The spine on the bandolier was one of my biggest issues(along with dreads). It is scaled more like a predator spine than a human one. Compare it with the bloody spine and it seems like even more of a goof up.
Completely agree, I’m gonna work with a buddy to find out what animal/S the spine was in the film and create one from scratch to replace it. It’s crazy big, too thick, too short and wrong shape.

I received mine a few hours ago and what can I say...the legs don't fit into the base! Seems they are not spread wide enough or similar 😢 The pegs don't hit the holes. Do you have any advice for me? I'm so desperate, paid over 5000 euros and that.
There is a certain angle you need to insert it, they can be stubborn. Had a lot of friends with the same issue. Make sure the holes are completely drilled out. My stump one wasn’t. Guide the front foot on as much as you can and the back should eventually line up and drop in as it gets lower. Heat usually work but this guy is thick, don’t think it will flex much if you do use a hair drier.
@@Roscoe0583 I can put the peg of one foot in a hole, but then the other one won't fit. Then it looks like the legs aren't far enough apart. Or one peg/hole is at the wrong place. I tried it with angle, but that doesn't worked and I already broke the tip of one nail. Oh I hate Prime 1 🤬
@@sedave2756 could be that it’s changed shape being in the box for so long but I had numerous people ask for help with the very same issue as yours and they eventually got it in. Get that front pin in the front foot as much as you can and see how far off the other is.

But what do you think, if I let him rest for 24 hours in my living room (the temperature there is 22 degrees Celsius) that will be enough and work? Hard to say how much it is off, at least 5 millimeter, maybe more.
@@Roscoe0583 cool, I just ordered mine as it was 10% off plus £500 for shipping/tax, so I paid £2600 for this version with the Billy’s skull and spine hand, which is the cheapest I found it for. Some joker on eBay is asking over £4K! The down side is that its being sent by ship freight, so it’ll take two months to get to the uk. Still, gives me time to sell some hot toys and redecorate my mancave. Nice channel, I subbed.
Well I think it depends on what you prefer. Movie accuracy you’d go with prime 1. If you want a cool concept piece of how the suit creator wanted the predator to look you’d pick Cinemaquette, as a true predator fan I couldn’t be without either. I still like the pose on the Cinemaquette and it’s more refined with fitment and completely hand painted, the overall package with certificate, box quality is just beautiful. Prime 1’s is perfectly scanned from film stills so the proportions are correct and it’s larger, the paint is more wet and detailed but a lot of it is decals which I hope don’t flake off in time, removal and assembly of the piece is definitely far more of a chore and less collector friendly.

I got cinemaquette after you convinced me back then and now I want the prime1 as well but I´m not sure if I should trade, get both or just settle with Cinemaquette, as much of a fan that I am space is a huge concern for me right now and will be for a couple more years =/

@@alo93533 well all prime 1 predators have decals stuck on them, they aren’t 100% painted by hand. No way could a company get this much detail with an airbrush in just a short amount of time and keep them consistent over 1500 units. On the 1/4, some people have the black patterning on the head flake off.

Also I just got into the whole collecting Prime1 statues. I only have 2 so far and they’re currently Heath Ledger Joker and God of War from the video games. I sure hope those don’t have any decals. You got me thinking twice now if it’s even worth collecting these things. 😓 I was hoping with these price points you’d at least get your moneys worth!

No problem, I’m glad myself, looks much better. As the dreads are more of a bigger job, I’ll wait to see what others do and go of their advice.

Just some very fine meguires wet look car polish. It’s more like a cleaner wax than a heavy polish.

Yeah the deluxe should come with the spine. The dxs comes with the extra wrist blades, mac skull and dog tag.

No I might leave them for a while. But I know someone who has, hot hair dryer then set to cold, seems to work. P1 also said you can do that.
