The very last part of the "SCENE №6" clip at www.net-film.us/film-55367/ where Putin tells Peta he'd give her a junior rank was right after her joke and she looked bothered directly afterwards, but unfortunately the full footage is not there and I can't find it. Also, this article says Putin did know who Jack Nicholson was, since he told him he liked One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which puts another hole in her story.
