Duy Nguyễn Quý You pick the 6th W your thumb, then 4th w your index, 3rd w thumb, 2nd w index then slap the strings w thumb, 3rd w index, slap w thumb then 4th w index... hope it was understandable ;) (this is just the basic pattern)
Watch both original and this one at the same time you'll see this one looks easier by far not to mention the original is played on a Martin...

As an admirer of this song, I usually scoff at covers of it because very few people have the skill to get the riff down to begin with, nevermind get comfortable enough with it to incorporate the melody, and then throw in some variations on top of that. Great work.
Most people have trouble with the regular version, you are quite a musician. You found the harmony and you make the bass line, you are awesome hope you know it

Thanks man. I use gauge 11 Elixirs. A lot of people hate on them, but I don't know why. They last a long time, maintain tuning and take forever to rust. Highly recommend it especially if you play a lot.
