As a bookworm, I have to say that the aroma of books is just as important as the content of the written material. Thanks loads for your video! I do think that's really important for artists and Tarot deck creators to provide us with a book explaining the art of the card and relating it to the meaning of the Tarot, especially decks that are symbol heavy. I'm so thankful for Taylor Ellis giving us a guidebook for the Tarot of the Starbound Phantasia, it's so filled with symbols that you really need that extra help to understand all the layers on the cards.
This was great and so good to know about different guidebooks! It's rare to find decks with decent guidebooks because the information can either be too repetitive or very farfetched. Thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏
Llewellyn really does have great sniff worthy guidebooks! 👃📖 Coming in December 2022, Yoshi Yoshitani has the Tarot of the Divine Handbook: A Guide to Understanding Tarot Symbolism coming out. 💫 👃👃👃Mmmm, fresh ink! 📚💕
Hi Ang! Hope you’re good! Llewellyn has spoiled me! That’s good that the tarot of the divine is getting a handbook! Might have to pick it up. Thanks for watching 💚
I think one of my prettiest guidebooks is a recent one. Embroidered Graveyard Oracle. Satin black hardback, rose gold guilding on the pages, color pictures, nice paper, ton of rose gold foil stamping on the front & back cover, and ribbon bookmark. Devine production quality on that one. I also like the spiral bound for the Alleyman Tarot.
@@TarotbythePines it's so PRETTY. You should def check it out. I was lucky enough to add one of the original Embroidered hoops from the deck to my KS pledge. I have the original hoop for the Companions card, a little cat in a basket. Her talent is out of this world.
Smell-o-vision and explanations- yes, Tarot 101 and spreads- Noooooo. EAP is ultimate smell-o-vision. Lightseers is beautifully written. Golden Girls NEEDS a GB!!! We should offer to write one. ✍️ The GOAT is Robin Wood GB!💜
My current favorite guidebook is The Forest of Enchantment book (another Llewellyn). The color and details are amazing. It feels like a fairytale book from childhood. Also a favorite is The Celtic Tree Oracle by Liz and Colin Murray. I learned a good basic knowledge of Ogham from this guidebook. And it's an extremely durable hard cover.
So far, from my experience and your addition, Llewellyn books are no joke! I love all of my Llewellyn deck guidebooks. Speaking of a hard cover, I would be interested in seeing guidebooks that have a hard cover. Thanks for watching and commenting 💚
I was like "hardback?! Mine didn't come with a hardback.".....then I realized I have the Celtic Tree Oracle by Sharlyn Hidalgo. Lol. Was totally feeling left out for a second.

Love the shirt. Lol'ed when I saw it. I've been binging Schitts Creek lately.
It’s simply the best 😉💚
