid there 2 years ago but the mark was full of Gorse bushes , 14 years old i can remember catching 5 lb ish Huss and shouting to the boys i got a fkn Shark! thanks bro love to Cath n all XX
You're welcome Matt, stunning place isn't it and I can see why you camped there, nice! Can't argue with a 5lb Huss, lovely fish in fairness, well done. After 5pm ish, I had the entire beach to myself, weird but nice. Hope all is good with you and the family and I hope you've been wetting a line or two. See you on the beach son, take care ❤️
I haven't fished Pwlldu for 35yrs. Doggies and Bass were all we caught there and I ended up having more fun catching the trout in the stream some pushed 1lb. Thanks for reminding me of some old memories 👍🏻
Thanks Andrew, I'm pleased that the video brought back some good memories for you. Ha yes, that stream did look good and I thought there may have been some nice trout in there! Cheers for watching, take care 👍
What a great video mate as the last two which didn’t comment on stunning little beach instead of walking up the hill through the woods should have gone over to that White House see if they had a spare bed haha looking forward to seeing the next one
Haha yes, I should have asked...the lights were on and so I bet they had rooms available! Yes it's a beautiful beach, such a nice place to be and I'm definitely going to give it another go, most probably off the rocks. Always appreciated bud, have a good weekend 👍
I have never been sea fishing; I usually fly fish rivers and lakes plus a bit of course fishing. I really enjoy your presentation skills and the simple pleasure you make sea fishing look. Also enjoy the visuals and photography you show. Nice work.
Thank you Adam, much appreciated. I enjoy capturing the scenery and being close to the water, it's very much part of a day's fishing for me, I guess the fish are just a bonus. I also do a bit of fly and coarse, although I mostly go sea fishing these days. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍
Great video Gareth love it thanks for making my weekend, have to take my Welsh grandson all the places you fish as well North Somerset we're I live, When he is little bit older I've got the love for Sea fishing again through your videos
You're welcome Bruce, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Such a lovely spot in fairness and I'll definitely be going back. Sounds like you'll have many enjoyable fishing sessions with your grandson, lots to look forward to. I love North Somerset, some great marks. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
@riversidewithme lived in Cornwall fishing everywhere but harder as time went by From Newquay headland to The lizard ,Penzance Bay give up with no fish 😕
@bruceremnant1111 Yes it's such a shame that fish stocks are not what they were. I hope some species will make a comeback one day, if commercial overfishing is ever stopped!
Hi Gareth brilliant video again always looking forward to them.. fish in my blood most of my family done it back in the day but now my brother pass away about 5 years and my dad went a year ago so now I go by self but it not the same with out them when u talking about your dad it brings tears to my eyes coz I lost my dad back last year and just like your self he took me to all the marks tha I know now so when I go to them I think all the good memories we had.. tight lines, buddy
Thank you Jon, appreciated as always. I'm sorry to hear that your dad and brother are no longer with us, I can appreciate that it's not easy at times, especially when you go to the places where you spent happy times together. Sounds like you have many great memories and those memories will last a lifetime. Cheers bud, take it easy 👍
Brilliant footage Gareth, and a good bit of fishing to go with it! My memories of pwl du was a very long walk to the beach, but it was worth it, absolutely beautiful beach. Enjoy your couple of weeks off, but PLEASE come back. Have a great weekend ❤
Thank you Patricia, nice of you to say. Lovely place isn't it, absolutely stunning in fairness. Ha yes it does require a good walk, the locals tell me it's a good 40 minutes from Caswell Bay, but worth it as you say! I'll definitely be back, no doubt about it! Have a nice weekend 👍
Lovely session mate and the views are wonderfull those rod tips get me twitchy just watching them.I had two whiting on one hook last year it left me scratching my head as well I will be looking forward to the next one many thanks and tight lines
Thanks Daniel, it was an enjoyable evening in fairness, stunning mark and I can't wait to go back for another go. Ah nice, so you've also managed to catch two fish on one hook, mad isn't it ha! Cheers as always, take care 👍
What a beautiful place Gareth, thanks for sharing. Appreciate the trek with the gear and all the hassle of filming with constant doggy bites! That looks like a special spot to me. Glad you got away from it all for a couple of days 😊 Have a good weekend 🎣
Thank you Andy. Yes it's a stunning spot and I had the entire place to myself from early evening onwards, I couldn't fault it to be honest. I'll give it another go later in the year, see what's about then. You too, have a good one, enjoy 👍
I'm pleased to hear that Mark, thank you! Lovely place in fairness, I had the entire beach to myself during the evening, unbelievable. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Wow Gareth I loved this video , you must have been shattered, I bet you slept well, too many fish for me to count, but what a session, really enjoyed the video well done bud, hope you and the family are well, take care and stay safe 👍🏻
Thank you John. Ha yes it was a long day and I did sleep a little better than usual, the sea air must have helped! Beautiful beach in fairness, it was an absolute pleasure being there and I can't wait to go back. Hope all is good with you bud, enjoy the weekend 👍
The puzzled look on your face while reeling in the tripple was a picture! i could see you trying to guess what it was from the feel and not being able to work it out!! You where rewarded for your efforts on this session Gareth, well deserved!!
Haha yes, the triple certainly caused some confusion, felt odd winding them in! Lovely place in fairness and it was a pleasure being there, beautiful. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍
Thanks Neil, it certainly is a beautiful place and I think it has potential, lots of nice features towards the needles, worth another go! Hope all is good with you, enjoy the weekend 👍
Awesome fishing session there Gareth mate and to have a triple hook up and reclaim someone else's line thats absolutely awesome night take care and have a banging weekend mate👍🙂👍🎣
Cheers Simon, appreciated as always. What a lovely mark, I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Yes I was pleased when I retrieved all of that line from the sea, it felt good you know. You too bud, have a great one 👍🐟
Thanks Andrew. Lovely place isn't it, wish I discovered it years ago. The rocks to the west looked very appealing, I'll definitely give these a try! Cheers as always, take care 👍
Welcome to my neck of the woods. Swansea bay is full of dogs probably will get a 100 per trip on the boat. I find them a pain like you say they are on the baits before the other fish get a chance. We get some half tidy pollock near the two rock points. Excellent video Gareth pwll du is a stunning place steeped in history it’s worth a read up
Thank you Scott. Yes it certainly is a beautiful location, one of the prettiest I've fished. The local farmer was telling me all about the local history, very interesting as you say and I'll definitely be going back. Ha yes the dogfish were out there in huge numbers that night, no wonder you get 100 a session on the boat! Maybe I'll try the rocky ground next time at Bantam Bay, see what's about over there. Cheers bud, care 👍
Ahh the dreaded Swansea salmon lol, great session buddy. I’m heading to new passage in a few weeks for a low water cod session, fingers crossed we find a few. Will upload a video regardless. Tight lines my friend
Ha yes, they were everywhere that evening! Lovely place though and it was a nice little session in fairness. Hope you have a good session at new passage, I'll look out for the video. Thanks Craig 👍
Another great video Gareth, love the enthusiasm and just the general chit chat about fishing, life etc. nice mixed bag of fish to keep you busy and I bet that walk soon warmed you up before you got back to the lodge 👍🏻 keep the videos coming mate love them and you’ll soon be at 10k subs surely 👍🏻
Thanks Marc, it was a lovely evening, what a beautiful place. The doggies and huss kept me busy, the water must have been black with them ha! The walk back was a killer but that warm stove made me feel a little better ha! I want to give this venue another crack, lots of potential I think. Cheers bud, enjoy the weekend 👍
great few catches mate! lovely mark too, might have to pop down on the weekend, i always look forward to your videos on a friday. everyones a good watch 👍
Thank you Keiran, I appreciate it. Yes it's a beautiful spot, I've always wanted to give it a go. Nice little session, the doggies kept me busy ha, I couldn't complain. Cheers bud, take it easy 👍
Haha thanks Jeff, the 3 for 2 offer was a nice little bonus, I couldn't complain. Lovely place, it really is and I can't wait to give it another go later this winter. Hope all is good with you and yours, enjoy the weekend 👍
This time last year Gareth I came across your videos. If you can remember my darling wife had to be rushed to the specialist neuro hospital in Dublin with a bleed on the brain. I had trouble sleeping and your vids helped me relax and calm down. You were a Godsend Gareth and I cannot thank you enough , I truly cannot. My wife has recovered well now , and has surprised her medical team with how well she has. God bless you Gareth for helping me through that dreadful time . x
@jeffdelacruz5818 Yes I remember it very well Jeff, it was most definitely a tough time for you all. Great news that your wife has made a recovery, must have been such a relief. I'm glad the videos helped you to relax, that's great to hear, hopefully more to come. Take care and God bless
Great to see u out again Gareth and more importantly enjoying ursel busy old session and as always captured beautifully. Looks a stunning location hope have a grt couple days. U take a brk from all these filming sessions u do for our enjoyment we ll all be here eagerly waiting Ur return my friend Ur well being is far more important tight lines Gareth see u bk fresh and strong ❤
Thank you John, appreciated as always. It certainly was a busy session, non stop at times ha, it was an enjoyable evening at a beautiful location, I can't wait to go back. Yes I'll probably have a little break soon, the batteries need recharging but I'll be back, no problem there. Hope all is good with you, have a good weekend and take care 👍
You say it eerie a press-gang ship sank there in that bay the bodies that were washed up were buried on the hill to your right facing the sea. I can’t remember the amount that drowned 40 or 80 were buried on the cliff side. And of course the houses down there were pubs for the quarry workers working the cliffs. How times have now changed. There is a lot of history in that bay. The name Pwll du means Blackpool when translated. After the pool that builds up behind the pebbles behind the beach. The pebbles are there from the ships that dropped their ballast to take the quarried stone back to Devon or Cornwall. As I say a lot of history. Ps I stand corrected on any of the above if not exactly right.
Thanks Mike, I always enjoy hearing about the local history. What you have said is definitely correct as the local farmer said exactly the same when I was there, eye-opening isn't it. I tried looking for the ring rock but I couldn't see it, then again I was rushing and so I'll have a proper look next time. Cheers 👍
Great stuff!I have just discovered you're channel. Luvly. A fishermen all my life. But haven't been fishing for a while..many years. Both myself and my wife love you're videos . A real wind down after the day. Keep going i think you are relieving stress from many people! Cheers.
Thanks bud, I appreciate that, nice of you to say. I bet you have some great memories of your fishing days, no doubt lots of stories to tell! I'm pleased to hear that both you and your wife enjoy the videos, that's great. Thank you for watching, take care 👍
Thank you for another fantastic video mate. You really do brighten up my week. My kit is nearly all up together so hopefully I'll be out at BlackRock before Christmas.
You're welcome John. Thank you, it was an enjoyable session at a beautiful place, I couldn't complain. Nice, I love BlackRock, one of my favourites, I hope you have a good session! Enjoy the weekend 👍
Thank you Christopher, it was certainly a busy session and the mark is beautiful, one of the prettiest I've seen. I haven't fished the Lougher for years, I'll have to give it another go one day. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Cheers Gareth … Always exciting to fish a new mark. It’s not knowing what’s out there that’s what I love about sea fishing. I’m still like a little kid when the rod tip goes. Do you think us fishermen ever grow up. Enjoyed the video as always Gareth take care mate. 👍🎣🎣
I don't think we'll ever grow up Stephen, those bouncing rod tips will always keep us excited, as if we were in a sweet shop ha! Yes I'm glad I fished this place, it's been on my to do list for a long time! Enjoy the weekend bud 👍
Nice mark Gareth, if a bit of a trek. I found a back rest fitted to the box allows you to carry it "rucksack style"and frees up both hands. I find it makes life a little easier especially over rough ground. Brave of you to fish an unknown mark in the dark and film at the same time mate.
Yes it's a lovely place David, I couldn't believe that I had the entire place to myself from evening onwards! Ah yes I've seen the back rest, the problem is that I'm too set in my ways and don't like to change ha, although I appreciate your suggestion. Infact, I'll look into it! Hope all is good with you, enjoy the weekend 👍
Terrible isn't it William, I can't believe it still goes on. Thank you, it was a beautiful evening in fairness, I couldn't complain. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Brilliant session Gareth. We love going down the Gower. I’ve done some lure fishing, with no luck sadly, but great to see this and your other videos on the area.
Thanks Chris, it was an enjoyable session in fairness, such a beautiful place. Yes I love the Gower too, wished I lived a little closer ha! My video tomorrow is of another Gower mark, first time I fished it. Cheers as always, take care 👍
@ brilliant Gareth, I cannot wait. Living so far away from the sea in deepest Yorkshire, sea fishing is few and far between, but me and my mate get together every Friday after the kids are down for a few beers and a catch up on the weeks TH-cam fishing vids. Always look forward to yours buddy
Another brilliant video Gareth thanks mate!!!!😊
You're welcome Derek. Thank you for watching, much appreciated 👍
Thanks again gar for a great watch again love these Friday night videos now they are good for sole. Thanks

Thank you Michael. Yes it's a stunning part of the world, it really is, well worth a visit if you get the chance. Ha yes, those woods were a killer, uphill all the day! Cheers bud, enjoy the weekend 👍

Glad to hear that you're back fishing again Mike, I'm sure you'll have many enjoyable sessions! I wouldn't worry, I still don't know what I'm doing after 38 years of fishing 😂. Thanks bud, nice of you to say 👍
Well done gareth all the work you put in is very appreciated butty 👏👏👏👏
Thank you Darren. This mark is a little gem and I've wanted to fish it for years, I'll hopefully give it another bash later this winter. Cheers as always, take care 👍

Thank you David. Yes I was very impressed with this mark and I'll definitely be going back. Hope you have a good session this weekend. Cheers bud 👍
Another amazing video mate, don’t be gone to long mate we all be waiting for your next one 👍🏻
Thanks again for bashing out the videos lately mate they are excellent with brilliant scenery and fishing content.
Thank you as always, I appreciate it 👍
Thank you for taking me on another great adventure the sound of that surf is awesome and well done with the catch
You're welcome Walter, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes I agree, it's such a soothing sound. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Stunning scenery, looks a lovely venue, the markings on that first Huss were great. Enjoyed that, cheers.
Thanks Russ, it certainly is a lovely venue, I definitely want to give it another go at some point. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Thank you Gareth keep them coming, was feeling a bit low but was great watch ,thank you .
Hi Richard, I'm glad the video made you feel a little better, that's good to hear. Enjoy the weekend, take care 👍
Well done Gareth new venue plenty of fish nice to see the Bull Huss thanks as always for the time and effort that you put in to give us a great watch.
Thank you Steve, appreciated as always. Lovely mark in fairness, I think it has potential and I'll go back later in the year. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍
Yet again a brilliant watch mate, hope you and the family are all ok and you enjoy your break from filming and we’ll see you soon 🙂
Thank you Carl, I'm glad I finally gave this mark a go, it's beautiful. All good thanks bud, hope all is well with you and yours. Have a good weekend 👍
Top fishing again and a surperb video from a top man well done
Thank you Dai, I appreciate that. Lovely mark in fairness and I'll definitely give it another go later this year. Cheers for watching 👍
What a beautiful place. A nice few fish, and especially good to catch at a new mark.
Guy Deb's bristol enjoying the video's 👍🎣 always a good watch thanks Gareth 👍
Thanks bud, appreciated as always. This mark is lovely and I want to go back later this year, if possible. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍
Hi garath
Thank you for sharing and taking us to nice places
You're welcome Nigel. Such a beautiful spot, it felt good being there. Thank you for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍
Brilliant mate. I admire you fella, u do a great job. 3 fish on 2 hooks was a good effort! Thx for sharing 🎣👍
Thank you Carl. I'm not quite sure how I managed to film this one, I was moving back every five minutes with that tide ha! Cheers bud, have a good weekend 👍
Fantastic Well done Gareth. What a session. You looked exhausted by the end of the session. Yet another enjoyable watch. Thank you.
Thank you Matt, much appreciated. Beautiful place and I'm glad that I finally gave it a go. Ha yes, I was a little tired at the end, long day. Have a good weekend 👍
Well done gareth the old dogfish has saved a blank many a time, glad you had some fish keep up the good work mate
Loads of fish 🎣 and looks like a mark you picked. Well done Gareth .
Hi Gareth mate well done on another brilliant video...I always enjoy watching them have a nice weekend mate
Yet again another great video
Keep em coming
Thank you Dai. It was a pleasant evening in fairness, such a lovely mark. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
As always a great episode! Regards
Thank you Pawel, it was an enjoyable evening, I couldn't complain. Take care 👍
Hi Gaz great vid as usual, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did watching.
Cheers bud, hope you're feeling better 👍
hiya mate , hope your all well gar , they kept you busy on that session chap great watch gar see you soon mate
I'm good thanks Tone, hope you're well mate. Ha yes, they certainly did keep me busy that evening, must have been hundreds out there! Lovely place in fairness and I'll look forward to going back. Cheers mate, see you out there 👍
Once again a cracking video Gareth,
Blimey you were kept busy, a fish a chuck and a few doubles and a treble 😳 wow
Nice part of the world down on the Gower, I was there for a week earlier on in the year but the weather certainly didn’t play ball,
Thanks for sharing it with us all
Ps you should have gone to farm foods 🦐 lol
Haha thanks Nigel, I probably had 30 or more fish that evening, it was instant action every cast, it was enjoyable to be fair. Ah yes I remember you saying that you were down there when the weather was bad, hopefully you can give it another go at some point. I did go to Farmfoods for the prawns but they said that you bought them all, unbelievable!! Cheers bud, enjoy the weekend 👍

😂😂
Sorry I missed last week's episode. We were away for a few days.
@davidwilliams6525 No worries, hope you had a good time 🙂
Good to see you catching and looks a superb place. I had my first session of the Autumn on the Humber last week but no Cod for me but no blank and had 3 good Flounder
Well done, sounds like you had a good session with those three Flounders on the Humber, always nice to see. Thanks for watching bud, take care 👍
Great video Gareth well done on all the fish Iam off 2 the white lighthouse in Barry 6:03am
Thanks bud, appreciated as always! Good luck down at the White Light in Barry, that's one of my favourite spots! Tight lines 👍🐟
Thanks for a great watch ......
You're welcome Andy, thank you. Have a good weekend bud 👍
That was a great video , you fish some lovely marks, and always nice to see the😊 scenery 😊😊
@@riversidewithme X
Stunning location, Gareth. Great video, as always. Have a great break. Cheers and tight lines.
Thank you Nick, appreciated as always. Yes it's beautiful, it really is and I can't wait to give it another go. Have a good weekend 👍

@@riversidewithme you're more than welcome
Great watch again gareth made my weekend ta mark cdf x

Great video Gareth. Looks a great mark that one mate. Lovely to catch different species. You surely had a good session. BRILLIANT..... 😊
Thanks Neil, it certainly is a beautiful place and I think it has potential, lots of nice features towards the needles, worth another go! Hope all is good with you, enjoy the weekend 👍

Cracking video Gareth always a pleasure to watch ❤
Thanks Leighton, appreciated as always bud. Stunning mark, was a pleasure being there. Have a good weekend, take care 👍

Very true Richard, very true indeed. I like the simple life, that's good enough for me. Cheers bud 👍
Great video again Gareth 👏 3 fish on 2 hooks. Show off 😅 I'm chuffed with 1 fish on 4 hooks 😂

Cheers 👍
great video again gareth
Thank you Luke, appreciated as always bud. Cheers for watching, take it easy 👍
Great stuff!I have just discovered you're channel. Luvly. A fishermen all my life. But haven't been fishing for a while..many years. Both myself and my wife love you're videos . A real wind down after the day. Keep going i think you are relieving stress from many people! Cheers.

Just magic.
Thanks Jason, the place is certainly magic, absolutely beautiful! Cheers as always, take it easy 👍
Well done Gareth.. I agree with you about the mostly foreign? factory ships taking fish from UK waters... Great vid takecare fella.
