Ese año fue de reinas iconicas,Desire, Lourdes, Valerie, Kurara, Zuleyka y Pricila , han pasado muchos años y me recuerdo de todas ellas jejeje... Extraño esos concursos de la era Trump q dejaban huella.
Este fue el primer Miss Universo que vi en mi vida tenia 10 añitos. Lo vi con mis hermanas y todos nos emocionamos en especial mis hermanas porque Bolivia no clasificaba desde 1990 y era un orgullo para Bolivia 🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴
This year had a very strong and competitive top 10... but mine top 5 shoul be Switzerland, Japan, Colombia, Puerto Rico and between Mexico/Bolivia... all of them were stunning.
Miss Bolivia looks like Amelia Vega (MU2003) Miss Mexico looks like Natalie Glebova (MU2005) Miss Switzerland looks like Jennifer Hawkins (MU2004) Zuleyka Rivera is an absolute stunner. However, i was a bit disappointed when she passed on the crown to Riyo Mori (MU2007). She is the only MU winner who showed a sad countenanance while passing the crown to a successor.
México, Bolivia y Colombia espectaculares. Nunca voy a comprender por qué ninguna de las tres avanzó al top five si eran HERMOSAS. Desiree se ha convertido desde la fecha hasta hoy en la unica boliviana que ha llegado tan lejos, todo un orgullo para su país, estaba realmente bella. México sin palabras, su comitiva era una fiesta completa, opacaron a la anfitriona. Priscila estuvo perfecta, la amé. Y Colombia ni hablar, como colombiano siempre adoré a Valerie, la veía en la final ese año, uno de los mejores cuerpos, pasarela, y naturalidad. Tenía todo para llegar más lejos. Ese trío será inolvidable para mí. 😍😍😍
I remember seeing Miss Mexico and being shocked how much she resembled Natalie, that year's outgoing titleholder. For a second I thought she was going to win because of that. A poor assumption but I was a young, impressionable little boy. Lol
Mexico, Canada & Bolivia was a front runner that year. Most of pageant fans pick them as the winner. But too bad their style during evening gown competition killed their chance. Canada styled too similar with Natalie Glebova last year winner. Mexico gown was hideous plus her hairstyle so akward. And Bolivia gown look outdated and weak.

Amazing. And amazing resolution as well. I remember watching this in my room alone, I was only 15. A kid. I was rooting for zuleyka all the way. She was born in my town Cayey and I have family who lived next to some of her family members. I was 15 she was only 18, I can’t imagine, she was a little girl tbh. Everything she did that night was 💯 genuine, from her walks to her emotions being called to the next cut every time. And that’s vs woman who were older than her, she didn’t let anything steal her own light. Wow. She was so young omg. I couldn’t sleep that night haha.

Look at img era, miss universe 2019 contestants hardly set a foot outside of the hotel. No sight seeing, no activities, nothing. Just endorsing chi products & doing photoshoots for chi. And reharsal. Nothing more. And the preliminary event looks like a local pageant, with the stage & production. Please img give the franchise to someone who can manage the competition. Tengo que decir que este año le robaron como de costumbre a Colombia 🇨🇴 Velerie hoy en día es una mujer con millones de seguidores. Por otro lado arevalos de Paraguay ha sido la UNICA miss de ese país bonita que triste que ese país nunca suene en nada. Trinidad y tobago merecía TOP 5 pero siempre el racismo prima, y respecto a la ganadora pues se lo merecía
No es cierto, Paraguay ha enviado muchas mujeres hermosas, pero como bien dices "priman otros intereses" y al parecer no es negocio coronar a una paraguaya o a la más bella. Precisamente por causa de eso las mujeres bellas de mi país han perdido el interés en participar. En los últimos años Paraguay ganó el Miss supranational y el Miss Grand internacional y ahora hay mucho interés en las jóvenes en participar.

Tengo que decir que este año le robaron como de costumbre a Colombia 🇨🇴 Velerie hoy en día es una mujer con millones de seguidores. Por otro lado arevalos de Paraguay ha sido la UNICA miss de ese país bonita que triste que ese país nunca suene en nada. Trinidad y tobago merecía TOP 5 pero siempre el racismo prima, y respecto a la ganadora pues se lo merecía
No es cierto, Paraguay ha enviado muchas mujeres hermosas, pero como bien dices "priman otros intereses" y al parecer no es negocio coronar a una paraguaya o a la más bella. Precisamente por causa de eso las mujeres bellas de mi país han perdido el interés en participar. En los últimos años Paraguay ganó el Miss supranational y el Miss Grand internacional y ahora hay mucho interés en las jóvenes en participar.
