Anya's eyes are AMAZING! She says so much with just her eyes. Perfect casting for a young Furiosa!

@@alexsilva28 Thats a good thing Charlize is not believable as an action star to me, shes better at playing the girlfriend, or victimized women not hero types her best work is victim roles easy, pretty woman but shes not Ellen Ripley at all.
When "FURIOSA" comes out in May 2024, it will be exactly "45 Years" since "MAD MAX" was released in May 1979.!

I remember how much you loved the last trailers! Ive seen every Mad Max in the theaters and wont miss this one. Also have 4k blue ray Fury Road and an LG G2 to get lost in the picture. Its fantastic.

People keep saying that there is too much CGI now but I honestly can´t tell that much of a difference compared to Fury Road. Maybe I´m just not that sensitive to CGI, not sure.
No your not wrong. It has the same exact look as Fury Road. It's just part of the crazy style of these movies. I'm sure some of it will get cleaned up but most of it is very intentional.

The CGI is very noticeable in Fury Road, more so in its trailers. Perhaps they're still working on it. Either way the film looks great.

He also said it’s one of the projects he is most proud of.

So happy to see Chris Hemsworth well and working on things he is so happy and proud about. Wishing this lovely crazy aussie a good health. Also the thing about Oppenheimer being in IMAX is not for the landscape, Nolan understands, and i agree with it, that the IMAX format was intended to serve the actors and project their craft in close ups a la Persona, or even a more commercial example of Joker. We should be more open the use of IMAX for things other than sprawling and overwhelming landscapes. And for Oppenheimer is did helped when used for the more intimate personal moments of Cillian portraying the inner conflicts of a man with all that weight on his conscience. With Furiosa, i suspect Miller felt the 2.39 was his preferred way of giving a horizontal stretch to his screen and intentional, and not just a financial limitation on a risky project.
Please give us a Blu ray tour. Please it would make my year. The best present ever as I have been following you since 2015 or 2016. And I really like you, and you and achara mean a lot to me
You love The Fall (2006), Jaby? Good taste, brother. 🇵🇭 It's one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. No CGI. Tarsem took 4 years to make that film using real locations. The scene with the elephant swimming was gorgeous. And it has such a sweet story and ending underneath all that beauty.

I prefer the old DVDs with 5 hours of special features, the Blurays with some special features are ok. But every 4K discs ive bought have no special features in them
The trailer is stylish (it gives off some edgar wright vibes) and the colors pop. I wasn't a huge fan of mad max. I mean, it looked gorgeous, but the story was a bit lame and predictable. I hope this story matches the star power. Big fan of taylor-joy. Will be interested in seeing her flex her acting chops in a pure action film.

Dude! IMAX is the biggest pain in the ass to film. The cameras are these monstrous relics that haven't changed in 60 years. You would have to ADR all the actor's voices, because the cameras are so loud. That's why no one films entire movies in IMAX.
My only complaint is that it looks like they used cgi too heavily. But I might give them a pass as this was likely filmed during Covid protocols

I feel like this is not going to be good. The Mas Max Fury Road Movie was amazing because the plot, the casting and the direction were stunning. Then they announced a new movie and everybody was excited. However it took them a decade to write a new script and settle their inner battles. Then they said that it was going to be about Furiosa, which although Ed Hardy killed it as Max, we all know that Charlize Theron stole that movie... but then they decided to change the direction again, a guess to focus in female empowerment which I get because Furiosa is an amazing character.
Which take us to now. Not only they re casted choosing Anya as the leading character instead of Charlize and Ed, but they added Chris Handsworth who although has charisma, couldn't do an accent to save his own life and has no acting chops. I hope they have an awesome script because something tells me it will suck.
This is young Furiosa. Charlize Theron is almost 50.

Am I the only person who thinks this looks... not great? Part of the appeal of Fury Road was the practical effects and stunt-work. And yeah, while there's some filtering and coloring involved... it all looked well blended and crisp. This is just so... oversaturated and digital looking. Even some of the cars are CG. And Hemsworth's character is such a strange choice...

Thunderdome was rubbish (yes we aussies can flog dead horses too) and Fury Road was a woke piece of crap making the women the stars. Just like every other franchise the yanks tried to make a buck from by doing their version of it, they killed it. Hype, wow, never had that for a sequel/prequel before. How do you make a bad franchise, give the yanks a good one and sit back and wait.

@@Nishanth_mementomori I saw this on the trailers official page too, a bunch of people suddenly acting like fury road was pandering garbage or something when I haven't seen a single person or rating for the movie that wasn't incredibly high praise. Bunch of weirdo's trying to make out that it was always hated or a bad movie.
The funniest was a guy saying "Did they learn nothing from Fury road?!?!?!" as if the whole reason this story and this character exist isn't because Fury Road was awesome and Furiousa wasn't a stand out part of it. It really shows how people live in their own bubbles on the internet surrounded by people who agree with them so they think reality is like that.
