@swc789rjp Point of clarification: some of the Protestant denominations abandoned set liturgies, but most around the time of the Reformation held on to them, at least for a while. Several kept the liturgies and continue to use derivations of them. The Lutheran Divine Service, for example, is still based on the Catholic pre-tridentine mass.

This is a Presbyterian church. The cross is never covered, there is no celebrant, altar party, nor liturgy. Basic for of service: call to worship, opening hymn, Scripture reading, prayers, another hymn or anthem by choir, sermon, prayer, closing hymn, or some variation of these.

The arrangement is not so bad - but the procession is horrible! Should not the palms have been blessed and given to the choir BEFORE the procession? I think the cross on the Altar should still be veiled at this point - and where is the celebrant and altar party? Bad liturgy.
