These are really lovely and quite realistic to original fossil corals, but the last molded one was really special. Thanks for the tip of wiping pieces with alcohol before baking, it makes a big difference.
I am happily surprised! I thought for sure this was going to be an image transfer tutorial when I initially saw the picture of the jewelry. But as soon as the video started, I saw the tubes & strips of clay and couldn't wait to see the cane. I love the pieces you made. Gorgeous! And of course we got a few durp moments which I will miss greatly if you don't come back to us. I hope you change your mind Deb. You've put too much pressure on yourself, let alone people who can't keep their mean & meaningless comments to themselves. Art is suppose to be joyful to YOU most importantly. Maybe a video here & there? 😉 But only if it makes you happy.
Thank you! Well, I’ve been busy just creating what I want, when I want. No pressure. It’s been great! I’m still finishing a trazillion pieces to photograph and then open up a website. This is my priority atm , but maybe once that’s taken off (hopefully), I’ll think about doing a video, here and there. Now that I feel happy, again, I’m warming up to the idea…we shall see…
Thank you for keeping clay fun! Yes, watching those surgically precise tutorials makes me feel unworthy and keeps me away from my clay. Warm here too for February. 15% chance of damaging winds, 15% chance of large hail, and a 5% chance of tornadoes here this evening.
Omg!!! I had to pause a couple of times 😅. The smooshed piece had me rolling. Your giggles and laughed are infectious 😅😂 i love how they all came out with those little peaks of color. The all translucent one looks 3D. ❤💞 Gail
This is one of my favorite tutorials. I have tried it twice and it just turned into a distorted terrible mess. You do such good work and are so generous with your time and talents. I just wanted to say thank you. I will try again however I am not sure where I went wrong.😊 34:47
Here I discover stones that I never imagined existed. This one is very well done, I looked for images of the originals, and the result is beautiful. Congratulations!
Another fabulous video❤️. I use your design ideas and videos to make buttons for my hand knits. Thank you for sharing your creative skills and making the process so accessible x
I started a TH-cam channel myself a little over a month ago. You inspire me to be my genuine self with my videos. I actually tagged you in my #003 upload because I did a "Chippy Choppy" faux stone. I enjoy watching your videos very much!
Love this!! And thank you for the derp 😂 I'm betting we've all done this at some point, and I just adore your giggles. You made me giggle along with you. Thank you for being who you are and for sharing your tutorials with us 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Those are absolutely gorgeous! I love Petoskey Stones & have been thinking about trying to create some. Your tutorial definitely gives me a place to start - thank you. And I love the effect of the white & translucent over the coloured backing. Very subtle & pretty.
Greetings from Michigan! (the Petoskey stone is our state stone). We hit 70 degrees today. Crazy weather coming. I can't wait to give this pattern a try. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial.
These are AMAZING! Love the translucency and the pops of color. Oh my gosh! I nearly peed when you smooshed that first slice. 😂😂😂 Thanks for the derp. LoL
Thank you for all your hard work on these videos..your workisbeautiful..absolutely love the way you can laugh at yourself..I always love watching..wonderful instructions and laughter..keep up the good work
Another great tutorial. Squashing the cane with the first slice, loved it, it was as if I was doing it. I laughed right along with you. Thanks for keeping it real.
This is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to try this over summer! Thank you so much for your generosity and all you do! You’re such a treasure, Deb! ❤
I will always be amazed how people come up with these kinds of cane designs. I've tried a few times in the past and never create what I was hoping to create. Thankfully I'm slowly learning to embrace the chaos.
Lovely! When I started baking on paper, my pieces warped. So from then on, I made sure to take them off of the paper and put them on a glass cutting board I used at the time while they were hot. No more warping! Thanks for another great tutorial!
Love it! So pretty, and don’t worry if it squashes a little bit part was so great to hear your wonderful laughter!! It happens to is all from time to time. You are so talented and creative. Thank you for sharing, as always, Deb! ❤❤❤
Deb, you have shared so many wonderful tutes. Thank YOU!! I have to say this is one of my most favorite ones. I HAVE to try this. Again, thanks and Brava!!!
Omgoodness love ya Deb you had me rolling so hard, I almost wet myself. Yes on pause so I could run to the potty. I love the derps they always make my day or in this case night. As for you pieces omg they are beautiful. Even the failure you don’t like. It’s definitely different maybe just polish it up, it may become a diamond in the rough. Ya never know. Tfs bigs hugs for almost making me wet myself laughing. ❤😊 love to you both.
Could you remind me what project it was where you shaped a "bum"? I need to laugh, that video made me laugh for hours!!! Thank you so much, everyone needs more laughter in life!!!
I recently got molds from Sweety Bijou that are really nice. Not completely positive but I believe it’s Ludmila. Anyway, it’s 3 molds on the one I got, it makes really nice finished pieces.
Wow, wonderfull as always Just one little question. Do you use a wet wipe with alcohol to clean your pieces? if I do the clay gets very sticky, I use 99% isopropyl alcohol.
Thank you. Not to be rude, but I think I say, at least three times, throughout the video that I’m using a wipe and isopropyl alcohol. No, mine doesn’t get sticky.
Has taken me nearly 24 hours to get to watch all of this, too many interruptions 🤷🏼♀️… gonna have to fix an automatic text that tells people I’m busy watching my favorite tutorial person 🩷. Anyway … another one I LOVE!! Derp I didn’t hear jolly good burnish 🤔… I love listening to you.

I love this because it's got the stone look but it's also more fun than most natural stones. I'll save this for later

Absolutely Gorgeous Darling 😍🥰 (said in a fake snobby British accent 🤫)
Thank you, daahling 😆
You were talking about the warm temps today. Your temps were like the temps we had in Lancaster ny. Are you by chance near where i live?
I’m in Ohio
You're work is beautiful. I wonder do you bake in your regular oven?
Yes, I do
how are ya liking your new craft area?
Lovin’ it!
Wow, wonderfull as always
Just one little question.
I also just did a tutorial on this mine is a lot different.
👍
Love your work. You are very talented. Can you use any alcohol ink or is the cernit especially for the clay.
Thanks. I think I said in the video that you can use any alcohol ink.
Deb said any kind of ink is ok just the colors are what you want to use.
I recommend the Picassio inks, if you don’t have Cernit. They’re listed in my Amazon storefront, and you get a lot of different colors.
Has taken me nearly 24 hours to get to watch all of this, too many interruptions 🤷🏼♀️… gonna have to fix an automatic text that tells people I’m busy watching my favorite tutorial person 🩷.
