I have been watching a lot of different polymer clay artists in the past few months, and I have to tell you, I really love your work. Between you and Donna Kato, this is the style I'll strive for.
When you first started this, I thought "Oh, Samantha - what are you doing - this is not very pretty". But, the finished pendant is quite beautiful. Congratulations on another successful experiment!
Classy pendant and fun idea to make it! Going to try it out. Thanks for showing both ways, sure worked with the alcohol ink on first! Loved it. Want a big picture made with the string technique! Let KitKat in the room, haha.
This is my favourite. I know you’ve done much more complicated techniques, but I love the organic/pottery quality of this piece. Those little dots of alcohol created a beautiful pattern on the ink. The string pull also made an organic effect in the ink. Amazing.
Sam, actually they both look excellent with the “Lilly” pattern. I love the Lilly one sooo much I would love to see you make a broken-up piece collar necklace? It would be stunning! 🤔😉🥰
Just a tip, going against the lines with the wet wipe will bring out the texture much better than with them. Dragging it with the lines picks up more of the liquid of choice from the recessed parts. Love this piece!❤❤❤❤
I’ve seen you make a lot of pretty things, but this is out of the world! Absolutely stunning! I also loved the “over-the-shoulder” type video where we get to see your design choices and experimenting. Thank you for that. PS. I always get the cord loops through the hole in the wrong direction too. Very annoying 😂
This is so cool! So glad Wanting to do some polyclay tiles and this supercharged my motivation. I usually create using woodland and nature themes so some variation of these techniques will definitely get played with! Thanks so much for sharing.
Such a beautiful unique piece, great job! 💜 Also because you were off screen mostly while doing clasp, any chance you can do a tutorial on different clasps? Toggles, lobster or adjustable ones etc. ☺
Samantha I think you have created basically with your roots, some dew dropped calla lilies. (Just my idea) This has got to be one of your most creative pieces so far. I have not seen the entire tutorial as yet so I will most likely either edit this comment or if push comes to shove, just make a new comment. So far it's awesome. Totally Fine (with a capital F).
Hi 🙂 at 22:15 in your video i see a human body in your paste, but I see the flower too I reassure you 😉 he can be a pretty mini frame 😉. I make one jewelry with the same shape but with another design, I cook it on a bowl and I have a bubble on the side, so I cook it again flat under a tiles and the bubble still there, you have maybe a solution for me please? I'm a fan from long time about your work and you teach me a lot, you inspired and motived me and I thank you for that, where I can send to you pictures ?

"Over the Shoulder" video gives us an idea of how you work things out on your own - so interesting. Your experiment turned out so perfectly organic.
I liked the different ways you use apply the use of the alcohol inks...great job...God bless
I'm so sad that I've only recently found you. I would have bought this. You are without a doubt the best designer I have seen on here.
That is so beautiful, well done you 😊

Wonderful Sam… as always! Hi! From Ruthie in New York State (near the Adirondack’s! 😂) USA 😊

❤I LOVE this one!! It is my favorite of all that you've made. I think you making items on the fly from time to time is a wonderful idea!! Great job!!❤

I’m glad you “heard me” 😂as i was shouting at my screen to put the alcohol inks on the clay before the string 👌🏼
It’s such a pretty result

And your jewelry are very pretty and the finished too. I like the precision and the time you pass for explain every details to us, thank you so much ❤
What would happen if you put the alcohol ink down, then soaked the hemp in isopropyl alco, then pulled it?
Not sure. You could test it. It would certainly look different.
I painted a piece of baked polymer clay but now I want the paint off or at least faded or lighter. how can I do this ?
You can try removing the paint by sanding the piece or wiping it off with some strong isopropyl alcohol.
In order to get the answer to the below question, do I need to join ?
Hello people
Interesting technique, but too much off camera, was unable to see 2nd half
That is gorgeous!!
