Just wanted to say that the lighter concealer is what was supposed to be used for the transparent eyeliner. That's why you don't need eyeshadow (it also needs to be blended out a bit more).

I watched Denislava( I think that is her name) do the hack and she used like the lightest concealer she had. It actually did look invisible.
for the first hack, the other day I used my buffing brush before it was dry after washing it (lets say... 60-70% wet) and my makeup was flawless on my dry skin, so... I think that's the less messy way of "adding hydration"
Also feel like the first hack would only work with oil based foundations and water based ones would just dissolve.
This hack is fake. It's misinterpreted from the Chinese make up ads on TikTok where they put the foundation in water or put it on in the rain to show its water proof.
It's been tested by many YT channels and shows the foundation comes off more from being in water than not.
Of course a damp brush worked you're supposed to blend your foundation put with a damp utensil hence why you wet your make up sponges....so that's why that worked.
@@alicine-sims8988 yes they would dissolve and oil will just trap water. It's from Chinese make up ads that show their foundation is water proof aka oil based but kids on TikTok learning make up misunderstand the ad. Just use a damp foundation brush or make up sponge.
It reminds me of people dunking their face in water after applying foundation for the same reason
I thought that the “invisible” liner should be painted on the inside with concealer or foundation , and then be blended to look like it’s transparent on your skin.
The bat eye liner is amazing and I do it all the time! Not only because I have a hooded eye, but because it’s very cool lol

I think on the lips one, a key part of getting it is blending out the concealer in a way that softens the edge of your lips. For you, it looked like you mostly blended the concealer only outwards, so the lip line was still fairly clear.
The dark lines I don't think would work unless someone has her lip shape, which already had a really stark shadow on the outer edges.
But also it’s NOT for everyday wear. This is just for pictures and such

I believe the foundation in water was actually to test the foundation that it was waterproof and stuff by Chinese TikTok, not a hack I believe. I could be wrong but yeah.

A hack and a concrete way to do your make up are completely different things. The hack can be pointless, nonsense, a waist of product, time consuming and unuseful or really genius and life changing. Applying blush connecting eyes and cheeks is pure personal taste. Btw, its inspo is Classical Chinese Opera... Same for the Dou Yin lip (or any other design). It' s up to you how you draw your lips, wich colour, texture and facial expression you want to achieve through make up. 🧛🏻♀️🖤

If putting your foundation in water "added hydration" you could simply prep your skin by spraying it with water...also the girl in the video used a TON of product
AND if you use a damp sponge to apply normal foundation, it wets the foundation already… without the cup
Gonna be frank, I hate every “hack” in this one. 😭 I don’t think any of them work on the practical level . Thanks for another video, Tina! I can definitely see the difference in this phone’s camera. My iPhone camera sucks. Lately it’s been making everything more orange, not true to color at all. Unfortunately I gotta stick with iPhone so here’s to photo editing apps. 🥂
The "bat eyeliner" is just the only way to draw eyeliner on my hooded eyes. It's just an old trick with a new name!!!

I've found out that for me lining my lips and the corners of them works best with a brownish lip tint sharpie from kiko.
If I do a gradient lip, lining my lips with a sharp lins won't look as good

OMG Tina I literally have over 50 pairs of lashes, mink ones, silk ones, magnetic, you name it I probably have them. The only problem is I HAVE NO EARTHLY CLUE HOW TO PUT THEM ON. I have tried every way possible that there is to apply them, and every single time it is a complete and utter FAIL.
You sound like me, I have more than I should have cause I too also have little idea on how to appropriately apply false lashes no matter how light or simple they are in build 🤣

Practice. I don't wear lashes much, but it's everything to practice.
Try cutting them in half and just use them on the outer corner or 3/4 of the way across. I struggle with them too and it's usually the inner corner and/or getting the entire band on at once that makes it so difficult. It can also be easier if you put the glue directly onto your lashline like eyeliner. Hope that helps! 🙂
I think you should try the invisible eye liner trick again. I second what other people have commented and you need to use a very light concealer than really blend it out and set it with a pale shadow. I think it could be a very cool look.
The foundation in water hack seems like it would waste a lot of foundation. Now you have it sitting in a cup of water needing to be washed out!
That was exactly my thought. I don't wear foundation often, but I use the more expensive foundation when I do. I don't want to waste it.

Way back then to get dewy foundation was to just wet your brush with water and put it on. Another way to achieve dewy foundation was to mix your serum to your foundation. Some of these hacks are things we did a couple years ago but now ppl are incorporating the same concepts but in shocking ways to get those tiktok views 😂

Instead of the eyeliner on the last look, I’ve seen some people use eyeshadow and blend that out a little so it’s not so sharp and is more subtle, if that helps!
