It is a knock off cuz the real one has a bandai logo on the box and the shfiguarts logo too on the loeft corner on the top of the front side of the box
@@funisoffensive4096 Some knock offs are actually not bad. From looking around it seems there's a good chunk of knock offs nowadays that are made from the same factory as the legit ones just without the heavy QC, or they take the parts that didn't pass QC and package them up as KO's. If you're curious the KO Mafex Venom is pretty damn solid as well as some of the Mafex Spider-Man figs. I grabbed one of each out of curiosity and the Venom (besides being a tad smaller than the real one) is completely solid. I only had to dremel a tiny bit into the head for the head to fully pop on. Spidey is fine except for one of the butterflies being stuck. For 20 bucks though he's got more range than a lot of ML Spidey's even with the one stuck butterfly. I say give them a shot if nothing else than to have a video about KO discussion. Honestly grabbing those KO's has me even more interested in grabbing a real Mafex. I'm waiting for their NWH Tobey McGuire and Holland new red and blue from the ending. I didn't want to take a chance on an expensive figure so I tried the KO's that I heard were actually close to the originals. So if the KO's are good then the real ones must be fantastic.
@@spideyshiz I wouldn't call it a waste if you're financially able to do it while paying all your other obligations. You're guaranteeing you get a good product and if it has an issue will likely easily be solved by contacting the seller/company. With a KO it is a bit of a gamble, but it's also a gamble with a much cheaper amount. I wouldn't have even gave them a shot if it weren't for a vid I saw that explained the differences between KO's and that some weren't bad. The real ones will always be the way to go for good paint apps, QC, and assurance.
@@funisoffensive4096 Classic red and blue is ingrained in my head and my utmost favorite but that feels like it's not really an answer. Outside of that I dig the look of the Spider Armor mk 1. Silver > gold, but also Spidey tossing metal on himself to really let loose is cool to me. Ben Reilly with the blue hoody is cool and I almost decided to preorder that new ML one, buuuut I'm more selective with the ML purchases now. Plus I don't know much about Reilly and not really attached to him. I like the simplistic suit he has though. As for the PS4/5 suit it just feels overdesigned to me. There's lines and breaks in the costume that seem visually messy to me. The big center white symbol also seems like it was designed specifically to become the iconic symbiote one. Which isn't a big deal because they thankfully give you a bunch of suits to choose from with the classic being one of the first ones available.
