This is simply not true. All that has changed is whats considered modern pop and what they play on the radio. Which tends to DRASTICALLY change generation to generation since forever. lol We now live in a day where ALL music is INSTANTLY accessible. There are plenty of artists who make music like this. Because the radio and whats considered popular will be heavily influenced by what young people are listening to. You can start by using whatever you listen to music with and there is usually a section where they recommend artists based on the one you're listening to. There is literally no better time to be a music lover, and there are tons of amazing artists out there for you to find, no matter what sort of music you like. And its never been easier to broaden your musical tastes and to find new music.

All these artists aren’t there for talent but there because they’re a bad influence to the world and the new generation. There’s no point in thinking that this music maybe will come back. Now you don’t hear actual woman with great vocals but they’re famous. These are classic R&B artist. Only the classic grown woman know that this music isn’t in this generation. The setup, the execution, the music, the voice, the backup vocals, this song is the finest wine, a pristine meal, a Hemingway book, and a Rembrandt painting in the musical form. Perfection

Don’t forget, you can become a better singer from scratch as long as you practice consistently. 🤷🏽♀️ try ✨

I care cos it represents a dying spirit otherwise
The fact that this song is now 20 years old hits deep.
What??! Is it?!?! How the heck?! 😱
Me: 22 🤭😨🙇🏾♀️
I was today years old when I found out that Alicia is vocalizing the entire song, even the background vocals!!
as a 23 year old i can tell you that i love those NYC 2000‘s vibes cause i heard those songs as a little kid without couldn‘t even thinking this just makes me happy
What does being 23 have to do with anything?
Same bro. I'm in that same age bracket!
This is when she was at her best for me. I still love her, but early Alicia just hits different.
Agreeeeeeeee 100%
Facts!!!
Artists grow, like everyone. Things change.
I agree, but she keeps making good, different, but good music. Love her
useless comparison
I remember listening to this on the radio when it came out. It would be on every morning as my mom drove me to school. How fast 20 years goes by!
20 years seems like today
I need a 🤗
Flew by right.
Same here! I was a freshman in high school and every morning this would be on the radio in my first period art class that was pretty much just a study hall because of renovations inside the building.
I remember my grandpa asking me who I want to be when I grow up? And I said “Alicia Keys” & he play this song on his huge stereo set up. Love you & miss you ❤️
The setup, the execution, the music, the voice, the backup vocals, this song is the finest wine, a pristine meal, a Hemingway book, and a Rembrandt painting in the musical form. Perfection
I cannot believe that this song is almost 20 years old.. Time has passed so quickly.
Yet it hasn't aged a bit...
I mean it's 9 years till 20
wow wow, slowly please, just 19, don't be so pessimistic
not almost 20, it cannot be ^^
I was in college ( in France, 13 years old) , that's a revelation that I can't forget, what a woman, what a voice, ..... all my support for this twentieth year

Man she's not black... She's mixed but that's true I love black people's voice! Those are the best.
Nicole Gallego everyone originated from black people.. so she kinda is..
I was talking about everyone in the video...
I don't care what her blood is. Her soul is great
Then I guess I'm black... Wow, my dream has become true 😁black people are the best I don't really know how can people be so racist to them...
This shows how talented Written a song like this when she was that young and nobody could have pulled off a better version by singing this amazing song than Alicia Keys. This song will always be considered a big hit.

2024 & I'm still here bumping to this who's with me?
Alicia Keys , Mary J Blige , Aaliyah , Fantasia & Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey were the best female R&b singers to me 😩‼️🤷🏽♀️
Agree. Also, Brandy, Tamia, Jojo and Jazmine Sullivan
Beyonce!
Trini b She alright but back then she was with Destiny’s Child . I’m talking about Solo back then
Kelsi Bryant okay that's your opinion not bad but you are missing Whitney Houston , Toni Braxton & Janet Jakson
For me too woahhh but principally alicia and jennifer Hudson
I keep on fallin'
In and out of love
With you
Sometimes I love ya
Sometimes you make me blue
Sometimes I feel good
At times I feel used
Lovin' you darlin'
Makes me so confused
I keep on fallin' in and out
Of love with you
I never loved someone
The way that I love you
Oh, oh, I never felt this way
How do you give me so much pleasure
And cause me so much pain? (Yeah, yeah)
Just when I think
I've taken more than would a fool
I start fallin' back in love with you
I keep on fallin' in and out
Of love with you
I never (uh huh) loved someone (someone)
The way that I (way I) love you (uh, uh)
Oh, baby
I, I, I, I'm fallin'
I, I, I, I'm fallin'
Fall, fall, fall (sing)
Fall
I keep on fallin' in and out (out)
Of love (love) with you (with you)
I never (never) loved someone (loved)
The way that I (I) love you
I'm fallin' in and out
Of love (of love) with you (with you)
I never (no) loved someone (no, no)
The way that I (uh) love you
I'm fallin' in and out
Of love (of love) with you (with you)
I never (no) loved someone (no, no)
The way that I (uh) love you
What?
That was me and my husband together 31 years 14 years married, he departed this life last year and I still feel the same
Sounds like ain't never loved a man (the way I love you) by queen Aretha Franklin
