After the live tour for the Album "Rosenrot", they took a break for a year. After that break they discussed whether they would go on tour or make a new album. They decided for the new album. They need three years for songwriting, recording and so on. So there was a break of 4 years between the last live tour "Rosenrot" and the release of the new album "Liebe ist für alle da".
Basically all 6 of them are comedians. For instance Flake wrote 2 Books about his time with Rammstein and was on a public reading tour and it was so funny what he has to say. It always makes me laugh when Flake says " That's slander. I won't put up with that". Six different personalities who get together so well because they know and respect each other so well. My favourite band member has always been Schneider. To me, he's the heating heart of the band and he's such a sweet guy as well. Paul is hilarious and so nosey. I really think this video was a sort of compromise video because the arguments about it had gone on for so long. I'm not a fan of Akerlund's performance videos ( too many fast edits for me) but the videos for Mein Land, Mann Gegen Mann and Pussy are great. Flake has a very dry sense of humour and you can never tell if he's being serious or not unless he's speaking about Till. You can see the great friendship between them. No Till or Oliver but they are the most reserved of the band. The making of videos are so good and you can learn so much about the band and the band of from them.

Sometimes I wonder if he gets inspiration on childhood trauma from having been friends so long with Richard. RZK is on record as saying that she neglected him in favour of his older brother (I presume emotionally) and that he was beaten by his step father plus lots of other bad experiences. But he had a dream, and that dream came true... Rammstein.
From currently ongoing tour that started in 2019, so far, they've earned over 320 million. Yeah, they're doing good, and they deserve every penny of it. P.S. It's Fla-kah, hard a, not Flæk 😂

Listen to his song "Sport Frei" and read the comments. Than you know what he had to go through as a child and Teenager 😨. The relationship with his father was difficult. After the end of his swimming carrer he lived with him, his mother lived somewhere else 🤗

Hello D..Yes it is true ..Rammstein were away 4 years.. from the last tour and album in 2005 until 2009 with LIFAD.
I would love it if you made more 'making of' videos. The making of "Pussy" is especially hilarious.
