First of all, thank you RIP for uploading all these episodes! Second of all, I'm surprised her children haven't been taken away for living in such squalor!
I feel so sorry for the little girl. She knows what state the rest of the house is and she's doing the best she can not to let her own room get in the same state, but there's only so much she can do.
246kisses Same here! It is extremely motivational for me. Instant springcleaning gets going at my place! I have severe health problems including mobility issues and there absolutely no ways I would let my home get like any of these places!!
The woman seems ill or depressed or something from the slow slurry way she speaks. The dirty house is just the symptom, they need to go into the causes more.
There is a difference between these people and hoarders. Hoarders have an emotional attachment to things, and anxiety when you try to get rid of ANYTHING. These people obviously don't have any problem letting these people clean out their house. Believe me, I know someone who is a boarder, it is NOT the same thing.
I feel the same way! Hoarders would all be tip toeing around the slobs. Hoarders needs those ladies to come in and squeal and tell those so-called "hoarders" what they really are!
I knew a hoarder who had everything boxed up in matching boxes and neatly labeled. He could not use the house as a house he unrolled a mat by the boxes by the door to sleep but it was as neat and organized as a pin. he had a small path through the stacks of boxes to walk through and dust.
I love this show. If this was on TLC they'd be going on about how the people are hoarders with a mental condition etc etc. Kim and Aggie just tell it like it is, that the people are dirty and lazy.
That's true in some cases, but in other cases people do clean their houses. In fact, because hoarding is a form of OCD, some people hoard and then obsessively clean.
I've watched so many of these I'm becoming desensitized to the point that this one doesn't look too bad. I know logically that it is, but some of the filth from the other shows has gotten into my brain or something!
Ew. I feel bad for the apartments around theirs, becuase you know those bugs travel around to other people's homes too. And also that girl, because obviously, she'e the only one that cared enough to clean and keep her room clean.
Ya, a bit like child abuse..they could get seriously sick!!!!DefinitelyNEGLECT!Here in Canada someone would have called the Ministry for Child Protection and unfotyunately she may have had her kids taken away til she got her act together..If Mom,s depressed, she needs help (1 way is to count your blessings!!), but laziness just asks for a kick in ass.The daughter loves cleanliness obviously. It is Mom,s job to train or guide them.¨Poor kids.
Lord help the woman, she must be very depressed and in need of help. You can't tell me that the school teachers have never noticed anything withthe kids. Too much paper work, don't want to get involved...sad!!! Where is the council? Sad to say that there are many families in the world living in sloth but there are laws against it!!! Clean up or be fined||!!!!!
OMFG There's something ALIVE watch the corner at 2:23, it starts to come out, it's just a quick shot of the corner so keep your eye peeled! Eeew!! CREEpy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor Mum appears to be clinicaly depressed...not a bad person or lazy, hope shes getting treatment. They are a loving family despite everything. Where I live in Ontairo she would be visited by Childrens Aid, possibly the children would be removed if they appeared phyically negleted, however her children appear healthy and well adjusted despite their horrifying home.
Hmmmm, "I didn't want to start nagging the kids, and I didn't want to start laying down the law." It's called, training your children, but then I guess she was never taught either.
As someone who has gone through the adoption process, I know there are way more important issues than dirt. The kids are clean and fed and loved. I know people who have a dirty house that is extreme, but they adopted two lovely girls and provide a decent life for them. The bugs in this house, though, are pretty gross!

"It's not poopoo, it's beefstock!" I freaking love this show. :D

everytime I don't feel like cleaning, I watch an episode and stand back. I'm a flying with my dust rag and mop. 8P

i suddenly have the urge to clean .... EVERYTHING !!!
Mom has that look of being on meds OR need meds....lol
I love how the people on this show talk about how "disgusting" everything is. Hello! Clean it then! Do you think its someone else's job to clean it?
I give these ladies so much credit...I would scream and run. Seriously people O_o how do you just ignore the fact your home is a sanctuary :'(
Love you for doin this!
The woman seems ill or depressed or something from the slow slurry way she speaks. The dirty house is just the symptom, they need to go into the causes more.
+Liz Clegg I think she's drugged.
I cant understand how people can live like this! It is a wonder!

Naw that poor lil girl that keeps her room tidy its her sanctuary!!!

putrid is Kim's favourite word
I love how the blonde lady looks just like Pearl Forrester.
I've even hut my wrist and I clean the house! My room is a bit messy but nothing compared to this! O__O
I thought my house was bad, not nearly as bad as these houses on this program
LOL..."Unloved??? It's hated!"
"temper.." haha xD
I love this show. If this was on TLC they'd be going on about how the people are hoarders with a mental condition etc etc. Kim and Aggie just tell it like it is, that the people are dirty and lazy.
love it its funny
"Free spirited mum"? I have another word for her.
For some reason, nothing in these episodes has phased me as much as the carpet beetles and their larvae. Absolute horror.
The living room is alive lol🤣
That's true in some cases, but in other cases people do clean their houses. In fact, because hoarding is a form of OCD, some people hoard and then obsessively clean.
I'm surprised that no one called child protection agency!
I've watched so many of these I'm becoming desensitized to the point that this one doesn't look too bad. I know logically that it is, but some of the filth from the other shows has gotten into my brain or something!
...oh my
Every time I watch "HCIYH", I get an urge to clean something.
(Which isn't a bad thing...as we keep things pretty clean anyways) ;)
Ew. I feel bad for the apartments around theirs, becuase you know those bugs travel around to other people's homes too. And also that girl, because obviously, she'e the only one that cared enough to clean and keep her room clean.
where was the boy sleeping?

Does Hazel rent or own that apartment?
Picture that episode where brian pukes for a full three minutes.
=my reaction to this.

OMFG There's something ALIVE watch the corner at 2:23, it starts to come out, it's just a quick shot of the corner so keep your eye peeled! Eeew!! CREEpy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rance Family? Rancid more like it!
It´s passiv childabuse to have your place in that state
I'm itching all over.

Typical smal town English apt building with not much parking.
wtf at 1:47 look a their shirts
@cherylcamargo
It's Aggie, not Abby. No hostilities, just thought you should know before some a-hole tells you rudely : )
I hate, that the mom has her hair in pigtails, like a kid!! Clearly an adult, who is not wanting to take up responsability!
Pigtails are sweet
oh crap! I accidentally rated it a 4 star, I'm sorry, stupd me, I meant a 5 star. 'slaps face'
animals
what a horrible place to raise kids! the mom should really be ashamed
You'd rather let your children live in a rubbish tip than ask them to help clean?
Hmmmm, "I didn't want to start nagging the kids, and I didn't want to start laying down the law."
